The Gulf Coast Gallopin' Gals are horse lovin' women located in the Gulf Coast area of Texas. We formed this group in October 2006 so women like ourselves (over 21), who live in the Gulf Coast area, could get acquainted, share our experiences and knowledge, and hook up for rides. Trailriding and camping with our horses are just some of the activities we enjoy. Many favorite places include local beaches, ranches and state parks. We are always seeking new spots to camp for a weekend, or just enjoy a day ride. Family and friends are welcome on most rides.

Members are encouraged to participate in the benefits this board has to offer. Let’s ask questions and share our knowledge about horse health care, breeding, training, organized ranch rides, clinics, playdays, horse shows, etc.

*Please be aware that participation is mandatory--posting the occassional message on the board, getting to know the other members, meeting up to ride with some of us, or joining in other activities we sometimes offer. Our members know each other, ride together, camp together, and discuss topics related to our favorite animal. Our rules do not allow lurkers, but we would love to meet new horsey gals in our area!

Let's always keep in mind that opinions differ to a large degree in the horse industry, and there is typically more than one way to achieve a desired result. Our members should state opinions nicely, without attacking, criticizing or venting. And be able to 'agree to disagree' with grace.

We have simple and fair rules, which will be shared upon membership approval.
