So I finally took it off road today. But before I go there let me finish on the
build.
It was all pretty straight forward, if you follow the directions. The ergo seat
is different. The base is some type of material that you flex into the seat
frame and hold it with zip ties and bolts. I would highly recommend getting one
of those zip tie pullers to do this job. They are inexpensive and do a great
job. I have one and I use it all the time.
The adjusting bolt on the disc brakes was pretty tight. I was missing one pad on
the right side but Dave got it out to me immediately. Setting up and adjusting
the DRs is pretty much standard. Although the rear DR does not have an adjusting
knob on it. You have to use the adjuster on the shifter. No big thing.
The shark DR post is neat looking and very different. The single pull dual brake
on the right for the front brakes is neat and and adjusting didn't seem all that
hard. The rear brake has a paking brake setting. Very nice feature especially
when you are going up a hill and have to stop and don't want to roll back. I
added some liz skins to the sections of the frame where the cabeling was rubbing
(just infront of the seat) or where I thought the chain might slap again the
frame. All in all a fairly striaght forward assembly for a trike.
As I said before if you are mechanically inclined or have worked on bikes before
it should be a fairly straight build. If not then best to find a good LBS who
you trust and respect and have them do the work for you. I believe Utah Trikes
offers the Cobra all ready assemble. You will pay for it in shipping but it is
an option and I hear they are very good. if I were going to have someone else
build mine I would probably use them.
I am very pleased with the look and quality of the trike and cannot say enough
about Dave and the customer service responsiveness. IMHO these guys are the best
that I have ever dealt with.
Please feel free to ask any questions and I will try to answer them the best I
can.

Cheers!
