Hi Rick,
I downloaded the video and it works great!
The instruction is straigh forward, easy to understand, and takes
you step by step from beginning to end on how to prepare your mind
and composure, move correctly, correct posture, and utilize power in
strikes.
The deep breathing excersizes also have imeasurable benefits to the
mind and body, helping the student to live a longer, healthier life,
and reminds us all to relax and avoid tense and rigid movements,
which can wear a student out all too quickly.
It's not too difficult or too fast paced which can lose the viewer
or cause them to miss important points, and this video shows that
you care about the practitioner and certainly know what you're
talking about.
A beginner could benefit from this immensely, and an intermediate
student could polish up their understanding and correct that which
they have forgotten. Even instructors can learn from this in their
own approach!
Even if one is not involved with the martial arts but wants to learn
how to defend themselves enough to have a fair chance, this will
help!
For those who practice the material on the video regularly, they can
go on to develop a fearless and confident understanding that they
don't have to be a victim.
I want to thank you for making this video, and for sharing your
knowledge.
Kurokawa Arashi, Ninjutsu.
PS. On another note, have you ever thought about seminars and guest
speaking? With your knowledge and experience, as well as talent for
speaking easily to the listener, you may have something there.
I haven't shown anyone this video, I'd like them to buy it for
themselves to appreciate it even more. And, I'd like to promote it
among my students and friends, and maybe send more than a few people
in your direction to check out even more of your great books and
videos. This is golden! Thanks!
