The BionX power assist packages are made by a firm in Quebec Canada and
consist of 4 main components: rear hub brushless motor mounted in a
wheel, cable harness with battery mounting track, battery unit with
separate charging unit, and a controller.

As explained in my previous message it does work well for POWER ASSIST on
our trikes. No electric unit that I know of has enough power to furnish
full time power drive. BionX markets 4 units to dealers, 2 motor power
sizes and 2 battery options.

As Jim S. mentioned, the 350 watt motor and Lithium Ion battery is the
top of the line presently and works. One can check out the web site at
