I have seen this phenomenon with girls teams all over the place. The big
problem here is that they lack the aggression to finish. A lot of teams will
pass the ball in front of the goal when they have a better chance of
scoring than the receiver does. (sort of the hot potato in the box type of
mentality) I have done a lot of work with having mine shooting under
pressure and shoot when they have a shot and not wait for that perfect
touch. It takes a lot of time and patience and is not easy to break them of
that habit.
