I am dropping you a note to inform you of the upcoming Tournament
on Jan 13th 2007 in Louisville, Kentucky USA. It will be a "Shobu
Ippon" style tournament. Please feel free to contact me directly or
Melvin Lewis sensei for further information, an electronic flyer and
registration form if you are interested.

On another note I wanted to thank those who came to the KOJF Hombu
in Cincinnati this past Saturday for the seminar on the katas Hakutsuru
(white crane) and Chikin Sanakake no Ekudi(oar kata). From all the
feedback everyone had fun and took home a lot of information. I look
forward to the next seminar and seeing everyone once more with the
thirst to learn and improve their karate & kobudo knowledge.

With the oncoming Holiday/Holyday season upon us I wish everyone a
safe and pleasant season and look forward to hearing from you soon.
