It has arrived!   Message List

Well, after nearly giving up hope, I came home from a trip this
weekend to find that my 61cm Kogswell P/R frameset had arrived! The
last few days have been a feverish build, and today I was able to snap
some photos and ride her to work. Still, a few tweaks needed, but I'm
a happy man. Pics here: http://picasaweb.google.com/lerner.n/KogwellPR

The build includes old Shimano Deore mechs, an old Dura Ace triple
crankset, Sun CR18 rims with Grand Bois tires (ooh, so tight!),
Shimano BR-R550 cantis, Nitto noodles w/ Tekro levers, Brooks Champion
Flyer saddle.

The front bag is a Karammor saddlebag with added stiffeners and the
setup is a homemade decaleur via an ITM stem, which also serves as a
front brake cable stop. I also found that the chunk of 26mm seat tube
that the bag and stem are attached to serves as a fine holder for my
U-lock. There's also a Nitto M12 rack under there.

... Thanks for the comments, Alex. The bag is unloaded in the pic, and I think it would likely reach the rack with a load, but trying a different stem is a...
