Yep, I'm off to Michigan for the N24C for the 3rd time, and I'm NOT
stopping in the middle of the night for a nap, no matter how crappy I
feel.  It is so disappointing when I consider that I have done 400 km
brevets in less time than that, yet I've only hit 202 miles, twice.  If
anyone needs a ride from the Toronto area, I just purchased a 1999
Grand Caravan, which should have enough room for 2 or 3 guests, plus
myslef.

My other 2006 plans are the "That Which Does Not Kill Us...." in
California late Aug, and the Last Chance 1200 km in Colorado in
September.

Take care, Paul Dicks, C-Kap 1206

I don't think I'll need a ride to Michigan but we should arrange to meet at the event and ride together if we have similar goals. I covered just over 300...

There is a link on the Ultra Cycling web site; or just type National 24 Hour Challenge into a search engine. It's a great event, well crewed, and friendly....

Thanks for the info and I did check out the site. After checking the results from other years, it should not be a problem to do 400 miles in a 24 hour time...
