I want to thank everyone and I do mean EVERYONE who stuck around
helped tape score and clean up. It was a great day with everyone out the door
to enjoy the rest of a nice sunny Sunday.
Finishing early also allowed us to run the Chrono for those
who had an interest to measure the speed of their ammo.
As a reminder we are no longer providing pizza during the
match, so bring a snack, or make plans with the other shooters to run to the
market during the shoot.
John Plum will be back next month, and Lenny and Ken will
be running the match as co-Match directors, as weare sharing the duties and Pam
and I will be out of town.
Again thank you to everyone.

Due to the 3rd Sunday of April being a holiday, The April IDPA match at the Somerset County Fish and Game Protective Association range has been scheduled for 1130-1700, April 30
th, 2006.
We have moved the date with approval of the SCFGPA Executive board and approval of the membership at the April monthly meeting.
A grateful thank you goes out to the members in attendance for approving the rescheduling.
The match will be run in similar format to past matches.
I will try and post a course of file the week previous to allow you gamers out there to get on your game.
I would like to thank the guys who showed up for the work day today
(and that they scored a 40$ discount on next years membership is a
Bonus. to them as well)
We were able to move nearly all of our gear to the new storage unit
outside. Some of the larger items are going to stay indoors. This
will help with the set up some as we have no time constraint on match
days, if the weather is good we can have all the targets and props set
up in the side yard, ready to go and all it will take is to move them
indoors once 11:30 rolls around. (Less of an interruption to the folks
that are shooting Sunday mornings).
Other than that a reminder that our next match has been moved to
Sunday April 30th, Sign in starts at 11, hammer down at 12.

The Somerset Club has purchased us a shed to store our growing collection of props and targets (thanks Paul.. grin) Saturday April 8th at 10 am we will be moving the bulk of our stuff from the indoor storage area to the outdoor area. We could use all the help we can get to clean the new shed, and move the equipment.
Please contact me and let me know if you will be around to help out. The Eboard has taken some very encouraging steps to keep IDPA in Somerset, and to keep us happy as well, please show your support and join us Saturday for a little work.

I wish I could but I'll be at work. Please contact me should you need anything else.
ICORE perhaps, now that you're a recovering bottom feeder?
Cheers,
Julio

We have moved the date with approval of the SCFGPA Executive
board and approval of the membership at the April monthly meeting.

The April Somerset IDPA Shoot is not going to be held on April 16th as
it is Easter Sunday.
We are in contact with he board at the club to secure space later in
the month, hopefully on the 30th, for the April match.
I will keep everyone up todate as we get closer to the date.

I have changed the Message center on the IDPA NJ yahoo group.
Messages no longer need to be approved, and can be read by the
general public, so don't put your phone number up! (Replies to the
messages by non members are not allowed). You have the option to
get all your emails one at a time in a digest or only online. edit
your delivery options before you complain about getting too much or
not enough emails.
This is a very good forum for those who are new to the sport, to ask
questions, or advice.
Those of us who have been shooting IDPA for a while tend to be a bit
more relaxed during the shoots. And for a new shooter to approach
and ask questions may be intimidating or just make the new member
uncomfortable. No one like to be the one to ask the preverbal
stupid question. but trust me everyone has been new at one point
or another.
So don't be shy,
Speak up and ask IDPA related questions.
Other questions or posts that are not directly related to IDPA,
Shooting or the like will be deleted. (This means no political,
sexual, or other inappropriate posts will be allowed to stay.
Every IDPA shooter from Somerset that I have an address for has been
invited, you are able to invite other shooters as well. Until the
members who are interested in shooting join the group not everyone
will get your note. Also , this is a moderated group, this means that
I and the other moderators that I will appoint, must approve all
messages before they post here, or get sent out. (this is to keep the
messages on topic, and not to stray into things that are not germane. )
Also, when you want to email everyone in the group, a note to
IDPANJ@YAHOOGROUPS.COM will send it, after I approve it out it goes,
along with a posting on the groups website.
