John,

I sure Hope I see the answer to your question on here My U14 girls have the
same problem. Can move the ball up field against anyone, but when it comes
time to pull the trigger! They always want to dribble just one more step and
end up losing it. I run every one touch/first touch drill I can find and
just can't get them out of it. So maybe we can both find our solution.

Roy

Subject: [Good, Bad and Ugly (about Soccer)] Looking for
Goal-Scoring drills

Hi,
I coach a U11 girls team. Our team is very offense-oriented but has

difficulty finishing the goal. When we get inside the penalty box
our play becomes scattered and disorganized. Our play
approaches "chaos" in this zone. Can anyone recommend drills or
techniques that will help us settle down and focus on the play at
hand?

Thanks for the Help, John

I don't think it's a matter of if they can handle it. They are very strong and aggressive. And above average as far as ball handling skills. They just seem to...
