You want to see the long ball, watch Eli Manning when we select him with the number two pick.  He's better than his old man and his brother put together,  Most people don't remember Archie and if the do, all they recall is him getting his head handed to him on every other play, just like Jim Plunkett in New England.  I'm telling you if he played for any other team, they'd have been in the playoffs every season.  New Orleans sucked, the owners were brain dead and to cheap to buy Manning any protection, so he suffered season after season. I'm telling Eli is the man, with an arm like a cannon, and the field vision of a season veteran, a real field general,  can you say Kenny Stabler.  I'm telling you he's our missing link.  I was sorry to see Garner go, but personality wise he was a follower not a leader, he got on C Woodson's band wagon and made a stupid decision and let his embarrassment override good decision making and left the  the silver and black rather than admit he'd pulled a stupid stunt that hurt the team, much akin to Barrett Robins, who at least had the balls to admit that he really screwed up, let down his team and worked his tail off to prove how sorry he was, that what it takes to set an example and to prove that you really want to be part of the greatest football organization of all time.
