My son, Kenny started riding recumbents when he was 15 on a Vision
R40, but did not enjoying riding with us much until we got a
Greenspeed GTO for my sons to ride. Kenny is now 20 and professional
bike mechanic at West County Revolution in Sebastopol, CA. He has
decided to ride the Greenspeed GTO in the Aids/LifeCycle, a 545-mile,
San Francisco to LA, fund raiser to help in the fight against HIV and
AIDS. He has promised to raise a minimum of $2,500 to support this
effort. If you would like to help you can donate on-line by going to
the following website
www.aidslifecycle.org
When you visit the above website, look in the left column and
select "Make a Donation." Type in Kenny's participant number 2420,
and click on "Search for Participant." Then click on Kenny's name,
Kenneth Pillard, and follow the easy steps to pay by credit card.
If you want to donate by snail mail please contact me and I will send
you a form you can print and complete and send with your donation.
Donations after May 1 will help in fight against HIV and AIDS, but
will not be credited toward the $2500 Kenny has promised to raise.
All donations are tax-deductible and all donors will receive a letter
of acknowledgement for tax purposes.
Thanks for your consideration,

PS: If the GTO survives the ride to LA, I will see some of you on the
trikes only ride in Idaho June 29 to July 2, 2008 where it will be my
turn for a trike ride :-)
