Since we had no skate drawing last week, we will be holding a 2nd drawing for a
pair of skates at the end of this week.

Astroland has been very generous to offer an exclusive excursion to all of our
participants. They have arranged a $10 all you can ride park pass. Astroland
is a New York experience and has been a location for films, music videos, and
commercials including "The Wiz," "He Got Game," "The Object of My Affection,"
the Fat Boyz, and has been on the Discovery Channel, Later Today (NBC), and much
more. We will collect this fee on Friday during registration and it will be
100% refundable for any reason.

Skater's Refuge is the newly formed initiative to bring the world of skating to
you. Skater's Refuge is comprised of a team of skaters that were unsatisfied
with having to search the net and view multiple sites for products, information,
news, events, and other areas that make up a skater's every day life. Their
purpose is to provide to you a SINGLE online source for all of your skating
needs.


The following registration categories are available:

1. Full Event (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) with goodie bags & t-shirts
a. Empire member: $55
b. Non-Empire Member: $65
c. National Skate Patrol: $40 (Must marshal 3 skates)

2. Single Day (no goodie bag or event t-shirt)
a. Friday only: $30
b. Saturday only: $20
c. Sunday only: $20

Skyline Hotel

As of yesterday afternoon, the Skyline hotel was fully booked. The hotel has
opened 5 rooms it was keeping for its own reserve and allocated them to the Big
Apple Roll. These are absolutely the last rooms the hotel has, and at these
rates, you will not find a better deal in the city. If you need a room, please
reserve it immediately as these rooms will be gone within the next day or two.
