After an impressive first two seasons, Kent Ravens rugby league club will be looking to add to their 10 trophies and titles when their 2006 season kicks off with training starting on February 15 for the men's set-up, March 1 for the women's and then April 13 for all the youth teams at their Eltham Palace Road ground.
The men's first team have been promoted in the National Rugby League Conference, so this campaign should be more difficult for the Ravens, who are looking to strengthen their player base and amount of volunteers for the upcoming season.
Club Chairman Alan Bacon said: "The club has always based itself as a family club that is made of lots of people from different backgrounds including experienced rugby league players, local rugby union players and many that have not even seen a rugby game before. But it's this mix that makes this great Club atmosphere at the Ravens."
He added: "There is great potential for all levels in the Kent Ravens. Even though the men's first team is now in a high league, everyone is excited about the 2006 season."

Even temperatures soaring into the mid forties couldn't dull the enthusiasm of thousands of school kids or the 100 NRL players taking part in the Qantas Community Carnival across NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
Bathurst hit 45 degrees and most other areas were above 40 but it didn't stop Craig Stapleton and Mark O'Halloran from the Panthers burning a sedate lap of Mt Panorama after hosting a clinic for 250 kids.
Rather than asking about his efforts in the car, the children just wanted to know how big Mark's muscles were? "Not big enough," came the reply.
In Northern Victoria and Southern NSW the Melbourne Storm contingent completed a marathon of school visits clocking up 32 across Wangaratta, Lavington, Walla Walla and Albury.
Not only did the Storm discover there are plenty of knowledgeable Rugby League fans in the area but they also unearthed a new 'pin up boy' as teenage rookie recruit Anthony Perkins from Roma found himself the centre of attention.
Perkins and the likes of Robbie Kearns, Jamie Feeney, Nathan Friend and Jeremy Smith conducted skills clinics on local Aussie Rules fields and found the locals were more than interested in the State of Origin which heads to Melbourne for game three this year.
In Taree, the Manly Sea Eagles won plenty of admirers as the players themselves led the way at last night's fund raiser.
Chris Hicks, Brett Stewart, Steve Menzies and Matt Orford (who at one stage bid against himself to push up the price) all dug deep to secure prizes which included a Taree Wild Cats jumper, a pool cue and a Sony Play Station.
With the players help the night raised over $5,000 for the local Rugby League.
Players have encountered schools covered in streamers and assemblies singing Manly team songs.
"I've been on a lot of promotions over the years but the enthusiasm and the hospitality has been really special.
"Oxley Island public school was just amazing, decked out in balloons and streamers.
"The enthusiasm out here really makes you want to get out and play," Menzies said.
Bulldogs and NSW forward Willie Mason is one who was a little nervous heading into the heart of Maroons territory in Roma.
Along with Andrew Ryan, coach Steve Folkes and the rest of the Bulldogs contingent he was amazed at the amount of Bulldogs merchandise that has greeted them.
"It was a really special welcome, it was inspiring," Mason said.
Despite encountering temperatures of 42 degrees the players actually increased the number of activities by adding extra visits in the area.
"We just couldn't believe the number of Bulldog fans that were here and the guys just wanted to return the enthusiasm," Andrew Ryan explained.
The Parramatta Eels also extended themselves today with PJ Marsh joining high school students in Baralaba for a beep test in the 42 degree heat, his pre-season fitness work paid off as he finished last man standing.
The Eels were also the stars of the show at a very successful fundraising evening in Biloela last night that saw the town of 5,500 raise more than $7000 for local Rugby League.
Day three of the Qantas Community Carnival continues today.

"I believe all clubs and coaches at all levels should have a copy of RLCM Books as a coaching resource" Wayne Bennett - Brisbane Broncos
Football Parents, Support, Smiles and Sporting Success.
By Wayne Goldsmith
Continued from Thursday
These are the most common questions asked by sporting parents:
QUESTION 1:
How many times should a child train each week?
This is without doubt the most common question asked by sporting parents.
ANSWER:
There are several approaches to answering this question including:
As many as they can recover from - if two training sessions makes them tired and sore, then doing six will not help them.
As many as their goals determine - the higher the goal - the higher the price.
Players aiming to be the best and play First grade as senior players need to spend more time training than other players aiming for social level competition.
As many as they enjoy - the key to it all. Kids play sport because of three key reasons - they enjoy it - they love being with their friends and they love learning.
If the kids are not enjoying their football, forget keeping them in the sport.
There is no magic number of sessions for players to complete each week that will guarantee success.
Key comment - It is an individual thing!
