to shirl;
the only reason i wanted to run a weekend tour was because i was slightly pissed-off that in the middle of a recession in ontario, u guys decided to spend your $ in new york state???
as to point #2 in preference; if not enuff gcbt members show up, ESR can make up the slack.
as for average of 27 or 30kph, that would be their slow group; fast at 40 to 45 kph.
plz pass it on, thx

Hi Shirl,
"ESR" seems to be "East Side Riders", who seem to be a speedy bunch
(your choice of 30 kph or 27 kph average in a group).
If Jeff actually contacts you, I would suggest fending him off with the
following points:
1) many thanks for your interest, etc.
2) preference is given to ride organizers who are active members of GCBT
3) club members seem to prefer rides with hills
If you would rather not deal with that, you can forward any message from
him to me and I will respond (after running a draft by you, before sending).
