In an attempt to make the winter go faster, get our bike fixes in,
and to stay ahead of John, and catch up to Petey and Peter, some of
your fellow GCBT addicts are looking at driving down to Virginia or
North Carolina over the New Year's Day long weekend for some
biking.
Thanks to Alan's posting about Bikely.com I've found some good
looking rides in Chapel Hill and Durham N.C. I don't know how good
they really are, and I'm wondering if anyone has any good rides
they've been on 8-12 hrs drive south of Buffalo. Maybe in
Virginia? Blue Ridge Mountains??
We're not asking for much - just temperatures above 10c, sunny,
hilly, scenic and a good party place for New Year's Eve. ;) If
anyone has connections, or has some good biking suggestions in that
area, I'd love to hear from you.
If you're interested in riding with us, send me an email.
Thanks for reading.
Merry Christmas everyone, and happy and safe riding in 2007!
