Ditto Gill.
The ride is not a 5 star trip, for that you don’t peddle,
you get driven.
The ride was fantastic, and Paul who spent a night or two
sleeping under tables, etc has again organized the event. Good for you.
The ride was fantastic.
Enjoy it Lyn.

Paul

If you are
the kind of person who has to have every thing you want at the exact moment
that you want it, then I suggest you do us all a favour and pass on this trip.
My husband and I did this ride last year and it was the most fun thing we have
ever done. Part of the charm was meeting people in the queue at the showers and
experiencing the times when the water was hot, cold or not there at all. So
what, you come back later. Some of my best showers took place at 9pm with tons
of hot water, some of them were at 5 with cold water. It’s all part of
the fun. The only thing that bugged me was that some of people did not leave
the facilities as they expected to find them, which was certainly not the
fault of the organizers. Last year’s trip was a big learning experience
for everyone and despite a few (and I mean very few) hiccups a great time was
had by all except for a few chronic moaners who probably wouldn’t be happy
anywhere. Make up your mind, do you usually look on the bright side? Then come
along and have a fabulous time.

Hi Guys
I did not
do the ride last year but I’m so keen to do it this year. What is putting
me off is that some people who did do it said that the queues for showers and
toilets were really long and there was no hot water. Is this true and will
something be done to rectify this problem this year?

Hi Peter,
Not sure why you were
unable to get on – we haven’t had reports from other. We
ordered the bikes overnight and as usual ordered a few extra so can you please
give me or the office a call and we shall see if we can work something out
– love to support the process of handing the bike on too.

Hi
I
have been unable to access the internet to register for the GWCBR. Is it
too late to register for the free bike option and if not how can I do so??
I
did the ride last year and want to do so again this year. I have promised
the free bike to my gardener to encourage him to get into bicycling and hope I
will still be able to get the free bike.
Tnx
Peter
