Sorry it took so long to answer your question. So, Here goes:

Spped bumps, taken slow, you and bottom out. the geometry of the
trike is, if you take it fast, you will wheelie over and miss the
bottom (more fun and the kids love to watch) bumps on trail aren't
much of an issue. But I do go pretty fast on them too. I spent the
first week figuring out what the limitations were and one thing is the
bottom is flat enough to go over most even when bottoming out. I
spent am smuch time trying to treat my KMX like I would expect renters
to and the KMX has withstood my abuse. I don't expect you to trash it
out after spending that much money but it can handle a lot if you do
go pushing to the limits.
