Rules

WHEN POSTING: Anything and everything having to do with bicycle parts starting at the CR list cut-off of 1983 up till 2001: Campagnolo's introduction of ten speed. The hard and fast rule shall be that ANY part that is connected to a road, track cyclocross or touring bike is ON TOPIC. Any mention of off road use is discouraged, though innuendo is welcome. BMX is verboten (except for crosssover track parts and geared F-1 bikes).

Anything not bicycle related (politics, religon, beer) is grounds for immediate removal from the list. A hard and fast way to check would be to make sure that every email sent to the list includes either the word 'bicycle' or some foreign word that describes a functioning part of a bicycle that is in some ways attached to a pedal-able bicycle.As Dale on the CR list says (and I paraphrase) 'if you have doubt as to whether something is on topic or not, then it probably isn't'.

When posting please make the subject line germane to the contents of the email. And please put your name on the email.

WHEN SELLING: Please feel free to sell on this list. However, I ask that you please follow some rules:

1: Please follow the CR list rules in that your item must be described in full (photos are appreciated) and MUST INCLUDE A PRICE.

3:If you are inviting offers, please include 'o.b.o' after the price. This is permitted. Sales banter shall be kept off list.

4:Please list your items ONCE PER WEEK.

5:'Fishing expeditions' are ok ONLY WITH PHOTOS, for the time being.

WHEN BUYING: Please take appropriate precautions when buying on the list. This is a public list and anyone can join. Should your transaction go awry, THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

Sales disputes may not be carried out on list past ONE warning email from the aggrieved and ONE rebuttal.
