Big Apple Roll 2005 - Additional Hotel Rooms & Next Rollerblade dra   Message List

Dear in-line skater,

BIG APPLE ROLL WEEKEND JULY 29-31 2005

We just secured additional hotel rooms at the Skyline Hotel. Please call now to
make your reservations. Hotel information is available at our website
http://www.bigappleroll.org/ by clicking on the "hotel info" link on the right
side of the screen. Mention the Big Apple Roll when calling the Skyline Hotel
to receive our group discount rate.

We will be drawing the second of 3 pairs of Rollerblade skates this Monday from
one of our registrants, so be sure to register today for your chance to win at
http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1203733

The Inline Planet ( http://inlineplanet.com/Departments/events.html/ ) says: The
Big Apple Roll is a three-day weekend skate adventure through the splendors and
excitement of New York City. The tour cuts through the spectacular urban
canyons; lingers in the green jewel of Central Park; goes island hopping; and
even rolls through the electronic wilderness of Time Square! ... And that's just
what you'll do during daylight hours! ... If you register early, you'll also be
eligible to win one of three pairs of Lightning 6 Rollerblades, which the
company has donated to the event. (The Lightning 6s are fitness skates with four
90 mm wheels.)

The schedule is now posted on the website. Highlights of this event will
include a beach skate to historic Coney Island, a unique experience through
Central Park, Times Square, the Village, Little Italy, China Town and many other
NYC sites.

For all those who have attended in the past, you know the high quality of food
and services we provide. Every skate has a sag wagon with plenty of water. We
usually offer fruit and other foods along the skates and our dinner and picnics
themselves more than pay for the registration fee. We are happy to report that
we have not increased the fee and we expect to out-do previous; fees are:
Empire Members: $55
Non-Empire Members: $65
Day of: $85

Please pass this email along to our skating friends.
