Sorry, I can not help you about packing the GT5, I have a GTO that I
assembled but have not tried packing yet.

The good news is AmTrac from Seattle (actually Vancouver BC) to Eugene OR
should be able to accept your reassembled trike. That run does have bike
racks in the baggage car. The run to CA requires bikes to be packaged.
So make certain you get the Cascades and not the Starlighter if you plan
to ride in the Seattle area too. I have not yet tried my trike on the
train and am very interested in your experience IF you do try it
reassembled.

Becuase of the current economic situation I maybe Flying not driving. I have never had to pack-up the trike for travel, what do I need? I'm thinking of Flying...

... Too bad it's not a GTO, those break down to fit in two suitcases. And the instructions are readily available. The fold itself is to get it in a car trunk....
