We just recived our Custom V1 Plate we ordered through Jayson
Sutcliffe about a week ago. We got it mounted just in time for
Sherri to go to the International Roller Figure Skating Academy held
at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Her initial
comments of the V1 have all been positive. She almost immediately
(after a brief rocker adjustment time) started practicing Double
Flip and Double Loop and even made an attempt at Double Axle. These
are jumps she has already been landing or working in Quads but
always felt unsure about using the pic frame, She say's the frame
feels better and skates better than the pic did and is more like a
quad skate in feel because of the standard roller toe stop (also the
wheels that came on it are quite a bit harder than the wheels on a
pic), and with the rocker set to her comfort she is highly
satisfied. Already a few other inline skaters we know have been
asking about her V1 and we have been directing them to to Jaysons
web site http://www.jaysonsutcliffe.com. For the quad skater moving
into inlines it looks like the V1 has all the answers which include
a toe stop which you can change to your taste in hardness and bounce
and a rocker which you can adjust to your liking and does not
require you hunt for different size wheels to establish.
