This group is for WOMEN ONLY, primarily over age 40, to play non-competitive, recreational softball.

THIS IS NOT A LEAGUE, but a group of women who want to play softball for fun, with like aged women, without getting injured.
Any skill level is welcome.

Players are not committed to play every game, only the ones they wish to play in.

We play 'pick-up' games, using this Yahoo Group to announce potential games and poll members for availability to play.

Membership is approved by a moderator.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:

Any member can set up a poll for a game at their desired location and time.

That member will:

1. Reserve a softball field.

2.Set up a poll on the HAS-BIANS Yahoo Group announcing the field location, date and time of the proposed game. To set up the poll, click on "POLL" in the menu to the left and Yahoo will guide you through the process.

3. Once enough players sign up for a game, the game is officially 'ON'. You decide how many players is "enough".

4.If not enough players respond to the poll before it closes, there will
be NO GAME.

You must respond to a poll in order to let others know that you are
commited to playing the particular game.

5. Show up at the designated field before game time, decide on 2 Team
Captains who will choose players and then..... "PLAY BALL!"
Just like you used to do on the playground.

6. If not enough players show up to have a game, we can still gather to
play catch or practice.
