This is one of the coolest service I have found on the net!!!  Does someone owe you money?  Do you owe someone money?  Did you know you can email money with PayPal.com?

PayPal, a free service of X.com, lets users send and receive money by email.  Use PayPal.com to settle restaurant tabs with colleagues, pay friends for movie tickets, or buy a baseball card at an online auction - all with the click of a mouse!  PayPal charges the money to an existing credit card or bank account.  It's faster, safer and easier than mailing a personal check.

As soon as you sign up and register your credit card, PayPal will automatically send you $5!  I recently signed up for PayPal and got my $5 bonus right away.  Signing up is quick, easy and you can download the money to your bank account at any time.  No strings attached.  Click on this link to sign up and see for yourself:

https://secure.paypal.com/refer/pal=Teddi%40cbd.net

REFER YOUR FRIENDS AND EARN MONEY
After you sign up, you'll get an email like this to send to your friends and family. PayPal will give you $5 for each friend that signs up and registers a credit card. It's that easy!

Enjoy~

I think it is a great opportunity for the Coach and he is a alumni of UNC. It stinks he won't be at ND after a great first year but hey we were going to lose him to UNC sooner or later it just happened to be sooner. I wish him the best of luck and hope we can find a good replacement because with the players ND has returning it can be one heck of a season for the team and hopefully a trip to the NCAA's for the first time in over a Decade will happen.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for this person?

1. As a Note Dame fan coming into the town of SouthBend that lives in Florida, besides the Normal fanstops to party like Coach's restaruranat, Gippers, Linebacker, and the usual, where is there in SouthBend that a real Notre Dame fan can go and party?. Like a restaurant or bar that has years and years of ND stuff on the walls that the out of town ND Fans can never get to see cause their schedules are set for the same old stops. There has to be somewhere where the "locals"wont tell about because they want it quiet and for themselves. They are the places where the best Notre Dame stories come out of.

2.Besides the bookstore, where can i buy the most Notre Dame memorabilia. I am seeking to buy autographed 8X10 pictures, mini helmets, and anything old of NotreDame. People told me that JC Penny's by your mall has a big selection of ND things is that true?

3. Last, I am looking for NotreDame Flags 3ft x 5 ft. to hang at Tailgate Parties. I cant find any through the internet. Know any stores in South Bend with ND Flags?

That should be enough for you. Please write back and let me know.

Wow.  Lots of questions for a Monday Morning  :-)  Your questions are great.  It must be the time of year I have gotten a number of emails like this.  I think I am going to add the information to my ND site www.geocities.com/Eureka/Concourse/4046/NotreDame.html

Yes, I know of a few other places ND fans may want to visit.  You mentioned most of them but, here are some others.  You can also go to www.irishline.com and post on the message board (it is a very active message board) and ask for others to tell you their favorite locations too.  You should get lots of ideas.

1.  Pat's Colonial Pub in Mishawaka.  Once I saw Moose Krause there.  It was awesome.  They play the ND fight song many times during dinner.  It is crowded and I would call to see about reservations. 219-259-8282  901 W. 4th. St (Corner of 4th and Smith)  It is fine dining in a casual atmosphere.  Worth going.

2.  Corby's Irish Pub.  (It was in the Rudy movie) 441 E. LaSalle (downtown South Bend) 219-233-5326  This one is a bar setting!

3.  Frank's Place 327 W. Marion 219-232-2277.  This has 7 Big screen TV's Open 7 days a week.

Yes, the JC Penney does have tons of ND stuff aside from the Bookstore it is a must stop.  It is full of ND items.

As for getting ND signed stuff try the local baseball cards shops...search online for them too. Bullpen & Dugout Sports Cards is near the Sears in the Mall on Grape Rd.  219-271-7067  It does have ND stuff.  I think they are online too.  When you get to South Bend look in the yellow pages.  There are many listed.

The ND merchandise catalogs have lots of unique stuff.  Flags and tons of other stuff.  If you want these catalogs let me know.  I can get your 4 different ones for $3.  You can pay me for them online through PayPal.

If you don't have payola go to https://secure.paypal.com/refer/pal=Teddi%40cbd.net   You can send/receive money by email FREE with PayPal.  It is great when you find an auction or want to buy a ND item from an individual or company online.  It is worth signing up for. You will get $5 at sign up too.

I hope this has answered your questions.

This is another question I got from danrishel@....

Question:

I'm trying to find a t-shirt with a Notre Dame helmet and a Nebraska Husker
helmet on it that says "tradition" or something like that. Have you seen it
or do you have a site where I can look for it? I've been searching for
about 30 minutes in many ND merchandise sites with no luck so far. Any help
you could give me would be appreciated.

Thanks

I really believe thgat Notre Dame is going to be much better than the
"experts" think. I predict that we will beat A&M and Nebraska. I also
think that a TRUE Notre Dame fan/family member would not root for a loss
just so a coach can be fired. THAT IS NOT NOTRE DAME! I personally hope ND
wins all of their games and Davie is rewarded! There ARE some out there who
hope ND loses so they can have their choice of coach installed. Once again,
that is not a real Notre Dame fan!

Dear Lisa,

I am not the source of this list. I do not know how you received this from

anything. I believe the originator of the list is Ted Kella? Sorry for any

> Coming off an injury-ravaged season which greatly contributed to their
first losing record since 1986, the Fighting Irish are determined to avoid a
repeat performance in 2000. Bob Davie begins his fourth season as Irish head
coach with first-time starter Arnaz Battle at quarterback. With a September
schedule that already includes No. 1 Nebraska, No. 14 Purdue and No. 25
Michigan State, the Battle-led Irish will have to hit the ground running
when Texas A&M -- the sixth-winningest college football team of the 1990s --
comes to South Bend for the opener on Saturday, September 2, on NBC (1:00
p.m. EDT). So before the opening kickoff, it's time to get caught up on all
the latest Fighting Irish news at the Notre Dame football site of record:

the overtime period of their second game of the season, they surrendered a
rushing touchdown to quarterback Eric Crouch which lifted top-ranked
Nebraska to a 27-24 victory at Notre Dame Stadium. In all, the Cornhuskers'
playcaller rushed for three touchdowns in a game that saw Nebraska withstand
the Irish's second-half comeback. The loss was Notre Dame's first of the
season, which squared its record at 1-1. In the extra session, before
Crouch's game-winning scamper from seven yards out, Notre Dame took its
first lead of the game on Nick Setta's 29-yard field goal. The game included
two, huge second-half plays by the Irish, one by sophomore Julius Jones and
the other by senior flanker, Joey Getherall. Jones, who also was making his
first career start at tailback, engergized the sold-out crowd in the third
quarter by returning a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown. In the fourth
quarter, Gertherall raced 83 ya!

> Nebraska quarterback Eric Crouch scored on a 7-yard run in overtime to
give the Cornhuskers a 27-24 win over the Irish. Nebraska came back after
Nick Setta's 29-yard field goal put the Irish up 24-21 after their

dreams. If we win the rest of our games we'll have the opportunity to come
back and play a quality team like Nebraska," quarterback Arnaz Battle said
minutes after the Irish's 27-24 overtime loss Saturday. For once, such a
bold statement, given Notre Dame's gutsy effort against the nation's
top-ranked team, seemed appropriate.
