My all-too-lame excuse is...winter. I don't know where you are, but here
we've had two months where the temp has rarely gotten above freezing and
there's been snow on the ground almost constantly.

I do most of my skating on the ice, but I really do want to master the PIC
frames. I have noticed that there's a lot more traction on pavement-try to
do a basic figure 8- so it's a bit more frustrating, and intimidating. I'm
cautious about doing toe loops on pavement but will go at an axel on the ice
with no hesitation. Ice is kinder to the bones than pavement.

If you want to e-mail back and forth till the forum picks up, that's cool.
