I love to skate! I put on my first pair of ice skates in 1964 (now
you all might be guessing my age!) and my first pair of in-line
skates in 1986 or 1987!

I began coaching figure skating in 1983, but it wasn't until the Pic
Skate was developed in 1995 that I felt confident on in-line skates.

Now, like I said yesterday, I can skate on anything, thanks to the
Pic Skate giving me confidence to do anything -- yes they are my
magic skates!

The love I have for in-line skating is one I just want to pass to
everyone!

That, I believe, is the most important qualification for a skating
instructor. If you love the sport, you must PASS IT ON.

Money should not be a motivator. I hope more are inspired to teach
and share their love for in-line figure skating.

These are just my thoughts this morning!

Happy Skating!

JO ANN
