INLINE FIGURE SKATES
TOE-STOP DANGER WARNING!
"If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem!"
1- DoubleLs Entry Level Sets
PROBLEM:
The toe-stops on the DoubleLs Entry Level Sets come loose
automatically without notice regardless of how much you tighten them
with the hex key!
This is not only an unpleasant but a dangerous surprise, susceptible
of causing serious accidents!
SOLUTION:
Remove the toe-stop and apply strong glue before screwing it on again!
The disadvantage of course is that it will no longer be readjustable
nor replaceable!

2- PICskates
PROBLEM:
The toe-stops on the PICframes wear out quickly, crack and even
break off in little chunks particularly when used on outdoor rinks
and coarse indoor surfaces such as cement & asphalt!
This is not only exasperating & expensive but also susceptible of
causing serious accidents!
The new PICs recently introduced:
"The new pics have the same good properties as the old except
that they have more rebound which is an advantage for jumps
as well as they are more cohesive which means they hold their
integrity better and are less likely to chunk off.
They are otherwise the same as the old. They cost the same.
The pic will be tight and thus turning it will still require some
oomph.
The pics hardness is slightly less than the old
and is more than made up for in the other properties."
John Petell
I have repeatedly read online.... and heard complaints from my pupils
that the PICs wear out much too soon on outdoor or coarse surfaces!
We need much HARDER ones!.... not SOFTER ones!
Softer/Stickier PICs are DANGEROUS
and useless outdoors particularly for spins!

SOLUTION:
Remove the toe-stops and replace them by small wheels screwed on
tight.
Some recommend soft "aggressive" wheels for use outdoors as a toe-
stop.
