Where:           Posey Lake, Michigan – 3.5 miles east of the small town of Hudson, MI

                      Don Hendershot’s Cottage located in the Irish Hills Area of Southeast  MI

                      Address:  666 Valentine Lane, Hudson, MI  49247

                        12 miles west of Adrian, MI

                        28 miles south of Jackson, MI

                        45 miles northwest of Toledo, OH

                        65 miles southwest of Detroit, MI

                        75 miles northeast of Fort Wayne, IN

                        22 miles north of the Ohio Turnpike – Use Exit #25

Cost:                $75 Registration Fee – Covers gas and event expenses

$40 Registration Fee – If you come for one day only

Registration fee is for riders only – no cost for non-riders

NOTE:  This fly-in does not hold a raffle or sell T-shirts

so the registration fees are the only source of funds to cover

gas and other event expenses.

This years Fly-in is sanctioned by USA Waterski

All RIDERS MUST BE A USA WATERSKI MEMBER or

TEMPORARY EVENT MEMBERSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR $10

Boats:               Please e-mail me if you can to bring a boat.  Event Registration Fee

is waived for the boat owner.  Boat Owner will need to provide a copy

of Proof of Liability Coverage - minimum of 500K liability coverage. 

USA Waterski needs to be named as an additional insured. 

Meals:              Lunch will be available at the cottage each day for $5 – Nothing fancy, burgers, hot dogs, cold cuts etc.  Breakfast and evening meals will be on your own at nearby restaurants.  Please bring your own beverages/coolers.

Lawn Chairs:    Please bring folding chairs/blankets

Directions:         From I-94 and points north, take I-94 to Jackson, MI

                        Take Exit 142 and follow US 127 south for 28 miles to Beecher Road

                        (If you reach the McDonalds in Hudson, you’ve gone too far)

                                Turn left and follow Beecher Road east for 3.5 miles

                        Turn left onto Posey Lake Highway

                        Follow Posey Lake Highway north for 1/2 mile

                        At this point, Posey Lake Highway makes a sharp turn to the right

                        Go straight at this point and you will be on Valentine Lane

                        Valentine Lane is a gravel private road – 10 mph please

                        Cottage is located ½ mile in on Valentine Lane – Gray w/ flat black roof

                        From the Ohio Turnpike (I-80/I-90) and points south

                        Take Exit 25 and follow Route 66 north to small town of Fayette, OH

                        Turn left onto US 20 west.  Follow US 20 for 1.5 miles to US 127

                        Turn right onto US 127 north and follow it for 12.5 miles to Hudson, MI

                        (At the traffic light in Hudson, there will be a McDonalds on your right)

                        Continue on US 127 north for 2 additional miles to Beecher Road

                        Turn right and follow Beecher Road east for 3.5 miles

                        Turn left onto Posey Lake Highway

                        Follow Posey Lake Highway north for 1/2 mile

                        At this point, Posey Lake Highway makes a sharp turn to the right

                        Go straight at this point and you will be on Valentine Lane

                        Valentine Lane is a gravel private road – 10 mph please

                        Cottage is located ½ mile in on Valentine Lane – Gray w/ flat black roof

Directions to Adrian Motels: 

The Holiday Inn Express and the Super 8 Motel are located on the southwest side of Adrian, MI near the intersection of M52 and US 223. 

From the Ohio Turnpike, take Exit 39 and follow Route 109 north for 8.5 miles into Michigan.  Once you cross into Michigan, the road becomes M52.  Follow M52 north for an additional 11 miles to US 223.  Turn left onto US 223 and the motels will be on the left.

From I-94, take Exit 159 and follow Route M-52 south for 31 miles into Adrian until you reach the intersection of US 223, which is on the south side of Adrian.  Turn right onto US 223 and the motels will be on the left.

Directions from Adrian Motels to Posey Lake: 

Turn left out of parking lots and follow US 223 for 1.5 miles to the first traffic light.  Turn left and follow the signs to M-34.  You will pass through a small industrial park and then come to another stop light.  Turn right onto M-34/Beecher Road.  Follow M-34/Beecher Road west for 5 miles.  At this point, M-34 makes a sharp turn to the left.  Go straight at this point and continue on Beecher Road.  There is a party store at the point where M-34 makes a sharp turn to the left and Beecher Road continues straight.  Continue on Beecher Road west for 7 additional miles to Posey Lake Highway.  Turn right onto Posey Lake Highway and follow Posey Lake Highway north for ½ mile.  At this point, Posey Lake Highway makes a sharp turn to the right.  Go straight at this point and you will be on Valentine Lane, which is a gravel private road – 10 mph please.  Cottage is located ½ mile in on Valentine Lane – Gray with flat black roof.
