I just recieved some good news from the irs, so I'm almost ready to
order a Kogswell frame. Before I call Matthew, I wanted to poll the
group for a better understanding of the fit of the frame.

My current setup is a Bridgestone 400 with Albatross bars...

pbh = 790
compartment = 710
saddle ht = 700
tt = 545
ct = 535
ha = 72.3
sa = 73.3

The compartment is long because I've got short legs/long torso, and
I've got a 130mm stem to accomodate the Albatross bars, which are
about at seat level. With this setup, I find myself wanting more
setback for the saddle, further increasing the compartment.

My question is do I need a 53 or 56? I'm not overly concerned about
pushing standover height, so the 56 would seem to address both
compartment length and bar height, but I'm not sure if it would leave
the saddle too low...compartment minus saddle height is (700 - 563 =
137) vs (700 - 536 = 164).

Thanks in advance,

bill

Keep in mind that the top tube is actually 50mm lower than the frame size would indicate. That is, the seat tube extends 50mm above the top tube. My 59cm...

I'm a 5'5" female with rather long arms and shortish legs (think monkey ;) ) and I fit very nicely on a 53cm P/R with noodles. I think without a doubt 56cm...

... It would be tougher to get the stem right on a 53. So that leads me to recommend a 56. Matthew...
