As I mentioned at the beginning of the Somerset February IDPA match, the March event will be a classifier.  I will be sending out an email with

 

V E R Y     S P E C I F I C  Instructions on how you can sign up to shoot the March classifier, failing to follow the instructions may hinder your reservation/slot to shoot the classifier.

 

The April Somerset Match will not be held, the entire cadre of Safety Officers needed to run a match at the Somerset Range will be working as SOs at the New Jersey State Match, or shooting in the competition. 

 

This means if you want to shoot the weekend of 19 April, You need to do two things:

 

1. Shoot he classifier in march
2. Sign up for the NJ State match.

 

Do not be intimidated by the fact that this is a “State Match”  the skills you have been working on at our monthly matches will help you be successful at this event.

 

The only difference for a state match and a club level match is the course of fire has to be approved by IDPA.   Traditionally the Match Director will put much more thought and the staff much more work in construction of the  stages than a club level match but there is no reason that ANY classified shooter can not come out shoot and have fun.
