Greater Niagara Circle
The Welland Canals Trail, the Friendship Trail , the Niagara River Recreational Trail and the Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail make up this loop. There are still gaps in the trail that require some road cycling but it is an interesting trip if you have a full day to spend on your bike. Construction is being coordinated by the Welland Canals Parkway and Trails Steering Committee of the Regional Municipality of Niagara (140 km)

Hamilton to Brantford Rail Trail
The Hamilton to Brantford Rail-Trail is Ontario's first entirely off-road, interurban hiking and biking trail. The Hamilton Region Conservation Authority owns and maintains the trail from Hamilton to Jerseyville, and the Grand River Conservation Authority owns and maintains the trail from Jerseyville to Brantford. Trail users can enjoy 32 kilometres (20 miles) of completely resurfaced trail on the abandoned roadbed of the Toronto, Hamilton and Buffalo Railway (TH&B)

Upper Canada Heritage Trail (Niagara)
This is a 14 km long converted rail line in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The southern trailhead (with small parking lot) is on York Road, just east of its intersection with Concession 2. The northern trailhead is in the Old Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, on John Street east of its intersection with King Street. At this point there is a direct link to the Waterfront Trail connecting to the Niagara River Recreation Trail.

Waterfront Trail (Lake Ontario)
Once complete, it will stretch 650 kilometers along the shore of Lake Ontario, from Niagara-on-the-Lake to Gananoque. With 350 kilometers already completed, the Waterfront Trail represents an important step towards bringing the vision of a regenerated waterfront closer to reality.
