That would sound like a wonderful Idea. Unfortunately I am deployed to Iraq at the moment (AGAIN!!!!) and will not be back until Septemberish next year. I have been overly laxed in training prior to deployment. Spending time with my family seemed more important. I feel guilty that I have not talked to Dacosta Sensei in a long time. I miss my favorite teacher and friend.

 

Where I am at (Camp Victory) there are actually several people that teach various styles of martial arts (No Shotokan though) So I will explore the various style here to keep in shape. They offer Tae Kwon Do, Sambo (Russian Wrestling), Aikido, Jujitsu, and Muay Thai kickboxing.

My suggestion might be Aikido as it maintains the traditional values of Japan and Budo. Just a suggestion. Take care. Ramsey William J SFC MNC-I C7 Operations...
