NEWS - Two referees for NRL matches - Two referees on the field at the same time is the NRL's best chance to attack grapple tackles and other illegal wrestling holds that have blighted the game in recent years. The shock change, set to be introduced next season, will also lead to better decision-making and more consistent rulings.

We can prove the critics wrong - James Graham - Super League Man of Steel James Graham is ready to answer England's call in Saturday's World Cup semi-final against New Zealand at Suncorp Stadium. The St Helens prop was wrapped in cotton wool when the sides met in their final pool match last Saturday and, although coach Tony Smith has yet to finalise his line-up, Graham will be expected to lead England's bid for a place in the World Cup final.

RLEF Development Course in Morocco - Moroccan Rugby League took a significant step forward over the weekend following the staging of a Level One Coaching Course in the eastern resort city of Oujda. Over 20 participants, all involved in university sports, attended the two-day qualification at Oujda University which was run by Rugby League European Federation Coaching Coordinator Karl Harrison.

Mat Gardner signs for Harlequins Rugby League - Harlequins Rugby League is delighted to announce the signing of winger, Mat Gardner from Salford City Reds. Gardner, 23, made his Super League debut for Huddersfield Giants in 2006 and enjoyed a memorable first season, scoring a hat trick against Les Catalans. After a second season with Huddersfield he moved to Salford City Reds, before deciding on a move to the Capital.
