I'm no Republican but George Bush said it first - "Fix the problem not
the blame. I'm not going to play the blame game". The Raiders
problem starts with Al Davis. He's not going to fire himself.
Management could be the problem but they're not responsible for what
happens on the field. The coaches and players are responsible. Who's
responsible?
Failure to score - Offensive unit and coach Marc Trestman
Too many points against - Defensive unit and coach Chuck Bresnahan
Poor tackling on special teams - Special teams unit and coach Bob
Casullo
Poor blocking on special teams returns - Special teams unit and coach
Bob Casullo
Who's responsible for every unit? Bill Callahan. Gruden has been
gone for over a year. It's not his fault. If it were then Tampa Bay
would also be blamed for the Rams 6 game losing streak last year
because they were the team who beat them last and every team who
seemed to start a losing streak would just as guilty. Too back it's
their f'ing job to do just that. There are 16 teams with sub .500
records this year. Did Tampa Bay do all that too? Gruden must be
Superman then.
You don't need tea leaves to figure this one out....Heads will roll.
Whose heads?
