for what its worth (im assuming that were speaking of the modified
cetma mount from the back of the rack to the fork crown mounts here)
- gregs mount is likely way stiffer than dans. the one potential
weakness of platform racks is yaw (side-to-side rotational sway/flex
with the hub axle as the pivot point) with heavy loads - and if youre
going to brace to fork crown mounts like this, or even, as my rack
does, brace through the fork crown brake mount hole, its best to
triangulate more, which will reduce the racks yawing... *especially*
if youre going to use flimsy little rack straps :)

Having the fork mounts triangulated like Greg's setup is better than the way I did mine. I'm sure the reason for the flex is the flimsy brackets themselves....
