Some have been asking about the P/R geometry and one asked
how much the T/T slopes.

So, here's a drawing:

http://kogswell.com/images/SR.gif

The next batch of P/Rs will include a 59cm model made for 622 wheels.
And for those who are convinced that 650Bs are not magical, it will
include a 559 version as well.

All of the P/Rs share the same 'cockpit', which means that
the S/T, T/T, and H/T are all oriented the same way.

The 622 will be built with a 28.6mm D/T, the 'standard' diameter
that the 'planing crowd' are so enamoured of.

We've also combed through the tubes and reduced the frame
weight by 180g.

Forks will be available that will be appropriate for 36 and 30mm
tires and randonneuring loads.

And we'll have alloy fenders to match.

I personally think the 650B bikes are better, but I don't see
any good reason to not produce a 622 bike that does
everything the 650B bike does so well.

There will only be 20 of the 622 and 559s made and ONLY
in 59cm this time. So get your orders in early.

And if they sell well, we'll certainly make other sizes.
Plus, there are 24"-wheeled models on the horizon as
well. I like 24" wheels for quick, sub-20k trips. And
we want to make good on our promise of a bike that
offer young people a proper ride.

Lots of wheel sizes to fit lots of people. Lot's of forks
to fits lots of uses. But only one geometry: the
korrect one.

Matthew
