Subject: RE: Halawa Tournament, Sunday 4/15
The Halawa tournament will be held this Sunday, 4/15 at the Halawa District Park Gym from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Kata and Weapons competition will be held in the morning and sparring will commence following a break for lunch. Those of you that are planning on competing in the sparring competition should be there before noon to fill out the application and warm up.
Kenny broke his hand during practice the other week but will be at the tournament. It is sponsored by Leeward Kenpo as it is their annual tournament. He will most likely also compete in one or more categories. If you are not competing please come and be a spectator to watch the competitors at their best.
