RE: [KOJF] Checking in on everyone!

Greetings Holley Sensei

All is well in the UK, we have a lot of new potential students trying out the clubs and hope to attract them to join us in due course. Very busy and have 14 lessons a week to run now.. :).. Keeps an aging person a little fitter.

Our kenjutsu training is also developing nicely and 3 of my students passed their Shoden grade on Monday so progress is made!

I am working on a number of projects this year to improve our skills and understanding, a major one being how best to develop junior yudansha into adult yudansha.. This is always a difficult topic as many juniors attain their grade for athleticism rather than understanding whereas adult gradings are a lot more functionally based. Smooth transition is the key, IMO.

All the very best to you an dthe group members for 2006..

Regards
