We're going to have our HumpFreeze meeting Tuesday night at 8 p.m. at my place. That should give the Jines plenty of time after practice. 

The meeting is open to ALL interested players. We'll mostly be gathering and sharing information about the season. After the meeting, we'll limit team e-mails to the HumpFreeze listserv, so sorry for spamming everyone's inboxes. 

Returning players can nominate captains at the meeting. They can also nominate players before the meeting via e-mail. Here's an example:

I'm nominating Shakey. He's a solid player with tons of experience. He's got a firm grasp on strategy and field sense. More importantly, he gets along with everyone on and off the field and keeps a nice balance of fun and competitiveness. When things got hectic last summer, Shakey was the one to calm our nerves and remind us why we play in the first place.
