Please forward this email to your SUMMER swim team's email list! Now's our chance to speak up for a facility (50-Meter Pool) to support a public HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMING PROGRAM and a variety of other swim/aquatics programs that are completely void, or vastly under-serving county demand for aquatics offerings. Again, please forward to your SUMMER swim team manager or webmaster -- or any other county resident interested in improved aquatics offerings in Howard County.
--------------
The message BELOW is reprinted from Howard County's Dept. of Rec and Parks' homepage. Rec & Parks is seeking public input on its PRELIMINARY presentation of its Aquatic Feasibility Study. We encourage county residents who are aquatics users to provide input. The link for the presentation, e-mail and snail mail addresses are printed below. The FINAL version of the Aquatic Feasibility Study is due out in the fall, most likely in September, so now's your chance to bend the county's ear on possibly the first-ever 50-Meter Pool in Howard County! The 4 options offered in the presentation can be modified (in terms of features and amenities) based on public input, so now's your opportunity to let county officials know what type of features and amenities are needed in Howard County aquatics offerings:
