Anyone who has a cast or 2pc foil assembly that's hanging around, I can use one.  Pay cash or trade product.  Your call.
Thanks guys.

Most of the Nationals photos are now up. In a few days Dr Dave will be uploading the action shots taken from shore, pickup boats and everywhere else around the lake.

Probably the most fun I have ever had at Nationals. Thanks to Todd and Alison for putting on a great tourney. Party at the Dinkels was a blast... MMMMMM Red Stag (Black Cherry Jim Beam). Never thought I would end up playing the clothes line attached to a broom stick and wash tub! Maybe it was the Beam but I really think I added to Rob and Darren's dads songs! I never thought Darren would actually make it out of bed at 5:30 to shoot photos after going to bed after 3. Chad and Jay made it out for the morning shoot with about 1 hour of sleep.

Also had the best egg roll of my life at Dr Daves place, THANK YOU CRYSTAL! All the food was incredible but those egg rolls...

Photos for each division are grouped by rider and are in the order they placed overall in their division. When you click on a thumbnail and a photo appears on the right, you can see the riders place and name in the caption below.

When viewing the galleries you can do the following (Must have the image selected so it appears to the right of the thumbnails)
- Leave comments on individual images - Look for the comment button on lower left of screen.
- Share a link to an image by using the Share button in the upper right corner of the screen.

Foiltech make a rear wing that will bolt directly onto your tbar with no modifications.
Contact me if you are interested.

Hi All,

I am looking to upgrade the rear wing on my B-39 tbar.  Currently have the stock bat rear, so if anyone has a used Extreme, FoilTech, or N2O wing that they are looking to sell for a reasonable price let me know.  Hoping to not have to do a keel mod but will consider if have to.

Thanks!

Michael

Hey MIchael,
I believe that you would need to modify the B39 t-bar in order to use any of those rear wings. Not the keel, but the curved surface where the rear wing is bolted.

The chatter is awfully quiet this year.  Not much talk on the list.  Are you all still alive?

Just a few words of thanks to all the folks who travelled many miles to get to the Nationals.  A special thanks to Jim Chismar, who spent his weekend in air-conditioning to be sure all the scores were tabulated.  We didn't want to see him get a sunburn so we put him to work indoors and he did so cheerfully.  Also my personal thanks again to Jim and Cayce, who may show you the pictures.  Also to all who rode as judges, thanks.  Rarely are the judges appreciated and I hope you didn't get too burned.  Farrell and family from BC, Canada, I hope the ride home was safe and that I hope you enjoyed the tropics.

Looking forward to next year, a better economy, and more riders!

Well its 24 hours since Nationals ended.  With a bang.  Thunder and lightning all evening but a good day of riding.  Thanks to everybody who traveled to Northern Colorado to make this happen.  For those of you who didn't travel, well start planning for next year.  You missed good parties, good riding, good weather, and a good time.  We had fuzzy water, and a toenail painting contest (don't ask.  Dave Hebert won, I think, but it was not something I wanted to watch.  Ask Rich about his eye)You just had to be there.  Everybody got home today.  KT is okay, after the king of crash ended the day Sunday in his own inimical style.  Attached is just one of the great flights we saw Sun.  See you next year on the fuzzy water......

Hi,
my first post to this group.
I have been skiing, kneeboarding & wakeboarding for years ... and now would like
to have a go at 'the chair'

This may be a frequent Q, but anybody got a 2nd hand one for sale or know of one
...
Due to the high cost, I would like to start with a 2nd hand unit and if I take
to it (or it to me) I would then move up next season.

So maybe somebody has started out and now going for a newer model and wants to
sell on a starter item ??

I am in teh UK ... so would prefer somebody in Europe .... but failing that if I
can get a good deal I'd buy in US (I can supply a US address to ship it to)

So anybody want to help out a starter ... ?

Hi y'all, I know I've been away from here for awhile - but know that I've missed you! I'm traveling up to Oklahoma City right now and have some time to goof off this weekend. I'd love to find a boat and hydrofoil to help fill that time - I'm SOOOO tired of being HOT already this year and have been stuck working far from the nice cool mountains of N. GA I moved to so I could get away from this kind of misery...

I'm happy to provide fuel, food, boat launching and cleaning help as well as sloppy foilin', hard-crashing entertainment for the privilage to hang out with you. BTW, lately my best trick is a combo - jump to crash!! I haven't been on my foil much in last year or so - unfortunately.

I'll be in OKC for about a week, then to Kansas City for a couple weeks - so if ya know someone in either of those places I can entertain (read: bug), pass my contact info along to them!

I just joined the group when my girlfriend suggested it to me. I never thought there would be someting like this, this is awesome. Ive been riding for 3-4 years. I can jump pretty well and land 90% of them, prally 2 years ago i started to try rolls outside of the wake and never had any luck landing them. Most of the time i would over rotate. last year i bought movies to teach me. i then began trying wake rolls, but same bad luck over rotating. Ive watched the videos numerous times the main thing they say is spot your landing. maybe its just me but the flip seems to happen to fast for me to be spotting the water again before the ski is fully around. Hopeing someone will help me. I live in South Jersey and do most riding in mays landing if anyone in the area would be interested in meeting me, I would also come to you if maybe your in delaware or eastern PA. If anyone thinks they can explain it through email or telephone it would be a great help as well. Please Help

Was having a great weekend with one good run after another. Sunday morning
went to pop an off-side wake roll, brain-farted mid air and looked the wrong
way, resulting in a boring, run-of-the-mill crash.

Or so I thought... When my wife brought the boat around she hollered, "Do
you have the rope"? Turns out I'd somehow managed wrap it around the t-bar
on take-off (or maybe when I let go mid-spin when it became dreadfully
obvious it was time to 'eject'?). The CINCH RELEASE was set for maximimum
(full velcro connection) and I never felt a thing...which I'm happy to
report, cuz the alternative would have been fugly. THANKS LONNIE!

My rope and Foil Tech T-bar (which I LOVE) didn't fare as well. About 6
inches of the leading edge of the T-bar was folded over on itself about 1/16
inch (right in the middle) and it had sliced clean through one of the thick
handle-triangle ropes (and the plastic sleave it was encased in!)

Summary: you don't need to be doing BNCs to benefit from a trick
release...once in a while even the most basic mundane trick can misfire.

obvious it was time to 'eject'?).

I just went through some old voice mails on my phone and bam! There was my guy who bought the used G-38. So the search is off. Thank you for your attention.

BTW, if you get a chance to see the Singing and Dancing show that also has some water skiing in it out in San Antonio, be sure to say hey to the performers afterwards. Both the on and off the water entertainers are a fantastic bunch, having spent some time at Howl at the Moon down on the Riverwalk. Of coarse the Viva show was fantastic, with one of the performers performing a Quad front flip brandy out off the Russian swing in the show. Awesome job Jimmy! He is dating one of the skiers and we hung out a bit.

I also was able to spend some time with Chuck and Michele Gleason, the owners of Barefoot Central and Eagle Sports, and one of my sponsors. Look for some of their products at Nationals, such as Board Shorts, Vests, and possibly some other items of interest.

Any way, back from some traveling and getting ready for Nationals. If anyone out there needs any parts or complete Sky skis, keep me in mind. If it is sold, I can usually get it. Keep your eyes open for used foils as well. If you can't sell it, call me up. I may be able to find a buyer for you.

Take care, and hope your 4th was as good as mine.

Hi everyone!
10 days till Nationals begins.
It's looking to be a load of fun with people gathering from all over the U.S.
and 1 from Germany.

The schedule will be similar to last year.

Each day will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a rider meeting If you compete that day,
you will need to be at the meeting.

Please make sure to go to usawaterski.org and get your registration done for
Nationals. You will need to make certain your membership is paid with usa
waterski well before the event. If I have not received the confirmation of your
membership from usa waterski, you will be paying your membership fee again.
Same goes for registration so make sure to pay it via paypal or mail it well
before the event. Again, if I have not received confirmation or have your
registration fee in hand, you will have to pay again at the event. There are no
exceptions. When you register online at USA Waterski, you will have the option
to pay via paypal. I will receive notification when your payment is made.
Fees are the same this year. 50 per event or 150 for all three. Membership to
USA Waterski is at the grassroots level of $35.00.

Friday night will be a dinner at Austin's Homestead and will feature "Who
Brought Larry" a very popular local cover band, as well as our very own, Bobby
Earl. The dinner is $10.00 for each person. You are welcome to bring anyone
you like, please make sure to let me know if you will be coming so we'll have a
head count. Also, you will pay for your dinner(s) when you come to the
registration booth. It promises to be a great night!

A couple of our riders will be hosting parties at their homes. One on Thursday
night and one on Saturday night. Don't miss these!

Nationals will be a fantastic event this year, thanks to our sponsors. Make
certain to let them know how much you appreciate them!
