You are so right about the MS Ride being an awesome weekend.  In addition to how well the participants are looked after, it's amazing to see people of all ages (from children to seniors) & riding levels coming together for this worthwhile cause. 
 
Carl:  Ward, Al & I will be participating 2008 & volunteering as Tour Leaders again this year.

Hi Carl and fellow cycling enthusiasts:

 

Our family of 4 has already registered for the Grand Bend to London ride in July.  Last year was our first time participating (3 of us were riders and my oldest daughter volunteered all weekend) and it was an awesome experience.  We were treated so well – lots of support, great and abundant food, excellent accommodations, and just the thrill of being a part of something so big and so worthwhile.  I strongly recommend it … it’s a great event for everyone, but it especially caters to families.  Where else can you get a weekend of cycling, all the food you can eat, clean, spacious and comfortable accomodations … and the opportunity to cycle with Carl Freeland! … for just $30.  The fundraising effort to raise a minimum of $200 is well worth it!

Hi Folks:
Hope your winter has been pleasant and everyone is ready to get on the
bike again. This is a reminder that the "MS" bike tour is on again. If
you would like to join our team you may register on line or send in a
registration form. Last year we had 10 members on our team "GCBT" and
raised just short of 10000 dollars. (thanks to a couple of special
people on our team).
If you were on the team or were on another team (10 other gcbt
members) please sign up again.
Those people that rode in the previous year can sign up a guest for
free (no registration fee) still need to raise the $200.00.
It would be great to double our number to this event.
It is an amazing weekend. Anyone who has previously ridden in this
event can vouch for the weekend.
IF YOU SIGN UP BEFORE MARCH THE 1ST. THE COST IS $30.00 RATHER THAN
$40.00 AFTER MARCH THE FIRST.
