The 59 x 700Cs need forks, which will ship, along with the
rest of the frames, next week.
The 59 x 26" are going out slowly.
What 53s, 56s and 61s we did get got allocated to dealers
and the persistent.
When I'm not talking on the phone or packing orders, I'm
working on another order of frames, 64 x 700C, 53 and 56
x 650B step-through, and more 650B frames.
The racks are back in motion - the rack guy was away for
about a month, so work stopped.
We're making a lot of money on smaller stuff, and I'd
like to continue to expand that, but I like to make frames
and forks.
I'm as organized as I have ever been, but every time I
find a way to get more efficient and organized, the
demand grows to fill it. We doubled our warehouse
space and it is immediately not enough. It seems
like every door I open immediately gets jammed with
folks trying to move in and out of it.
Oh well.
I'll be packing orders tomorrow and Sunday. I have
to go pick up a new computer mid-day tomorrow.
I'm also picking up packing supplies and making
a delivery to Hiawatha tomorrow. And then on
Sunday I'm putting together a three-pallet
shipment for Trinity. Oh, and I have to run to the
powder coater tomorrow to pick up from some
frames for Free Range.
Hey Folks - Sorry my first post to the group has to be about something other than the P/R and related stuff, but does anybody know if Matt et al are manning...
... Matthew, I'm not Brian, but I tried to call you. There was no answer and the mail box was full. I'd like to suggest that there are numerous folks out here...
... I second and third the above. I, too, suspect that the delays in G2 P/R's are beyond Matthew's control, but with very little communication on the subject,...
... Yep...and here's a quick example of what I'm talking about. On the Velo Orange blog today there was this brief update on one of the products... "Umm,...

... Matthew, a suggestion... If you're that busy, perhaps it would be in everyone's best interest if you simply *only* sold Kogswell frames and products...
Thank you for the update! I (we) appreciate it. I can only wish to someday have a business/product with demand I could barely keep up with. It makes me think...
... You're welcome. I'm glad to do it. ... I've been reading a lot about how to keep ahead of a business that's scaling up quickly. So I appreciate your...
... Wow, that's really frustrating, particularly if I have no way of knowing if I've been persistent enough to be one of the lucky ones to have a 61 P/R...
... To me, Velo-orange is the site by which all others are judged. Simple website, always up to date, always something interesting to read on the blog, and...
Velo-orange also has a beautiful stainless porteur rack that is due out in less than a month. http://www.velo-orange.com/voporteurrack.html ...and yep, Chris...
I know all to well how Matthew might be feeling. As a small business person, things sometime can be chaotic as you start to grow as a business. It's all ...
