This group and its associated website are for collectors and shooters of historic military miniature-calibre (caliber) training rifles and classic small-bore target rifles. It is intended mainly, but not exclusively, to engender interest in, and shooting with, British and Commonwealth rifles, and notably rifles of BSA manufacture (the Birmingham Small Arms Company), as well as to provide a forum and research facility for all enthusiasts; particularly those shooting in the HARC - Miniature-calibre Rifle Leagues.

Since completion of the 2007-08 Winter season the Leagues have been administered independently of the website which controls this forum. However, they each remain technically under the aegis of the U.K. N.R.A. Historic Arms Resource Centre, with the N.S.R.A. providing both assistance and subsidy of prize medals.
