I haven't tried it on gravel yet, but I think it would feel like a
bike on gravel and I don't like to ride my bike on gravel. I've gone
on some pretty rough pavement with a TRIKKE and it has done great
though.
Last year I tried an unsuccessful experiment on my Trail Skates.
I went to VAIL and took the Gondola to the top and tried to Skate-ski
down. It was impossible. The terrain was way too rocky and I gave
up, and took the Gondola back to the bottom and went on the flat bike
trails and had a good time and a good workout.
The TRIKKE would be fun in VAIL on flat bike trails I think, but if I
wanted to be really brave and go down a mountain, I'd rent one of
VAIL's mountain scooters with huge inflatable wheels. I don't really
think I'm brave enough for that though!
I think I saw TRIKKEs at Walmart and there are some decent deals on
Ebay.
Happy Moving on Wheels!
