1) Extra seating added for G.L.O.R.Y.Con!

G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling has made arrangements in the past
24 hours to open up EXTRA SEATING CAPACITY for Sunday's
big G.L.O.R.Y. Girls Wrestling event!

Early mail-order and online sales have been strong...
and some walk-up fans have begun to wonder whether they
will be able to attend the event. Now that extra
seating capacity has been added, those fans can wonder
no more.

TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR THE DAY OF
THE EVENT!

If you want to be a part of the most exciting ladies
wrestling event of the year, be at G.L.O.R.Y.Con 2004!

When: Sunday, October 3rd, 2004. Convention floor opens
at 12:00pm. Matches start at 2:00pm.

Where the action takes place: IWF Centre, 32 Willow Way,

2) New G.L.O.R.Y. Champion to be determined.
===========================================

With the recent stripping of the G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling
Title from previous champion Macaela Mercedes, this
Sunday's G.L.O.R.Y.Con event will be used to find a
NEW G.L.O.R.Y. Champion.

How will it be done?

Every G.L.O.R.Y. Girl competing on Sunday's card will
have the chance to become our next G.L.O.R.Y. Champion
because we are going to enter the winner of each match
into a final "Queen Of The Ring" tournament!

All the winners will come back for the convention's
final match--with girls' names being chosen at random
to enter the ring at one-minute intervals. G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls will be eliminated via pin, submission or being
ejected from the ring...until there is one final
G.L.O.R.Y. Girl standing: OUR NEW G.L.O.R.Y. WRESTLING
CHAMPION!

A unique match for a unique collection of athletes: The
G.L.O.R.Y. Girls!

3) Camron Star w/JT BRANNUM vs. Sonya Blackhawk
===============================================

G.L.O.R.Y.'s "teen terror", Sonya Blackhawk, and Camron
Star (a fan favorite in her own mind) will finally
settle their long-simmering feud by battling in what we
here in New Jersey call a "Tony Soprano Nothing Is
Illegal Match!" No rules. No DQs. No count-outs. We're
going to let these two Midwestern wrestlers go at it
until someone is pinned in the middle of the ring.
Star has vowed to punish her opponent...claiming that
she's more interested in hurting and punishing young
Blackhawk than defeating her!

The winner of this match will advance to the G.L.O.R.Y.
"Queen Of The Ring" Final!

4) Lady Victoria vs. Louise Lockwood
====================================

U.K. G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Louise Lockwood will be traveling
across the Atlantic to compete against Lady Victoria at
G.L.O.R.Y.Con 2004...and Ms. Lockwood will be bringing
the LWUK Title belt with her! The courageous British
Champ has no problem putting her title on the line far
away from home on Victoria's home turf. It's youth vs.
experience...finesse vs. muscle...Britain vs. America!
Will the British teen be heading for home without her
title belt?!

The winner of this match will advance to the G.L.O.R.Y.
"Queen Of The Ring" Final!

5) Lexie Fyfe vs. Venus
=======================

G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling teams with Tiffani Monroe's PWE to
bring you Lexie Fyfe vs. Venus in a match to determine
the Top Contender for the PWE Women's Title. Lexie has
been working hard to be the dominant lady in the hot
new PWE fed. But Venus has just moved up to North
Carolina from her home state of Texas for the specific
purpose of making her mark on the East Coast indy scene.
Will G.L.O.R.Y.Con be the first place that she leaves
that mark? Not if Lexie has a say in the matter! These
talented ladies are sure to turn the G.L.O.R.Y. ring
upside down!

The winner of this match will advance to the G.L.O.R.Y.
"Queen Of The Ring" Final!

6) Kayla vs. Miss DeVille
=========================

See these two young and eager rookies face-off inside
the ropes of the G.L.O.R.Y. ring. Kayla and Miss
DeVille have been working together over the past
several months as a new tag team called The Diva Killaz.
But what happens when it's Diva Killa vs. Diva Killa?
Which will be the Diva...and which career could be
killed?! One of these tough rookies will walk out
victorious...but who will it be?

The winner of this match will advance to the G.L.O.R.Y.
"Queen Of The Ring" Final!

7) Crazy Daisy w/Foxxy Dreams vs. Cindy Rogers
==============================================

Crazy Daisy gets her shot! Foxxy was originally
scheduled to battle Cindy Rogers in this match...but
after recently learning that she is expecting, Foxxy
had to step away from ring competition. Seeing a chance
to advance her wrestling career, Crazy Daisy stepped up
to take Foxxy's place! But Foxxy will be in the corner
of Daisy as she tries to manager her to victory. And
Daisy will need that help: Cindy Rogers is one of the
toughest ladies on the East Coast indy scene today!
These two ladies will lock up and be looking to not
only cement their position within the G.L.O.R.Y.
ranks...but also to earn the status as #1 Contender for
the JWA-United Women's Title (currently held by Ariel).
Can Crazy Daisy top the always-tough Rogers? This match
promises to be a rumble!

The winner of this match will advance to the G.L.O.R.Y.
"Queen Of The Ring" Final!

8) Jordyn James & Jana vs. Shayla & Carrie
==========================================

Four rookies tangle in what is sure to be a super-high
energy tag match when IWF trainees Jordyn James & Jana
tangle with Shayla & Carrie. The 2002 G.L.O.R.Y.
Convention helped to launch the careers of Ariel and
Alicia...now two of the most popular girls on the
Northeast indy scene. Will lightning strike twice? You
can bet that these four eager rookies will be looking
to impress the G.L.O.R.Y. fans. Be prepared for some
slam-bang action from these four enthusiastic young
rookies!

The purpose of this special "IWF Rookie Rumble Tag
Match" is to showcase these young IWF trainees. Thus,
the winning team from this match will not advance to
the G.L.O.R.Y. "Queen Of The Ring" Final. (But they
may very well earn their way into contention for the
title at our next G.L.O.R.Y.Con!)

9) Bobcat vs. Little Jeanne
===========================

So you thought Bobcat and Little Jeanne were friends?
You may be right...but the key word in the previous
sentence is "were". When Jeanne heard that Bobcat had
become our newest G.L.O.R.Y. Girl and that she would
also be in action at the G.L.O.R.Y. Convention, the
East Coast favorite blew her top! She asked us if she
could step into the ring against the G.L.O.R.Y. newbie.
In fact, Jeanne was so anxious to face Bobcat, she said
she would take the blonde on in any kind of match we
wanted to throw at her. Our decision: we made this a
No-Holds-Barred Grudge Match! And what did Bobcat have
to say about her former friend's challenge?: "I'm
ready, Jeanne. BRING IT ON!"

The winner of this match will advance to the G.L.O.R.Y.
"Queen Of The Ring" Final!

10) Alicia & E.C.Negro vs. Tara Charisma & Ken Scampi
=====================================================

This match has the potential to be a powder keg!
G.L.O.R.Y. Girls Alicia and Tara Charisma have been
beating the living heck out of each other in Northeast
rings for the past six months. We decided to see how
they would fair when facing each other in a tag team
situation. We gave each girl the chance to choose her
own partner. Tara has chosen the man who she's been
managing for most of 2004..."The Fisherman" Ken Scampi.
Alicia has chosen a rough thug who is one-half of the
successful Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz tag team...E.C. Negro!
Can these G.L.O.R.Y. Girls hold their own if they
should find themselves in the ring facing their male
opponents?

The winner of this match will advance to the G.L.O.R.Y.
"Queen Of The Ring" Final!

11) Alere Little Feather vs. Luscious Lily
==========================================

G.L.O.R.Y. teams-up with one of the East Coast's top
feds to bring you a WXW #1 Contender Match! Two of
WXW's top competitors and two of your favorite
G.L.O.R.Y. Girls--Native American Alere Little Feather
and Luscious Lily--will face each other in one-on-one
ring action. This match was in jeopardy until this past
week as Lily has been told by her doctor NOT to compete
after being badly burned by a fireball attack at a
recent show. But Lily doesn't want to miss this chance
to become the WXW #1 contender...as well as show all
the G.L.O.R.Y. fans in attendance what she can do in
the ring. Will Alere "go easy" on her injured opponent?
Or will she take advantage of the injury to advance her
own WXW aspirations?!

The winner of this match will advance to the G.L.O.R.Y.

12) Synndy vs. Ariel
====================

Ariel got her first big break when she had the chance
to compete for the G.L.O.R.Y. title back at our very
first G.L.O.R.Y. Convention. We decided to let another
newcomer get her chance to shine at this year's
G.L.O.R.Y.Con. And that newcomer is Synndy! The blonde
New Yorker who has worked mainly as a manager, will be
having her first big match and will be trying to prove
that she deserves to be "in the big leagues". But she
has to get past Ariel to do it! These two ladies have
met at several shows and profess to be good friends.
But what happens when they have to step into the ring
and compete against each other? Can their friendship
survive? Or, as JTW predicts, will friends turn into
enemies once the bell rings?!

The winner of this match will advance to the G.L.O.R.Y.
"Queen Of The Ring" Final!

13) Hollywood vs. Hurricane Havana
==================================

You remember her from the smash women's wrestling TV
show GLOW: it's Hollywood! The popular 1980s wrestling
icon is coming to G.L.O.R.Y.Con and she won't just be
signing autographs. She'll also be stepping into the
ring! We've matched Hollywood against a formidable
opponent. Flying in from California to compete for the
G.L.O.R.Y. Championship, it's the hot up-and-comer
Hurricane Havana! The Cuban-born wrestler has been
trained by such legends as Susan Sexton and Jesse
Hernandez...and we have no doubt that this sexy ring
grappler will be very capable of giving Hollywood a
good challenge in the G.L.O.R.Y. ring. So, which West
Coast Bombshell will you be rooting for?!

A helpful new feature has been added to the G.L.O.R.Y.
Wrestling site to help you find out IN A FLASH where
your favorite G.L.O.R.Y. Girls are appearing!

Simply head to the profile of the girl you are
interested in seeing live and click on the small link
which appears under her picture in the upper right
portion of the page. (For example: "Alicia's show
schedule.") You will be automatically forwarded to a
page giving you the details of all the shows that
G.L.O.R.Y. Girl is scheduled to appear at. Well, all
the shows that have been submitted to our database
anyway...but that's still a LOT of shows!

After checking out the shows, just click the button
at the bottom of the list and you'll immediately be
taken back to the G.L.O.R.Y. profile you were on.

Now you can find out where your favorite G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls are appearing with a single click from their
profile!

One note: This feature has been added to the profiles
of the newest G.L.O.R.Y. Girls, as well as recently

2) Two G.L.O.R.Y. Champions one step from WWE?
==============================================

June was a great month for former G.L.O.R.Y. Champion
Phoenix.

The Fabulous Firebird joined current G.L.O.R.Y. Champ
Macaela Mercedes (a.k.a. Jillian Hall) at Ohio Valley
Wrestling...the Midwest indy federation which has
become a "farm league" of sorts for WWE. Many current
WWE stars were plucked directly from the OVW roster.

In addition to Phoenix and Macaela/Jillian, G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls Melissa Coates, Alexis Laree and Kyra are also on the
OVW roster. Could we be seeing one or ALL of these
ladies working in the WWE ring soon? We wouldn't bet
against it!

Congratulations to all the OVW ladies and we send our
best wishes that you fulfill your dreams in reaching
the "big show"!

3) PWI Women Of Wrestling due mid-July.
=======================================

In our last issue of G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling News we
reported that the new PWI Women Of Wrestling issue was
due to be released in March. We lied.

But we didn't do it on purpose!

Turned out that at the last minute, there was a
production shakeup in the publishing schedule and the
issue was delayed. But we just received word from PWI
that the issue will be released in the middle of July.

This issue will be well worth the wait. As always, PWI
will be packed full of glossy pages containing photos
and info on all the top ladies in the wrestling
business...and more than a few will be G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls. In fact, MANY of them will be G.L.O.R.Y. Girls!

Watch the front page of G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling for more
important news concerning this upcoming PWI issue.

4) The G.L.O.R.Y. Interviews...
===============================

A great special feature was added to G.L.O.R.Y.
Wrestling recently when we debuted our "G.L.O.R.Y.
Interviews" section. Many of you had asked about having
a section of the site featuring interviews with
the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls...and we've delivered!

Our Women's Wrestling News editor, Joe Rules, has
already interviewed such G.L.O.R.Y. favorites as Amber
O'Neal, Valentina, Camron Star, Tiffani Monroe and
Kiley McLean.

Being a wrestler...uh, make that "former wrestler"...
himself, Joe has a unique perspective on his
questioning when interviewing the ladies. We've learned
a lot about the ladies who he's interviewed during his
entertaining discussions with them.

Let us know what you think of the G.L.O.R.Y. Interviews
section of the site. If we get positive feedback on it,
we'll upgrade it from "special feature" status into our
"regular features" area.

the tag-team title battles she's currently involved in
here in the Northeast, and a little of the background

brother Hades in the just released G.L.O.R.Y. Girls

Since our last issue, G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling has released
another great video featuring "The Hardest Working Women
In Professional Wrestling"!

G.L.O.R.Y. Girls "Going Postal" features seven of our
girls in four action-packed matches.

* Big Kiley McLean takes on Alicia and Syren in a
2 vs. 1 Handicap Match.

* Ariel takes on Hades in what might be pro wrestling's
first-ever Sister vs. Brother Match!

* Macaela Mercedes defends her G.L.O.R.Y. Championship
against a determined Sonya Blackhawk in G.L.O.R.Y.'s
very first "No DQ Match". (This one not only tumbles
out of the ring...it spills out to the arena parking
lot!)

* Kiley McLean takes on ring veteran Little Jeanne in
a rough match featuring technical wrestling along with
some downright rule breaking and ring brutality.

7) Amber O'Neal/Holly returns to the ring.
==========================================

After nearly a year-long absence from the ring, Amber
O'Neal (formerly Amber Holly) returned to action
May 29th to battle arch enemy GeeStar in Mt. Airy, NC.

And how did it turn out for Ms. O'Neal? Here's a recap
of the action from a fan who was in attendance...

"Over 150 vocal fans turned out for an exciting night
of action provided by the Southern Wrestling Alliance
this past Saturday night, May 29th, at the National
Guard Armory in Mt. Airy, NC, which was highlighted by
Amber O'Neal finally making her long-awaited return
against longtime rival GeeStar. Amber was returning
from reconstructive knee surgery nearly one year to the
day of her final match prior to the surgery. Amber
caught the current Mid-Atlantic TV champion off guard
early on with a spear, sending Gee quickly to the
outside to regroup. The two exchanged a series of close
pinfalls in the early going with the crowd showing
their appreciation for both competitors with a round of
applause. As expected, Gee wasted no time at all in
going after the repaired knee, jumping on it at the
first opportunity. After viciously battering Amber's
leg for several minutes, Gee set up to finish Amber
off...but Amber reversed it into a DDT, driving Gee's
head into the canvas. Amber came back with both a
titl-a-whirl headscissors and her modified
bodyscissors/guillotine choke submission finisher,
which Gee was able to survive by making it to the
ropes. The end came when Amber went for a sunset flip
out of the corner but Gee blocked it by holding onto
the second rope, sitting down, and using the ropes for
leverage to gain the controversial decision. SWA wasted
no time at all in announcing a rematch for their next

G.L.O.R.Y.'s first chat of 2004 seemed to be a big
success as numerous fans joined in for an hours-long
chat with special guest Valentina and a number of other

in on the fun. The chat took place April 28th.

Since then, many fans have asked if we were planning

Fans who have been waiting for the release of
G.L.O.R.Y. Legend Penny Banner's new autobiography,

longer. The date of release for the book has been
pushed back from Spring 2004 to this summer. Mid-July
to be exact.

This book is sure to be a great read for fans of Penny
in particular and women's wrestling fans in general.

10) A fond farewell to Diva Talk.
=================================

It is with great sadness that we here at G.L.O.R.Y.
Wrestling say goodbye to "Diva Talk"...the audio
interview show hosted by Chris Halen.

The decision to end the show was not made by G.L.O.R.Y.
or Chris. Unfortunately, another media company
purchased the radio station which Chris worked for--
the radio station which was the base of operations for
recording Diva Talk interviews--and they completely
revamped the station's format...while at the same time
releasing all the employees from their jobs.

In one of those bad news/good news scenarios, while
we're sorry to see Diva Talk go, we're happy to report
that Chris was able to land his "dream job"": working
as a producer/engineer in a music studio.

Congratulations Chris and good luck in your new career!

I know that I'll always look back fondly at the year
of Diva Talk interviews conducted by Chris Halen. It
was the first time that I heard many of the girls in a
real "live" interview format. Written interviews are
great...don't get me wrong...I love to read them. But
*hearing* the girls as they were interviewed brought
out a whole new side to them which often times can't be
duplicated by the written word or photographs.

Thank you Chris Halen--and the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls you
interviewed--for the great Diva Talk shows of the past
year!

1) G.L.O.R.Y. Shows & Appearances Page upgraded.

A major overhaul to the G.L.O.R.Y. Shows & Appearances
Page was completed in mid-February and the result is a
resource that is MUCH more useful for the fans of
the indy ladies. We've added a searching feature to the
list of appearances which should make it A LOT easier
for fans to find and get to shows featuring the
G.L.O.R.Y. Girls.

G.L.O.R.Y. has always had what we believe is the most
comprehensive indy ladies show listing on the Web. All
in one place, fans have been able to find 40, 50, 60 or
more shows listed featuring their favorite G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls. The problem, of course, was checking that many
shows to see if there was something coming up in your
area. Or searching for a particular favorite G.L.O.R.Y.
Girl.

Well, we've now taken care of that.

When you arrive at the Shows & Appearances Page now,
you'll see four different search options at the top of
the page. Using any one of these will make your show
search a lot faster and a lot more efficient...

1) Search by G.L.O.R.Y. Girl: Simply use the drop down
box to select the name of your favorite G.L.O.R.Y. Girl
and hit the submit button. All shows that are listed in
our database where the girl you selected is on the card
will be shown to you in chronological order. Use this
search feature if you are only interested in seeing
certain girls performing.

2) Search by area: Use this drop down box to select
any state or Canadian Province. All shows we have
in our database which will be taking place in the area
you select will pop up on your screen. Now you don't
have to worry about missing a show that may be close to
your home. Just check the state(s) where you are and
see who's coming by!

3) Search by date: Have a free weekend and want to see
if any shows are running? Simply choose the date you
are interested in and you'll quickly see a list of all
the shows scheduled to run from three days BEFORE the
date you chose right through to three days AFTER.

4) Finally, the old method of seeing the show list is
still available. Simply hit the link to see ALL the
shows listed in chronological order.

We are certain that this will make G.L.O.R.Y.
Wrestling's Shows & Appearances Page a lot easier and
faster for all fans to use. Now there is no excuse to
miss a show near you! Get out there and support your
favorite G.L.O.R.Y. Girls when they hit a ring in your

Since our last newsletter, we've introduced a great new
daily feature on the site: the G.L.O.R.Y. Link Of The
Day (or LOD as it's come to be known).

Every single day, we feature a unique and interesting
link that is certain to be of interest to those of you
dropping into the site. The link may lead to a great
wrestling site that we weren't familiar with before.
Perhaps an interesting picture. We may be treated to a
new and informative news article. You never know where
the G.L.O.R.Y. LOD may lead!

G.L.O.R.Y. fan Louis Wright Jr. has been in charge of
the Link Of The Day feature since Day 1 and he's been
doing an incredible job! Not only has he been scouring
the Web to find links for the rest of us to
enjoy...he's also responsible for the often humorous
and imaginative descriptions of each new daily link.

As of this newsletter, Louis has provided us with 120+
LODs and he's still going strong!

In addition to his LOD duties, Louis has also been
added to the G.L.O.R.Y. staff as our Link Director...
and once again he's been doing a great job in handling
G.L.O.R.Y.'s massive collection of links. At the time
of our last newsletter, we had about 290 links on site.
Today, Louis has built that number to 380-plus!

Where else are you going to find nearly 400 QUALITY

4) Joe Rules named Women's Wrestling News Editor.

G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling is happy to announce that
long-time G.L.O.R.Y. fan (and semi-retired wrestling
heel!) Joe Rules has been named to the position of
Women's Wrestling News Editor.

Joe's addition to the G.L.O.R.Y staff is a big shot in
the arm for the Women's Wrestling News section of the
site. As G.L.O.R.Y grew through 2003, John The
WebMaster realized that it was hard enough to keep up-
to-date with just the news of the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls,
much less everything else that was happening in the
fast-moving world of women's indy wrestling.

Enter Joe Rules!

John The WebMaster has been receiving Joe's informative
and humorous newsletters for a couple of years now.
Rules' news-intensive S.L.O.W. Yahoo! Group--which
covers much of the news on the women's scene--has also
been a favorite stop of JTW for quite a while. In
short, Joe Rules was the perfect person to step into
the role of G.L.O.R.Y.'s WWN Editor.

Joe has been handling the news duties since the final
day of 2003. As you can see by the many stories that
have been posted since then, he's been doing a great
job in keeping us fans informed of the latest
happenings with the indy girls and the ladies in the
major feds.

Joe Rules is quickly making G.L.O.R.Y.'s Women's
Wrestling News section the premier place on the Web to
find the latest breaking news about all your favorite
ladies! A great job has been done by Joe Rules in a
short amount of time...and you can expect G.L.O.R.Y.'s

5) Valentina now calling L.A. home.
===================================

A quick chat with G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Valentina recently
revealed the fact that she has moved from her former
home base of Nashville, TN to the West Coast...Los
Angeles to be exact.

The move doesn't mean that Valentina is giving up on
her wrestling career. To the contrary, she is looking
to hook up with several major California feds to
advance her career. As we hear more from Valentina,
we'll pass the info along to you.

In the meantime, visit Valentina's site and check-out

6) Will G.L.O.R.Y. roster reach 200 in February?
================================================

It's possible! But probably not likely.

The good news is that we still have a lot of ladies
who want to join the site. New applications come in on
an almost daily basis. But the reason we probably won't
hit the 200 mark is because we will soon be removing a
lot of the girls on the site who have not been active.

A few of the ladies will be leaving on their own
accord: injuries, retirement from the ring, pursuing
other careers.

But many others will be removed from the site simply
because we have not heard from them over a long period
of time. Perhaps they have left the business...or maybe
they have just decided to not keep in contact for other
reasons. Either way, keeping their profiles on the site
under those circumstances doesn't really serve anyone.

Our philosophy has always been that G.L.O.R.Y. should
be an active site and vibrant resource for positively
promoting the ladies of the indies. To us, having
active, passionate girls involved with G.L.O.R.Y. is
infinitely more important than having as many girls as
possible. We'd rather have 100 G.L.O.R.Y. Girls who
are committed to their wrestling careers rather than a
roster of 250 girls who are not very active.

That may be disappointing to the fans who want to see
profiles of as many pretty girls as possible...but
that's not our main purpose. We're not a modeling site.
We're not a fitness athlete site. We're not a
television celebrity or movie actress site. We are
G.L.O.R.Y. *WRESTLING*.

So in the coming weeks, don't be disappointed to see
the amount of ladies profiled on G.L.O.R.Y. decline.
Although the numbers may be down, you can be sure that
the remaining G.L.O.R.Y. Girls are actively engaged in
the wrestling business. They're *where the action is*.
They are the next generation of girls who will be
major federation stars in the coming years.

Of course, we wish all the girls who will be leaving us
the best of luck with whatever they have decided to
pursue outside the world of wrestling...and we thank
them for allowing us to share in the excitement their
careers generated for us fans.

7) Challenging times for Erotica D'Vine & Kiley McLean.
=======================================================

Visitors to the G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board have been
following the stories of Erotica D'Vine and Kiley
McLean over the past ten days or so. Both ladies are
facing challenges right now.

In Erotica's case, she has been in and out of doctors'
offices and the hospital for the better part of a week
suffering from intense headaches and some soreness in
her leg. Doctors were having trouble tracking down the
source of her pain. They have had a few theories that
they've been working on...and although they haven't
pin-pointed the exact problem yet, it seems as though
Erotica has been feeling much better over the last
72 hours. We're hoping to hear that Erotica is
completely back to normal very soon.

Kiley McLean's challenge involves her Dad. He was
diagnosed recently with a spot on his lung. Obviously,
Kiley and her entire family are very concerned as it
means various treatments such as chemotherapy are
possible over the coming months.

We wish the very best of luck to both Erotica and Kiley
at this time. Both ladies have given a lot of
themselves for the entertainment of the fans and many
fans are letting them know how much they are
appreciated with messages of support, encouraging
emails and thoughtful cards and letters.

11) Best wishes for Chad Carter.

We'd like to send our best wishes to super-duper
G.L.O.R.Y. Girl fan Chad Carter who has been having
some serious health challenges lately.

Chad has been living with a disease called Pulmonary
Hypertension (PH). It is a rare blood vessel disorder
of the lung in which the pressure in the pulmonary
artery (the blood vessel that leads from the heart to
the lungs) rises above normal levels and may become
life threatening.

Chad has been a big supporter of the ladies on the
site, often starting and maintaining Yahoo! Groups and
fan clubs for many of the ladies who don't have their
own personal sites. Many girls have benefitted from
Chad's efforts in promoting their careers...efforts
that Chad provides at no cost to the ladies.

All the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls, G.L.O.R.Y. Fans and John The
WebMaster are pulling hard for Chad to make it through
this difficult time for him and his family.

Remember what Coach Jimmy Valvano said Chad: "Don't
give up, don't ever give up."

That's the message that was posted on the G.L.O.R.Y.
site by Mark B. And he was right...I slugged-off on
keeping the newsletter up to date. Looks like we're
taking care of that now, though!

But remember: the G.L.O.R.Y Yahoo! Group that hosts
this newsletter is much more than just these mailings
that I send out way too infrequently. If you visit the
group, you'll find that the Photo section is crammed
with loads of pictures from G.L.O.R.Y. Photographers
Eric Shaffer, Danielle D'Adamo and more. And the vast
majority of those photos have NEVER been seen on the
regular G.L.O.R.Y. site. Make sure you stop in there
often to check things out.

At last check, you've all put the group in the Top 60
of Yahoo's! "Women Of Wrestling" category...which is
one of the highest rankings for a non-adult oriented
group. That's important for the simple fact that the
higher the group ranks there, the more fans we might
attract to the site who may not be very familiar with
the indy women's scene. While they're searching for
a group about the WWE women, for example, they may
come across the G.L.O.R.Y. link and learn about the
exciting stuff going on with the girls in the indies.
That can only help.

We've added something new to G.L.O.R.Y.: a site search
feature which should make finding things a lot easier.

The feature is powered by Google and has all the power
of the Web's leading search engine behind it. When you
enter a search term in the search box located on the
G.L.O.R.Y. menu or on the new Search Page, Google will
show you all the pages of G.L.O.R.Y. that match what
you're looking for.

And the search is pretty darn accurate. The Google
bot spiders the G.L.O.R.Y. site on a nearly daily
basis. New and updated pages are usually indexed and
ready to be displayed within a matter of days after
they are created.

Want to see how many times Tiffani Monroe is mentioned
on G.L.O.R.Y.? Just type "tiffani monroe" into the
search box and click "Go". Want to know if we've ever
done a story on hardcore matches? Type in "hardcore"
and see what you get.

4) G.L.O.R.Y. roster hits 165!
==============================

It's been a long summer at the G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling
site. A much needed site overhaul and change-over to
a new server took a lot longer than expected. A LOT
LONGER! And there is still some stuff that has to be
transferred (such as older news stories)...but the
payoff for everyone is starting to come in now.

Making changes to the site is much easier. If you visit
the Shows & Appearances section of the site, hopefully
you've noticed that show info is uploaded and edited
a lot faster than it used to be. Match Results are
also added in a more timely manner.

And the backlog of ladies who have patiently waited to
be added to the site has been whittled WAY down from
what it was. It was only a few weeks ago that we hit
the 150 mark on the G.L.O.R.Y. Girl roster. As of
yesterday, we added our 165th G.L.O.R.Y. Girl to the
site.

Some recent additions to the G.L.O.R.Y. site: Christie
Ricci, Desire, Molly McShane, Sensational Summer,
Kayla, Lady Amazon, Desiree, Ashleigh Vayda, Ipuna,
Dark Angel, Rio Storm, Daffney Unger, Miss DeVille,
Hurricane Havana and Lady Amazon.

Much needed profile edits have also been worked on:
Allison Danger, Melicious and Angel Williams, to name
a few. Look for more profile updates on a regular
basis.

Thanks for your patience over the last several months.
It was hard waiting for things at times, I know. And
there is still more to do, but the payoff is just
around the corner. Things should run a lot smoother

5) Picture Galleries to be added to profiles.

Another new feature we've started to add into the
G.L.O.R.Y. site over the past couple of weeks has
been photo galleries for individual girls. We'll be
adding links to many G.L.O.R.Y. Girl profiles which
will lead to a page full of additional pictures of
that particular lady. And who can have a problem with
seeing more of the most beautiful, athletic and sexy
girls on the wrestling scene today?!

This is a project which will build slowly but surely as
we add additional photo galleries to the profiles of
many ladies. You can check out a few galleries that
have been added already (Alicia, Sonya Blackhawk and
Angel Williams, for example). Just look for the blue
and yellow link box below the pictures that line the
left-hand side of each lady's profile page.

6) G.L.O.R.Y. improves vote linking.
====================================

We know that a lot of fan sites like to use G.L.O.R.Y.
banners on their sites as links to our voting page to
encourage visitors to vote for their favorite lady as
G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Of The Month. We appreciate those
links--and all your links to G.L.O.R.Y., by the way!--
and we've come up with a new and easy way for you to
link directly to your favorite girl courtesy of an idea
sent to us by Kevin Fields of TheWrestler.net.

Kevin asked if we could have a set-up where a link
could lead directly to the section of the voting page
where a particular girl's voting button was located.

"With so many girls now involved in the voting, the
girls who are located further down the page take
longer for fans to find and vote for," Kevin said.
"Can you set up a system where the link can lead
directly to their picture and voting button?"

Great idea! One that The WebMaster had not thought of
until Kevin's suggestion. We implemented it on the
G.L.O.R.Y. site...but it means that the owners of
sites out their linking to the G.L.O.R.Y. voting page
have to make a slight change to their HTML linking
code. Good news is: it's not a complicated or major
change. Here's all you have to do...

Right now, if you are linked to the G.L.O.R.Y. Girl
Voting Page, your linking code address looks like this:

http://www.glorywrestling.com/Vote.asp

If you want to have that link go to a particular girl,
rather than the top of the voting page, your linking
code will have to look something like this:

http://www.glorywrestling.com/Vote.asp#AlexisLaree

This link code will lead a visitor to the section of
the voting page where a fan can vote for Alexis Laree.
For Little Jeanne, the code would be:

http://www.glorywrestling.com/Vote.asp#SweetDestiny

IMPORTANT: To find the exact name you want to link, you
must go to that girl's profile page. In the address bar
of your browser, look for how her name is spelled
immediately after the "/gg/" part of the page address.
THAT IS WHAT YOU MUST USE TO MAKE YOUR LINK WORK
CORRECTLY AND LEAD TO YOUR FAVORITE GIRL.

Simply append a "#" followed by the girl's name as
described above to the existing linking address you are
currently using.

Of course, you can still leave your link as it is and
just go directly to the top of the vote page. That will
still work. This is just another little feature that
you can utilize if it appeals to you.

1) HUGE NEWS: G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling Debuts?!

Months in the making. Months in the planning. The
G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling Web site is thrilled to announce
the debut of G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling! What the...???

G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling is no longer simply a Web site.
As of this weekend, G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling has become
a full-fledged wrestling company...dedicated to
bringing you events containing the best action from
all your favorite G.L.O.R.Y. Girls!

You heard it right: G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling will be
bringing fans of the site full-length, full-featured,
action-packed shows including many of your favorite
G.L.O.R.Y stars.

Why are we doing this? Simple. We're doing it by
popular demand of the fans AND the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls
themselves.

It was the fans who were responsible for the first
G.L.O.R.Y. Convention last June. They wanted to meet
the girls they had discovered on the site and see them
in action. We gave them that opportunity.

But many more fans could not be at the convention in
person...mainly due to the distance they lived from
New Jersey. Thanks to the Web and video, they were
able to purchase a tape of the event to enjoy in the
comfort of their own home.

Many of the fans who purchased the G.L.O.R.Y.
Convention video asked the same thing: "When are you
going to offer more action from the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls?"

Then there were the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls themselves. Many
have asked about the possibility of stepping into a
G.L.O.R.Y. ring to take on some of the other ladies
from the site. A few have even asked about settling
some personal grudges under the G.L.O.R.Y. banner.

We came to the conclusion that there was only one
thing to do: Present a monthly G.L.O.R.Y. Girl card to
satisfy the fans and the girls. But what makes this
project even more unique is that the matches will
be done for YOU...the fans of G.L.O.R.Y. exclusively!

That's right. We bring the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls in and let
them go at it...in front of the G.L.O.R.Y. cameras...
without distractions outside the ring. Without having
to worry about what a promoter sets-up for them on an
otherwise "all-male" wrestling card. We're talking
ALL G.L.O.R.Y. GIRLS, ALL THE TIME!

Along with the action-packed G.L.O.R.Y. matches, you
also get interviews with the girls as they tell you
about themselves and their upcoming battles.

We believe that this is the best way for fans to see
their favorite G.L.O.R.Y. Girls who may not work in
their local area. Now, you'll be able to see all the
G.L.O.R.Y. Girl action from the comfort of your own
ringside seat...your own comfy easy chair!

Our first G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling show took place this
weekend. Much has to be done as far as editing and
preparing the video of this great first event. But we
expect to have more details for you very shortly. One
thing we can tell you now: the action was INCREDIBLE,
the girls had the volume cranked up to 10, and the
intensity was...well...INTENSE!

Keep watching the site for more info!

A special note and an apology are in order here: Fans
and G.L.O.R.Y. Girls alike have had questions lately
about things being behind schedule as far as the
newsletter schedule and the site, i.e. voting updates,
new profiles being added, news, results, etc. This new
G.L.O.R.Y. project which I just described is a big
part of why John The WebMaster has been behind in his
regular site duties. Expect things to be getting back
to normal on the site and new girls to be added on a
stepped-up basis. Sorry for the backup.

some of the WWE's female talent on April 7th and 8th.
Could we be seeing ODB on Raw or Smackdown soon? We
sure hope so!

6) G.L.O.R.Y. Chat Room debuts.
===============================

The first-ever G.L.O.R.Y. Chat Room debuted recently
with a Wednesday Night chat that included dozens of
fans and featured our current G.L.O.R.Y. Champion
Macaela Mercedes along with the legendary Diane Von
Hoffman.

But that wasn't all. Many other G.L.O.R.Y. Girls
stopped in to check out the chat and to banter with
G.L.O.R.Y. fans. The chat--which was originally
scheduled to run for an hour--stretched to over
*three hours* as the party didn't break-up until
very near midnight (eastern time).

A suggestion has been made to run the G.L.O.R.Y. chats
on a regular basis, with Sunday nights seeming to be
a popular time with fans and G.L.O.R.Y. girls alike.

Watch the site for an announcement about when our next
G.L.O.R.Y. Chat Room will open...and it will be soon!

The G.L.O.R.Y. fans are at it again! What an
imaginative bunch!

This time it's LLWJR (also known as ChristmasBaby57),
WhyteNite and quite a few others undoubtedly, who have
established a new Yahoo! Group called Happy Birthday
G.L.O.R.Y. Girls. The group lists the birthdays of
many of our G.L.O.R.Y. ladies so that their fans can
send birthday wishes to their favorite wrestling stars.

But it's much more. Louis (that's LLWJR) has made it
easy for fans to send well-wishes to the girls by
linking to various free e-card sites. There's a lot of
pictures of the girls. There is a folder containing all
the great G.L.O.R.Y. Girl birthday cards that WhyteNite
has created. There's even a folder with pictures and
birthdays of various G.L.O.R.Y. fans!

And now Louis has some other gimmick planned. We don't
even know what it is yet...but he promises it will be
BIG.

Is the female indy wrestling scene hot? Consider this:

Going into this weekend, G.L.O.R.Y. had 91 shows
listed which involved the ladies on this site in
wrestling action or managing. And that's the total of
shows just out into mid-Spring. You know many, many
more shows will be posted as we get further into 2003.

Click the G.L.O.R.Y. site's "Shows & Appearances"
buton on a regular basis to catch any shows near you
which involve the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls. Remember: it's
great to support them on the site...but supporting
them in person is just as important! Let your local
promoter know that you enjoyed seeing the girls at his

With the demise of Fighting Females Magazine last year,
many wrestling fans were left in a lurch. But fear
not! A new magazine called "Ladies In Combat" is set to
make its debut in the next month or so.

The magazine will cover the women's wrestling scene in
both the USA and the UK.

Prominently featured in the first issue will be
G.L.O.R.Y. Girls Lady Victoria and Louise Lockwood...
and it's very likely that other ladies from the site
will also be covered in the coming months.

4) Macaela Mercedes, Melissa Coates at OVW.
==========================================

Two G.L.O.R.Y. Girls--Macaela Mercedes and Melissa
Coates--spent the past week at Ohio Valley Wrestling
(OVW) training and showing their stuff to WWE scouts.

Although we don't have details yet about all that went
on down at OVW, The WebMaster was able to catch Macaela
for a quick phone chat early in the week to see how it
was going. Macaela reported that the days were long,
often starting late-morning and continuing until dinner
time. But she also mentioned that she was enjoying the
experience and was learning a lot. Macaela reported
that of the fifty wrestlers in attendance, only *four*
were women.

An online chat I had with Melissa Coates confirmed much
of what Macaela mentioned. Long days of training were
the norm. Melissa also mentioned that she was learning
a lot and enjoying the experience. Other than Macaela,
Melissa said that the two other ladies were not
familiar. One lady was from Texas...apparently a
body builder or fitness girl...although not a BIG girl.
The fourth lady was from Australia. Whether she was
*originally* from Australia or currently living there
was not clear.

Both Macaela and Melissa should be returning home this
weekend...and perhaps we can hear more about their
OVW experience on G.L.O.R.Y.

We are in the process of setting up a G.L.O.R.Y. Chat
Room...would Macaela and Melissa be willing to
chat with G.L.O.R.Y. Fans about this past week in a
scheduled chat? Possibly. We're working on it and will
report on the G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board in the next few
days if we are able to get it together.

details about backstage happenings at the show, her
"comedy of errors" trip to Minneapolis and more. Once
Leena is through, Kendra is back to tell about her
upcoming bookings and pending wedding.

action pics from the Killer Babes vs. Tracy Brooks &
Cindy Rogers match. (And if you want to know how
intense the action was, just take a look at Eric's
picture of April Hunter and Nikki Roxx pinning Tracy
into the corner by jamming their boots into her
throat!)

We're giving you fair warning: DON'T WAIT TOO LONG TO
CHECK OUT THESE PICTURES! They will be rotated on a
regular basis as Eric snaps new stuff for us. So "out
with the old and in with the new" will be the course

This is my kind of site. Lots of news. Interviews.
Entertaining info.

Looking for fancy-shmancy graphics? Forget it! Won't
find 'em here. And I *DON'T* mean that as a knock on
the WC site. On the contrary, I mean that as a total
compliment.

Many times, you'll come across sites on the
Net that look beautiful. Full screen graphics. Nice
art design. Flash animation. That's great...for the
first few minutes. But after you get past the glitzy
graphics...well, as Clara Peller used to say..."Where's
the beef?!"

Wrestling Clothesline has news and columns devoted to
the indy scene, and they pay plenty of attention to the
women's division. They also have a great feature called
"10 Questions With..." where various wrestling
personalities answer (what else?) 10 questions about
themselves, their career or the business in general.
Quite a few G.L.O.R.Y. Girls have been the subject of
"10 Questions with..."

And at the time this newsletter is going out, WC has
a tribute to Mr. Rogers on their front page. Maybe I'm
just a softy...but I think that's nice.

1) Malia Hosaka = Trouble?

It only took Malia Hosaka one month to rile-up the
entire G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling community with her
opinions, challenges and taunts...most of which seem
to be aimed directly at current G.L.O.R.Y. Champion
Macaela Mercedes.

Ms. Hosaka has openly challenged Macaela to step into
the ring and face her one-on-one for the title. This
has engaged G.L.O.R.Y. followers in some pretty
contentious discussions.

Should Malia be allowed a title shot by virtue of her
experience and tenure in the business? Some say she
has paid her dues and deserves the shot. Others say
she has not paid her "G.L.O.R.Y. dues", and that other
girls on the site deserve a match with the champ
first. Still others have proposed a ranking system of
top contenders. A "ladder to climb" of sorts.

Then there are the fans who insist that the first
title shot should go to the former champ, Phoenix.
(Remember her? She's been strangely quiet lately.)

Back to Malia...she's stated outright that she "will
do whatever is necessary to ensure that Mercedes
keeps the G.L.O.R.Y. Title" until she has the
opportunity to take it from her. What the heck does
she mean with *that* statement?!

While everyone else is arguing and debating,
Ms. Mercedes has had little to say. One of the few
times she has weighed-in on the subject, she merely
laughed and told everyone that she enjoyed watching
them fight...and that she was happily sitting at
home polishing-up her G.L.O.R.Y. Championship trophy!

We don't know where this one is going to lead, but we
have a strong feeling that it's not over yet.

2) Hey...wanna chat?!

G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling is all about allowing the fans
to get to know their favorite ladies of the ring. So
what is the best way to get to know them?

By chatting with them, of course!

John The WebMaster is currently in the process of
setting up a special section of the G.L.O.R.Y. site
which will be used strictly for chatting with the
ladies of G.L.O.R.Y. A specific schedule has not yet
been decided upon...but when it is, we will let
everyone know the exact "when, where and who".

The idea to have a G.L.O.R.Y. Chat Room has been under
consideration for some time. Quite frankly, we were
hesitant to jump into it. While it has the potential
to become a very interesting and fun part of
G.L.O.R.Y., it also has the potential to be abused by
the few who do not know how to conduct themselves.
Still, it was decided that we should experiment with
it and see what happens.

The G.L.O.R.Y. Chat Room will debut shortly *on a
trial basis*. If the feedback is positive, we'll go
ahead and continue to build a regular chat schedule.
If the chat featured is abused by those who don't know
how to act responsibly, we'll pack it up and call it
a day.

As with most things on the site, G.L.O.R.Y. fans are
the ones who will have the final word on how it all
turns out. But the potential is there for this to
become a very exciting part of G.L.O.R.Y.!

Watch for some changes at the GloryWrestlingNews
Yahoo! Group. If you are receiving the newsletter via
email, then you are already a member of the group.
We have been using the Yahoo! Group exclusively for
its mailing list features. But, based on feedback
from many G.L.O.R.Y. fans, we've decided to utilize
other areas of the group. Namely: the "Photos"
section.

We are in the process of making arrangements with
G.L.O.R.Y. Photographers to display their action
photos of the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls in their own personal
folders provided in the group. Additionally, if a
G.L.O.R.Y. "Photog" gets some great action from a
show, they will be able to post their pictures into
the group immediately...allowing all fans to see the
results of their work ASAP.

6) G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board features added.

For you G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board fans...a couple of
new features to make things easier for you.

First, we've added a search feature to the board. Now,
you can type in a search term and find messages that
match your query.

For example, typing "fire" will show you all the
messages posted by G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Fire and all
messages that mention Fire. Of course, if someone
writes "Wow! There was a big fire in my neighborhood
this morning!"...that will show up, too. :)

Another feature we activated was an email notification
service. At the bottom of your message, you can now
click a checkbox which will allow you to be notified
via email whenever someone replies to your post. Of
course, you have to enter your correct email address
for this to work.

We hope both of these new features make the G.L.O.R.Y.
Message Board more valuable and more fun for you to
use.

=============================

We've streamlined the Match Results section of the
G.L.O.R.Y. site for your convenience. Rather than have
one long page (that may have taken a long time to
download depending on your Internet connection), we've
broken up the results by year. Now when you click the
"Match Results" button in the News section you'll go
to the very latest reports for 2003. As you
browse down the page, you'll see the results of
matches in reverse chronological order.

If you would like to see results from older matches,
click the links near the top of the page for 2002 and
2001 match results.

This new set-up should make things a lot faster for
you when checking out the latest results from your
favorite girls.

Also, we've reprogrammed the submission process for
match results you report to us. Nothing *you* can see
when submitting...but the info you send is in
a more convenient format for us. It will allow John
The WebMaster to get those results posted onto the
site a lot faster and lessen the chance of him
missing something.

1) Macaela Mercedes: New G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Champion!
==================================================

On January 12, 2003 at the Birchmount in Toronto,
Ontario, the G.L.O.R.Y. Championship changed hands for
the first time as Macaela Mercedes defeated Phoenix
in a twenty minute battle with a controversial ending
as the pair battled under the banner of the Apocalypse
Wrestling Federation.

A new rule was instituted this year whereby no AWF
matches for 2003 could end in a draw. That presented a
problem when the twenty minute time limit for this
match was reached. The bell rang as Macaela had
Phoenix's shoulders pinned to the mat for a two-count.

After a long delay, the referee in charge of the match
determined that the challenger--since she was within
one second of pinning the champion--should be declared
the official winner of the match. Phoenix was incensed
that she lost the title in such a manner, while
Macaela walked away with the G.L.O.R.Y. trophy.

This controversy seems to be far from over. Phoenix is
still griping about what she feels was the unjust
decision which cost her the title. Meanwhile, Macaela
is back home enjoying the feeling that comes with the
knowledge that she is at the very top of the
G.L.O.R.Y. heap.

In another development, many G.L.O.R.Y. fans have
become a little disgusted with Ms. Mercedes' sudden
attitude shift. Since winning the title, it seems that
"The Bombshell" has become quite cocky and arrogant...
a trait that does not endear her to many of the site's
fans.

2) G.L.O.R.Y. Resource Center Debuts.
=====================================

G.L.O.R.Y. is proud to introduce a new section of the
site devoted to helping workers and promoters become
more successful in the wrestling business.

The G.L.O.R.Y. Resource section consists of two parts:
Worker Resources and Promoter Resources.

The Worker Resource section will contain information
in various categories that workers will find useful.
Currently, categories include links for finding ring
attire, training schools and state licensing
requirements. More categories should be added soon.

A VERY important part of this section for the
G.L.O.R.Y. Girls is the new G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Booking
Database. This new feature on the site--available for
use ONLY by the workers who are listed on G.L.O.R.Y.--
contains contact info, as well as information on
what types of work each girl is looking for. We are
hopeful that this new feature will help all the
G.L.O.R.Y. Girls who participate in getting more work.

In the Promoter Resource section, categories currently
include info on state licensing requirements and ring
rental and sales info.

The G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Booking Database is also a
prominent part of the Promoter Resource section. After
acquiring a password to access this area of the site,
promoters will be able to search the G.L.O.R.Y. Girl
Database using various criteria. A couple of clicks
will find all the girls who are available to work in
your particular area. Or, you can search for girls for
a particular type of work (wrestle, catfight, referee,
etc). If you are in a license-required state, search
for girls who hold a license in your area.

We expect the G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Database to become an
invaluable resource in matching promoters with
workers. It should only help in giving fans more
opportunities to see the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls in action
live at their local federation shows.

Remember that this is a brand new section of the site,
so there is a lot more that will be added in the
future. If you have a suggestion about how this area
of the site can be made more valuable, or if you have
any info that you feel would be helpful for others
(new categories, additional links, etc.), feel
free to send it along to John The WebMaster for
inclusion in the Resource Center.

3) CRUSH looks like a SMASHING success!
=======================================

The first weekend of February was a big one for many
of the girls of G.L.O.R.Y. Twenty ladies from the site
were a part of the initial taping for a new TV show
to be called CRUSH.

The show's format is much like that of the popular
GLOW program from the late 80s. Beautiful ladies, lots
of wrestling, comedy sketches, dancing and more.

We're happy to report to everyone that over half of
the CRUSH roster was made up of many of your
G.L.O.R.Y. favorites!

We can't tell you a lot of details at this point,
since there is much to be done as far as producing the
show. One rumor has the program being developed as a
weekly show to be broadcast on Comedy Central. Repeat:
that is NOT confirmed at this point, but merely one
situation that has been suggested.

One thing we do know for sure is that the ladies who
were involved in the production had an amazing
experience. Every report we've heard so far has been
glowing, with the girls saying that they were treated
like "superstars" and "gold". Every lady reported that
the entire weekend was professionally handled.

We wish the CRUSH producers well and the best of luck
to all the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls who were involved.
Hopefully this will lead to bigger and better things
as a nationwide (and worldwide) audience learn more
about the CRUSH/G.L.O.R.Y. Girls.

4) Amanda Storm and ACW heat up New England.
============================================

The weather might be cold and blustery up in Maine,
but the wrestling is heating up as Atlas Championship
Wrestling has been making its mark on the New England
wrestling scene.

The ACW, run by former WWE superstar "Mr. USA" Tony
Atlas, has been committed since its inception to
bringing fans the best in female wrestling. No bra and
panty matches for ACW. Just good, hard, entertaining,
family-oriented wrestling shows.

Amanda Storm has been taking on all comers--female and
male--in ACW action. Other women who have graced ACW
rings include Athena and Trinity Campbell.

G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Trinity hits the big screen working as
the stunt double for Jennifer Garner in the hot new
action movie of 2003, Daredevil.

The movie, based on the blind comic book superhero,
opened this week...and it looks like it kept Trinity
busy as there is plenty of action involving
the movie's female lead.

6) No DQ & G.L.O.R.Y. team-up for Diva Talk.

No DQ Wrestling and G.L.O.R.Y. have teamed-up to bring
you Diva Talk!

Diva Talk will interview a top wrestling "diva" every
week...giving fans the chance to hear each guest talk
about herself, her career, her feelings on the state
of the wrestling business and more.

Interviews can be heard in their entirety via the
No DQ wrestling site, and in some cases, portions of
the interview will be broadcast on WNSA-FM (107.7) out
of Buffalo, NY. The show, which broadcasts throughout
Western New York State and Ontario, Canada, can be
heard every Saturday at 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time.
Don't live in the broadcast area? No problem. Log onto
the No DQ site and listen to the broadcast live over
the Web!

Diva Talk debuted February 10th with host Chris
Halen interviewing G.L.O.R.Y. Champ Macaela Mercedes.

A new show will air every Monday. This week's guest

7) G.L.O.R.Y. roster trimmed...
===============================

The G.L.O.R.Y. roster has been trimmed recently, with
a handful of the ladies profiles being removed from
the site.

While we were happy to bring you the information and
pictures of these G.L.O.R.Y. Girls, the fact of the
matter is: "life goes on". Some have moved onto other
interests. Others, after giving wrestling a try,
simply  decided that this was not for them. Others
have had personal or physical reasons for leaving the
business.

Robing Graves and Darcy D, for example, loved
wrestling as a part of BCW...a group which some called
a "backyard wrestling fed". From what we saw, BCW was
conducted as professionally as many other indy feds.
And even better than some. Unfortunately, when BCW
ceased to exist, Robin and Darcy decided to not pursue
a career in the industry...although we feel that they
could have done very well if they did continue.

Randy Gavin, Desire, Pandora, Silhouette, Star and
Trinity Payne are some of the other ladies who have
moved on to other things. We wish them all the very
best of luck and enjoyed having them on G.L.O.R.Y.

Why should they be removed from the site you ask?
Keeping their info intact wouldn't hurt, would it?

G.L.O.R.Y. is here for the purpose of promoting and
publicizing the ladies who are actively involved in
the indy wrestling scene. We want fans, promoters and
other wrestling insiders to be able to come to the site
and know they are seeing the very best, most popular
and "most serious" women in the business. To leave
girls up on the site who don't fit into that category
would not do anyone any good.

While it's nice to have as many G.L.O.R.Y. Girls as
possible, we aren't going to obsess over a number.
We'll leave other sites to compete over who has the
most girls. We'll just continue to concentrate on
bringing you the best, most active and most serious
indy girls we can bring you...girls who are actively
pursuing their dream of making it in (and alongside)
the wrestling ring.

1) G.L.O.R.Y. Newsletter Weekly PLUS...
=======================================

Okay everyone. We're going to make a few changes with
the G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling Newsletter now that
it's 2003.

Generally speaking, I'm going to try to make the GWN
a little more "informal"...and a lot more frequent.
The goal will be to send it out on a 7-10 day
schedule.

I think the problem before was that when we had big
news to report to you, it was done on the
G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling site. That left me searching for
something to use in the newsletter! The newsletter was
actually a duplicate of the G.L.O.R.Y. site in a lot
of ways. Long stories, articles, etc. So why duplicate
what people were reading on the site anyway?

Now, I'm planning to use the G.L.O.R.Y. Newsletter in
more of an easy-going format. (I prefer to write
that way anywho.)

So, I hope you like it. Less formal...more frequent.
Think of it as more of a "companion" to the G.L.O.R.Y.
Wrestling site.

Also: the newsletter is sent out using the Yahoo!
Groups mailing list feature as always. That means
there is an actual "GloryWrestlingNews" group on
Yahoo! That *also* means that it's possible for us to
utilize some of those extra features of Yahoo!
Groups...chat, picture galleries, files, etc.

Is anyone interested in seeing any of that stuff used?
Let me know with an email or on the G.L.O.R.Y. Message
Board. If G.L.O.R.Y. fans are interested, perhaps we
can do something within the Yahoo! Group format.

2) G.L.O.R.Y. Championship Rematch Sunday!
==========================================

This Sunday, January 12th, 2002 at The Birchmount in
Toronto, Ontario...the G.L.O.R.Y. Championship is once
again up for grabs as Macaela Mercedes heads north to
challenge Phoenix for the G.L.O.R.Y. title.

Back in November, you'll remember that Phoenix
retained her title...and won the right to take over
the G.L.O.R.Y. site for a full 24 hours. CHAOS ENSUED!

The circumstances surrounding Phoenix's win were
questionable at the time and some thought that "The
Fabulous Firebird" didn't deserve the victory. Others
were convinced that Phoenix did in fact out-wrestle
the challenger.

We'll see what happens this weekend when these two
G.L.O.R.Y Girls tangle again during Apocalypse
Wrestling's "Year Of The Jaguar" event.

3) 203 in 2003?
===============

In 2002, The WebMaster set a goal of reaching 140 on
the G.L.O.R.Y. Girl roster by the end of the year. At
the time the goal was set, we had 70 ladies on the
site. It was an ambitious goal...and unfortunately, we
didn't quite make it as we ended the year at 126.

So the question was asked on the message board: How
many ladies do we predict we'll have by December 31st
of 2003?

Someone suggested 200. A good round number.

We settled on 203. Why? Simply because we thought that
"203 in 2003" was a good, corny slogan that we could
sling around for the next 50 or so weeks. Can we make
it? We're going to try.

One of the conditions of reaching 203 is that we are
also going to be paring down the roster to include
only the girls who are still active. We'll be
contacting some of the girls who may or may not still
be involved in the business to find out what their
situation is.

So when/if we hit that 203...it will be a 203-strong
"lean and mean" roster.

4) Felina on Smackdown?
=======================

Most everyone knows by now that G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Felina
has been signed by the WWE as their newest female
Superstar.

By all accounts, Felina is doing great and the WWE
people seem to be very happy with the newest addition
to their roster. (Was there ever any doubt?!)

From what we hear, Felina is having a GREAT time
living out her dream as the WWE folks keep her busy
with dark matches at their events across the country.
We don't have an EXACT date for Felina's debut on
Smackdown, but we understand that is is imminent.

Keep your TVs tuned to Smackdown on Thursday nights
and hopefully we will be seeing Felina debut shortly
as WWE's newest and hottest DIVA!

5) WWE eyes ODB!
================

Speaking of WWE...

It seems as though they have their eyes on another
G.L.O.R.Y. Girl: ODB.

The muscular G.L.O.R.Y. favorite is scheduled to
wrestle dark matches for WWE when they swing through
the Great Lakes region shortly...so we know they are
taking a look!

ODB has the body and the attitude that should capture
WWE decision-makers. Her bodybuilding experience could
easily make her a "Chyna-esque" character...and we
know how much WWE liked using Chyna (pretty much on a
weekly basis) when she was with them.

ODB has promised to let us know how her dark matches
go. When she does, we'll pass along the info to
G.L.O.R.Y. fans.

6) No DQ Radio & Web site.
==========================

Check out No DQ. Both the radio show and the Web site.

These guys know how to have fun with the business
while still being intelligent, thorough and witty
with their radio show.

The No DQ site is just as well-run. Nicely designed
and containing pertinent news items regarding WWE and
the indy scene, these guys make sure they cover the
ladies division, too.

They have interviewed G.L.O.R.Y.'s Angel Williams,
reported on the upcoming G.L.O.R.Y. Championship
match, covered the ladies who will be wrestling this
weekend for Ring Of Honor, and even featured a couple
of G.L.O.R.Y. Girls in their "Diva Of The Month"
section.

Chris Halen and crew broadcast their radio show out of
Buffalo, New York, but is also simulcast over their
Web site for those who are not in the Western New York
State area.

7) G.L.O.R.Y. Store to be updated.

The G.L.O.R.Y. Store will be updated with some new
products shortly.

Why the holdup? Well, The WebMaster needed to learn
all about stuff like "video capture cards" and
"DVD authoring". Not as exciting as bodyslams...but
necessary for editing future videos and offering a
DVD option to fans who would rather use that format.

We'll be announcing some exciting new items shortly.

It's that time of year!

Time to pick the most outstanding G.L.O.R.Y. Pictures
Of The Day from the OVER 365 that you've seen since
the last awards were conducted.

The 2002 G.L.O.R.Y. POD Awards include the last couple
of months of 2001 as well. Don't ask. It's one of
those "calendar things". But now that we're on
schedule you can expect the awards every January from
here on out.

Today is the last day to nominate your favorite
pictures from all that have appeared as
G.L.O.R.Y. PODs.

G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling will soon be debuting a new
section on the site which we hope will help workers,
promoters and the business in general.

A new resource center is planned which we hope will be
helpful to workers' needs as they relate to contacts,
licenses, training, gear, etc. As for promoters, we
are planning on introducing a way for you to hook-up
with workers who can be a part of your shows and
events.

What will G.L.O.R.Y. fans get out of this?

Nothing. Directly...

But G.L.O.R.Y. figures that anything which may make
the lives of workers and promoters a little easier
can only serve to help the business in general. And
if the wrestling business is healthy, the fans benefit
indirectly.

You should see the G.L.O.R.Y. Resource Center opening
in stages over the next several months.

10) Malia Hosaka comes to G.L.O.R.Y.!
=====================================

The WebMaster is happy to have a long-time personal
favorite lady of the ring join us on here on
G.L.O.R.Y....it's Malia Hosaka!

Malia has been a favorite since her rookie days of
the mid-80s when she was featured in many of the
wrestling magazines. Her beautiful, exotic looks and
obvious ring talents captured the attention of many.
That's why she's worked for WWE, WCW and most other
major indy feds during her career...not to mention
numerous tours around the world.

Ms. Hosaka is the first new G.L.O.R.Y. Girl of 2003...
but you can expect a lot more ladies to be joining her
on the roster soon!

on June 8th. The big event is only three weeks away!

While many matches have been set for the June 8th
G.L.O.R.Y. Convention, others are still being
negotiated.

Those set as of this moment...

* Alicia vs. Allison Danger
* Ariel vs. Phoenix
* Sonya Blackhawk vs. Lady Vendetta
* Tiffani Monroe vs. Little Jeanne

Also, negotiations are underway to showcase our lovely
managers and valets--Destiny's Diamond, Luxurious
Lynne, Princess Jade and Candi--in a "friendly
competition". What that contest will be is still being
worked out. Any news on a decision or agreement will be
reported on the G.L.O.R.Y. site as soon as it's
confirmed.

==> Alicia-Allison Danger: Friendship Over?
==>

Until recently, Allison Danger and Alicia had as
close to a "big sister-little sister" relationship as
you could get without actually being related. With
Alicia training for the ring, Allison has been a
friend, teacher, mentor and coach. That relationship
hit a snag a couple of months ago when Alicia debuted
on G.L.O.R.Y. The first thing the young rookie did was
knock Ms. Danger out of the top spot on the G.L.O.R.Y.
Hot 50 chart! Not a big deal, you say? Well, tell that
to the girls who shoot for the top spot every month.

While Allison has continued to work with Alicia, their
training sessions have taken a decidedly rougher turn.
Insiders tell us that the bumps have been harder...the
maneuvers more intense...and the holds have been held
a little longer than necessary on occasion.

Is the friendship between Allison Danger and her young
charge Alicia near an end? Or is this merely a bump in
the road which will be smoothed over by their June 8th
battle?

==>  Sonya Blackhawk: Super-Confident Rookie? Or...
==>

Some have admired Sonya Blackhawk's confidence for
going after veteran Lady Vendetta this early in her
career. Since hitting the wrestling scene in late-2001,
Blackhawk has literally tailed Vendetta across the
Midwest...often showing up at cards where the battling
blonde is booked to appear against other opponents.
There has also been some sparring between the two
ladies on the G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board at times. Is it
confidence that the fiery redhead is displaying in her
taunting of the STOP sign-wielding grappler?

Perhaps. But while some would call it confidence,
others call it suicidal! As Sonya turns up the heat
on Vendetta, it seems as though the wiley ring vet may
merely be biding her time until their G.L.O.R.Y.
match-up. Will Sonya Blackhawk give Lady Vendetta a run
for her money? Or is the youngster just setting herself
up for a disastrous fall?

==> Phoenix: Grudging Respect For Ariel?
==>

From the "This Is Hard To Believe Department": It seems
as though the guts that Ariel showed in asking to be
matched against Phoenix on June 8th has actually
*impressed* the Fabulous Firebird.

Rather than attack, threaten and insult the New England
rookie through the offices of her press agent (as per
Phoenix's usual method of operation), the
self-proclaimed "greatest female wrestler in the ring
today" has actually expressed what appears to be a
grudging respect. From Phoenix's Web site:

"The wrestling world will never be the same after the
FIRST ever GLORY GIRL wrestling convention and show
comes to a reality June 8th.  Up and coming high flyer,
Ariel was the first to step up to the plate after it
was announced that Phoenix had DEMANDED to be a part of
this highly publicized event."

Could Phoenix be softening up a bit? Is she calming
down as she gains experience in this business? Perhaps
she's looking forward to a good, clean, hard-fought
match with her rookie opponent?

Nahhhhhhhhhh...!

==> Tiffani In Career-Making Match Vs. Jeanne?
==>

If there's one thing that Tiffani Monroe doesn't lack,
it's confidence. She has enough of that to pass around
an entire locker room of wrestlers...and still have
plenty left over! So the fact that she has been
matched-up against veteran grappler Little Jeanne on
June 8th has not phased the blonde battler one bit.

Monroe freely admits that Jeanne will be a tough
competitor. But she also says she's not worried in the
least about their upcoming match. In fact, Tiffani
can't wait to step through the ropes against one of the
best indy wrestlers on the scene today.

"After I beat Jeanne, it just puts me that much further
up the ladder," the confident and somewhat cocky
cowgirl stated.

"Continually beating Flayre, Sahara, Sienna Blaze and
all the others has become common place. But after I pin
Little Jeanne on June 8th, it brings Tiffani Monroe to
the attention of fans everywhere."

"I've heard that kind of talk before," Jeanne
responded with a smirk when told of her opponent's
statement.

"Another one who thinks she'll make her career by
pinning me. She can talk all she wants. I'll do my
talking in the ring. And you can bet Tiffani Monroe
won't like what she hears..."

==> Wildcards: Victoria, McLean...
==>

While we can plan and schedule to our heart's content,
the fact of the matter is that with so many G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls under one roof...who can guarantee WHAT will
happen on June 8th?

* Lady Victoria's email which we received just a couple
of days ago proves that emotions run high among these
tough ladies. Victoria, apparently upset with
G.L.O.R.Y. about the talent we were bringing in for the
show, told us point-blank that she was coming to New
Jersey and nothing was going to stop her! We decided
to formally invite the muscular grappler to appear.
But will Lady V. be looking to do more? She's
threatened to get involved physically in the matches!
Is it all a ploy...or does Lady Victoria indeed intend
to crash the proceedings?

* Kiley McLean has also been said to be upset about
not being invited to compete in the G.L.O.R.Y. matches.
A rumor has been circulating that G.L.O.R.Y. match-
makers purposely skipped over McLean because they felt
the powerful wrestler would plow through the rest of
the competitors on the card. I can put that rumor to
rest by saying that it is totally false and has
absolutely no basis in fact. But what I say doesn't
count for much. What matters is: What does Ms. McLean
believe?

==> GLORYcon Press Coverage.
==>

Press coverage of the G.L.O.R.Y. Convention looks like
it will be pretty extensive as we have photographers
representing four magazines planning to join us. Also,
we have gotten inquiries from both a New York and a
Canadian television station about the event.

With three weeks to go until June 8th, we wouldn't be
surprised if more wrestling and mainstream press became
involved in covering this first-ever G.L.O.R.Y. show.

==> llwjr, YOCKEY Donate Tickets.
==>

G.L.O.R.Y. Girl fans llwjr (also known as
ChristmasBaby57) and YOCKEY (ALWAYS CAPITALIZED!) found
they were unable to attend the convention due to prior
commitments. But that didn't stop them from getting
involved.

Both fans showed their support of the ladies when they
each purchased a Super Ticket package...and then
donated the ticket portion to a young fan so that he or
she would be able to attend the show in their place.
AJ Sparxx is working through the Tomorrow's Children
Fund to make this all happen.

I'm sure all the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls and AJ Sparxx
join me in thanking llwjr and YOCKEY for their
thoughtful and generous actions. :)

2) G.L.O.R.Y. Rumors

==> Foxy Stalking Luxurious Lynne?
==>

Anyone who follows the indy scene in the
New Jersey/New York area can tell you about Foxy and
Luxurious Lynne. To put it in its simplest terms: THEY
HATE EACH OTHER!

Foxy thinks Lynne is a spoiled brat who always has to
get her way...no matter who else it affects. Anytime
she has the opportunity to get her hands on "The
Luxurious One", she takes it. Foxy has publicly
threatened to go after Lynne at the convention on
G.L.O.R.Y.'s own message board...and she's not even
scheduled to be at the show!

For her part, Luxurious Lynne hates Foxy just as much.
Why? Because Foxy doesn't like her! In fact, Lynne
can't understand how anyone *couldn't* love her.

Catfight time on the convention floor?

==> Sienna Blaze To Crash The Party?
==>

With Sienna Blaze's recent addition to the G.L.O.R.Y.
site, she becomes a possible factor in this event for a
number of reasons:

1) She lives relatively close to the convention venue.

2) She may want to prove that her NEPW Heavyweight
Title is no fluke by challenging some of the G.L.O.r.Y.
Girls who are scheduled to appear.

3) She was recently defeated in a match by Tiffani
Monroe. Could revenge be on her mind?

==> Male Indy Stars To Scout Convention Floor?
==>

Another rumor that has been swirling since our
convention announcement is that some male indy stars
may be planning to attend the event. The reason? It's
been said that some are looking for valets and managers
to assist them. It could also be that, like other
G.L.O.R.Y. visitors, they are big fans of these
gorgeous and talented ladies. Who could blame them for
wanting to be at this show?

What's the deal about June 8th?

That seems to be the buzz among G.L.O.R.Y. fans who
have written into the site's message board or who have
emailed The WebMaster.

After a couple of quite innocent Pictures Of The Day
mentioned the date, people have been thinking that
something special must be happening in a few weeks.
Isn't it possible that it's just a coincidence?
I mean, there are only 365 days in a year, right? Why
does everyone always assume there's some ulterior
motive or something?!

But if there *is* something to it, there just may be
an announcement in 72 hours or so...

Expect a G.L.O.R.Y. Girl flood in the next several
weeks. While other things have been consuming the time
of this webmaster, profiles of new ladies have been
few and far between. But that doesn't mean that
prospective G.L.O.R.Y. Girls have not been in contact
to be a part of the site.

On the contrary, we have perhaps the biggest backlog
of glamorous grapplers, marvelous managers and violent

Since our last newsletter, one of the most popular
additions to the site has been the G.L.O.R.Y. Hot 50
(GH50).

The chart, which ranks the 50 most popular G.L.O.R.Y.
ladies based on the previous month's G.L.O.R.Y. Girl
voting totals, has caused a bit of a stir among fans.

And it has also caused quite a stir among promoters!

It seems that many indy promoters have been monitoring
the GH50 closely to see "who's hot" on the women's
indy scene. Apparently, they regard G.L.O.R.Y. fans as
something of an authority on the sport. And they're
right!

And if you assume that they only look at the top few
positions of the list...think again. Many promoters
and people in the wrestling business delve quite far
into the chart stats to see what's going on. Is a girl
a Hot Mover? Is a wrestler slowly but surely climbing
up the chart month after month? Has a manager proved
her steady popularity by remaining on the chart for
numerous months? All seem to be factors which are
apparently being taken into account.

All the more reason why every legitimate vote for your
favorite lady could make the difference in her being
"noticed by the right people".

It has recently been announced that our own Candi has
been named the Pin-Up Girl for May's POW (WOW UK)
magazine.

Look for a nice 10 page layout which will include an
exclusive interview.

It sounds like it's going to be a great treat for all

So now we know why we haven't seen PMS in action at
Joe Rules side for much of the past year!

We're happy to report that Ms. Steinman is a new mommy
after giving birth to Lucus Austin "Steinman" on
March 19, 2002. The future WWF Superstar weighed in
at 7 pounds, 3 ounces!

"Gavin Michael". And if she has a little wrestlerette?
In that case, the birth certificate will read
"Gavrie Jade".

Well, you knew that it was only a matter of time
before the combination of Violet Flame and Southern
California led to an acting job for our talented and
sexy G.L.O.R.Y. Girl.!

Violet is co-starring in the decidedly low-budget (yet
special-effects filled) video "The Stooges--Episode V:
Die, Stooges, Die". The film, produced by Matt Spease,
has Violet playing the role of an evil space princess.

Mmmm...at least...I *think* she is playing the part of
an evil space princess. You can check out the plot of

K-I-S-S-I-N-G...

Seems lately that wherever Red of the S.A.T. team
goes, Allison Danger is not far away. Sure they make
a formidable pair when teaming together--what with Red
being recognized as one of the hottest new stars in
the ring today and Allison managing his career from
ringside while watching his back as needed.

But this webmaster thinks there's something more to
this pairing than just grappling success. Photos of
the two young wrestling stars together always seem to
show a sparkle in the eyes of the G.L.O.R.Y. Girl. A
sparkle which doesn't seem to be present when Red is
not around.

While the pair are undoubtedly a hot commodity in the
wrestling business (as attested to by their many
bookings)...are Allison and Red "an item" away from
the ring as well?

==> New Girl(s) To Invade AWF?
==>

The success of the Ladies Division of Canada's
Apocalypse Wrestling Federation has been recognized by
many throughout the course of 2001...and now well
into 2002.

But as Tracy, La Felina and Phoenix grapple for the
right to be called "the top female of AWF", we hear
that other women have set their sights on the
Apocalypse ring. Not surprising...

While Ron Hutchison--the man who trained Trish
Stratus on the basics of pro wrestling--is occupied
with keeping his three gorgeous ladies from destroying
each other, it may be a great opportunity for a new
lady to try and jump into the AWF spotlight.

The question is: Would a new girl come in on the "dark
side" and form an alliance with the Fabulous Firebird
Phoenix? That would spell trouble for fan favorites
Tracy and the formerly-masked La Felina.

On the other hand, a new girl coming into the
organization who competes more along the lines of the
AWF brunettes would be a disaster for Phoenix. The
rugged villainess has had her hands full with the
Apocalypse fan favorites as it is. But one against
three? Those are odds that even Phoenix couldn't
overcome.

Still, if we had to bet on it...we'd go with Phoenix
having a female accomplice somewhere down the road.

==> WOW Comeback?

Is WOW dead?

Many had thought so as the organization wrapped-up its
initial run last year without securing a second season
of television broadcasts. But could Women Of Wrestling
be making a comeback?

Possibly. But if it happens, don't expect it to look
the same. There seem to be questions as to whether
WOW top man David McLane would be back.

Other rumors surrounding WOW have linked KISS
member Gene Simmons to the company. Purportedly buying
a controlling stake in the organization, people have
wondered if the wrestling would become more
"adult-oriented" in its style.

This is one that we'll just have to sit back and just
watch as it plays out...

==> GeeStar/Amber Holly Grudge Match Set?
==>

It's not news to G.L.O.R.Y. fans that GeeStar and
Amber Holly have been beating the hell out of each
other across the Carolinas as each girl tries to prove
that she is the top gun of Mid-Atlantic wrestling
rings. But we hear that this feud has gotten personal.

Very personal.

Apparently, the two ladies want to settle their
differences in private...away from the eyes of
ringside fans and the distractions of interfering
wrestling partners.

We've learned that arrangements are being worked out
for a private grudge match to take place between these
intense rivals. No ref...no fans...no outside
interference. Just GeeStar and Amber Holly alone in
the ring. With the hatred these two ladies feel
towards each other, who knows what kind of carnage may
ensue if such a battle is booked?

If it happens, it could be a career-ender for the
unfortunate loser. The question is...

Who would step out of that ring with the victory?

==> Has Ariel Had Enough?
==>

As Ariel's popularity has exploded within the New
England wrestling scene...and with SCCW fans in
particular...we hear that the G.L.O.R.Y. Girl has been
looking to expand her working area.

Usually content to work SCCW and YPW events as she
hones her ring skills, it seems as though Ariel has
been looking for opportunities elsewhere. Why?

Some rumors had been swirling that the talented and
energetic teen sensation was tiring of the constant
sniping aimed at her on the SCCW message board. She
wanted to distance herself from the negative
comments...or so the rumors would lead you to believe.

While the unfair and sometimes downright nasty
comments aimed at her certainly can't be pleasant to
read, we think that Ariel is made of tough stuff.
In our opinion, it would take more than the comments
of a few foul-tempered fans (or jealous workers?) to
chase this girl out of SCCW.

We think there's a simple reason why Ariel has been
looking elsewhere: she's probably been getting offers
elsewhere! It was only a matter of time before this
energetic wrestler's star would start to rise.

So while a miniscule number of detractors continue to
insult and make themselves look bad in the process,
Ariel just keeps working hard at gaining experience,
fans, skills and recognition.

It's as simple as that...

Who says I'm a GRINCH?!

Well, just my wife, family, friends, acquaintances...

But I'm going to prove them wrong! How? By giving all
G.L.O.R.Y. fans a little holiday present.

You know, the G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board is pretty
unique as far as wrestling sites go. Most everyone is
friendly. There's little, if any, name calling. Posts
are respectful of the wrestlers and other fans. We
have fans who post funny messages...thoughtful
messages...encouraging messages. The ladies get
involved in the discussions.

It's turned into quite a unique place...with unique
fans. The G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board has actually
become an integral part of the site.

That's why it deserves to be free of those annoying
pop-up and pop-under advertising windows. And so...
The WebMaster has made it that way.

The advertising messages run by the hosting company
are a nuisance that G.L.O.R.Y. visitors won't have to
deal with any longer. Think of it as a holiday gift
from me to you--for all the support you've shown in
keeping the board active, interesting, funny and most
of all...polite.

==> Legends Of The Ring Division: Smashing Success!

The new Legends Of The Ring Division was introduced in
November with the very first lady being the incredible
Penny Banner. Fan response was overwhelming as
Ms. Banner's Profile Page and the Legends Page were
hit over 3,700 times by visitors.

A few days ago, we added our second ring legend,
Natasha The Hatchet Lady. Natasha's Profile and
Picture Page have already been visited well over
1,000 times.

And we have some more legends who are going to be
joining us in the near future! As the classic ladies
of the ring realize that there are G.L.O.R.Y. fans who
admire and respect what they've accomplished, they
seem to be more than happy to be associated with the
site.

The email I've received from the current ladies, the
legends and the fans has been 100% positive. It's
great to see the current fans rediscovering the stars
of past years who have helped to pave the way for
today's ladies. By the same token, fans of the legends
have come to G.L.O.R.Y. and discovered what the
current ladies of the ring have to offer. Some are
surprised to see that the indy girls *do* wrestle.
(What?) They *do* wrestle. They are athletes who do
more than the gravy, spanking and bra and panty
matches which dominate the WWF.

I've also heard that some of the current G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls have contacted our legends to thank them for
what they've done for women in the sport, ask them
questions, or to just introduce themselves and
say "Hello". Wonderful!

As more ladies join the Legends Of The Ring Division
and the current G.L.O.R.Y. Pro Division, only good
things seem to be on the horizon for getting the
ladies of the sport the recognition and respect they
deserve.

G.L.O.R.Y.'s Photographers Gallery debuted a couple of
weeks ago to positive reviews as Eric Shaffer's work
was highlighted. Since then, we've added the
photography of Danielle D'Adamo.

Both Eric and Danielle are fans of indy wrestling, and
their pictures reflect that fact. Both get down at
ringside and capture the action as it happens. They
shoot right through the ropes...up close and personal
with the action that's taking place on the mat.

Both photographers will be updating their pages on a
regular basis. And we've gotten inquiries from other
wrestling photographers who have asked to display
their work in G.L.O.R.Y.'s Photographers Gallery. It
looks like another new site feature that is ready to
takeoff!

If any other photographers are out there and you want
a forum for your wrestling-related work, contact
G.L.O.R.Y. to see if we can work something out with
you. Your pictures must be of G.L.O.R.Y. Girls or
perhaps girls that are not yet on the site, but soon
might be. In other words, WWF Diva pictures or photos
of male wrestling stars won't really work for us. You
must also be willing to update us with new pictures
for your page every couple of weeks or so. It's not
easy...there's work to be done on your part. But it
should be worth it for the extra exposure your
pictures will get from being on G.L.O.R.Y.

Since our early-November newsletter, we've made a
change to the G.L.O.R.Y. Home Page. Gone is the
explanation of what G.L.O.R.Y. is with just a few
news headlines at the top.

Instead, the front page has become a news-rich
entrance to the site. All news items on G.L.O.R.Y. are
now listed on the front page. A short explanation
includes a link to the related section inside the
site, as well as an appropriate picture or other
graphic. The news items are dated and stacked on top
of each other...older stuff near the bottom, newest
stuff at the top.

This really is the only entrance you should use to
make sure you keep on top of everything at the site.
Glance at this page on each visit and you'll be sure
to stay current on all things G.L.O.R.Y.-related.

==> Ariel To Battle Crazy Mexican For Women's Title?
==>

Yes, it's true. December 29th, Ariel will  be taking
on The Crazy Mexican for the SCCW Women's Title. How
did this all come about?

Well, everyone knows that Ariel and El Loco Mexicano
have been feuding for much of 2001. Although Ariel has
come out on top in their many battles so far, she's
certainly taken a pounding along the way. And none
was worse than on November 30th.

That's when The Crazy Mexican actually tricked Ariel
into accepting him as a tag partner! When Ariel's
scheduled partner couldn't wrestle due to an injury,
Crazy Mex convinced Ariel that they should "bury the
hatchet". Ariel had no reason to believe that the
masked man was less than sincere.

Unfortunately, once the tag match started against two
of the biggest, nastiest male wrestlers in SCCW, Ariel
quickly realized that she had made a mistake. The
Crazy Mexican refused to tag into the match. Instead,
he stood in his corner and simply watched as poor
Ariel was slammed, stomped, punched, pounded and
decimated by every move that her opponents could
manage. Even double teams by the two big men weren't
enough to bring Ariel's "partner" into the action.

When The Crazy Mexican *did* finally get involved, it
was to help in attacking Ariel!

No sooner was Ariel saved by some fellow wrestlers who
appeared from the backstage area, than a challenge was
made. The Women's Title was put up for grabs. Ariel
would face The Crazy Mexican, one-on-one, to see who
would walk away with the gold.

Can our G.L.O.R.Y. Girl defeat the six-foot tall,
190-pound masked Mexican? She has before, but who
knows how badly The Crazy One wants to hold a
championship? He has yet to capture any SCCW belt...
so what lengths might he go to in order to win one?

We'll know on December 29th. Either Ariel will be
holding the Women's Belt up high...or she may be a
total wreck after her battle with the unpredictable
Mexican madman.

==> Dakota Returns To The Ring; But First...
==>

An old friend has recently contacted G.L.O.R.Y.!

Those of you who have been around from G.L.O.R.Y.'s
early days certainly remember Dakota. The powerful
amazon easily took care of her many female opponents,
and she just as easily took care of many of the men
in the feds she regularly worked. She was a crowd
favorite. She holds the distinction of being the
first G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Of The Month winner back in
July of 2000.

When she announced her retirement in the Spring of
this year, many were shocked. Dakota told her fans
that she had gotten married, and she wanted time off
so that she and her new husband could do some
traveling and "chill out" from the hustle and bustle
of the wrestling business.

As the months rolled by, fans wondered if Dakota would
ever see action in the ring again.

We're happy to report that Dakota has made plans to
return to the ring wars. But, she has a little project
that she has to take care of in the meantime...

Dakota and her husband are expecting to have a baby in
May, 2002! Our hearty congratulations go out to the
happy couple!

Dakota has indicated that after the baby arrives--and
she has a little time to get back into fighting
shape--she fully intends to step through the ropes
again. We're looking forward to that happening and, of
course, we'll keep you informed of everything that is
going on with Dakota as we hear it.

==> Precious Lucy Takes A NASTY Beating!

Alex Trabek: "She's one of the most hardcore ladies in
wrestling today."

Vince: "Who is Stacey Keibler?"

BZZZZZZ....BZZZZZZ

Alex Trabek: "Oh, I'm so sorry Vince."

Vince: "What do mean 'you're so sorry?' Don't you
know that I can buy and sell you a hundred times
over?! DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!!! I SAY IT'S STACEY
KEIBLER, DAMMIT!!!"

Alex Trabek: "The correct answer Vince, and ladies
and gentlemen, is Precious Lucy."

Enough playing around. Lucy certainly wasn't playing
around on November 30th. In fact, Precious Lucy found
herself in BIG trouble when she and her tag team
partner (and student), Sweet Cherrie, took on two
nasty men in action north of the border.

How bad was it for Lucy? Well, after the two men took
care of her young teammate, they both turned on Lucy.
And as if a two-on-one wasn't bad enough, a THIRD
accomplice jumped into the picture and began beating
on our hardcore G.L.O.R.Y. Girl!

Lucy was thrown into the ringside barricade, nailed in
the back and head with a steel chair, and worked over
with a chain for good measure by the dastardly
trio. The bloodied and bashed Lucy took one of the
worst beatings of her career.

How bad was it? She couldn't go to work the day after
the ordeal. So much for the old "wrestling is fake"
argument.

Lucy and Cherrie plan on getting even for the beating
they took. And they plan on getting even soon. We'll
be covering more of Precious Lucy's exploits as they
happen on  the G.L.O.R.Y. site.

==> Feuds Galore!

The feuds continue to simmer between the G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls...

* Flayre continues to be the target of both Sasha and
Kiley McLean:

Sasha claims that Flayre is trying to run
from her. Flayre's response is that the blonde
wrestler/manager seems unwilling to commit to dates
where the two can settle their recent differences with
a rematch of their Autumn tag-team battle.

Kiley Mclean, meanwhile, is fuming that she lost the
GWA Women's Title to the Flayre. The "on a roll
redhead" defeated Ms. McLean earlier this month to
take the belt in what many are saying is one of the
biggest upsets of the year on the women's scene.
Big, powerful Kiley is claiming that there's no way
Flayre legitimately defeated her for the championship.

Looks like Flayre definitely has her hands full with
these two fired-up opponents. And hope she doesn't

* Sonya Blackhawk and Lady Vendetta have been tossing
words back and forth on the G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board
recently. Perhaps it's just a little friendly rivalry
between the two ladies who work together at times in
the same training facility. Or maybe it's something
more...

Sonya Blackhawk has really gotten a lot of attention
since her debut on G.L.O.R.Y. two weeks ago. Could
"Lady V" resent the quick rise of the young star? Is
Sonya perhaps feeling a little too confident with her
new found fame? We don't know...yet. But it will be
worth keeping an eye towards Indiana rings in
early-2001 to see if these two ladies tangle in a more
physical nature. If we had to guess, we'd say that
there's something bigger brewing here...

* The GeeStar and Amber Holly hatred continues to run
deep. There's no new news here, really. These two
ladies have been beating the hell out of each other
for over six months now!

GeeStar has been challenging Holly to do battle with
her wherever and whenever she can. Despite the
accusations from the powerful and raucous brawler that
Ms. Holly has been trying to duck her, the blonde
grappling star has shown up for each contest for what
has turned out to be all-out warfare between Carolina
ring ropes. Their feud has even crossed over into
tag team territory, where they bring in Michael Yamaha
and the Gemini Kid as support for their knock-down,
drag-out intergender matches.

We hear that there's a possibility the PGWA--one
of the premier all-ladies wrestling associations in
the world--is trying to bring these two ladies
together for an anything goes, woman-to-woman private
grudge match to settle their differences once and for
all! If that happens...expect a reading of at
least 7.0 on the Richter Scale!

A lot of the buzz around Toronto's Apocalypse
Wrestling Federation (AWF) has revolved lately around
the Ladies Division. Tracy has wrestled the mask right
off the head of the gorgeous La Felina. Phoenix has
caused a major commotion in the few months that she's
been in the picture.

Meanwhile, Violet Flame--who traveled to Canada this
past summer to be a part of AWF's Canadian National
Exposition tour--has been keeping an eye on the
situation from down here in the states.

Add to that the fact that we hear there are some new
girls looking to make their mark in AWF.

All of this begs the question: Will AWF spin-off the
women into their own organization? The rumor mill has
been batting this one around lately. Some say it will
happen. Others say it's being resisted by the male
faction of AWF...who feel that perhaps fans may pay
attention to the distaff side at the expense of the
men. Official word from AWF is, well, nothing. There
is no official word.

So for the time being, all of this has to be looked at
as exactly what it is: rumor and speculation. Of
course, if there is any official word from AWF
officials about future plans for the ladies, we'll be
sure to bring it to you.

==> Will XWF *Really* Give The Women A Chance?

By now, most of you know about this new national
wrestling federation that is promising to give the WWF
a run for its money. The group has plans to use
former-WWF and WCW big name talent to make an
immediate impact with fans. Wrestlers such as Roddy
Piper, Hulk Hogan, Buff Bagwell, Brutus "the Barber"
Beefcake, Doink The Clown, Vampiro and others have
been mentioned as stars who have agreed to perform for
the fledgling company.

One thing that has been missing from all the hype of
this new promotion, as far as G.L.O.R.Y. fans are
concerned, is the women. Where are the lady stars?

Some people have said that the XWF is just not
interested in having a ladies division. According to
them, the XWF has been looking at using the ladies as
valets only...a blow to the grappling ladies who are
working hard to make it to the "big show."

But wait a second! G.L.O.R.Y. hears differently. One
of our sources--a source that we would classify as
*very* reliable--has told us that not only is the XWF
planning on having female talent on their wrestling
roster...they're looking to push the women in a
BIG way.

More good news: apparently the organization is looking
for newer, fresher faces who are performing throughout
the indy circuit. Farfetched? We don't think so. We
know that there are ladies who have not done the
WWF/WCW/ECW routine and who are talented and ready for
the chance to show their stuff to a national audience.
Many of the ladies on the G.L.O.R.Y. site right now
could fit the bill.

Is it possible that some of the ladies of G.L.O.R.Y.
are being scouted right now? Can't say for sure. After
all, that's why this report is showing-up in the
"G.L.O.R.Y. Rumors" section of the newsletter.

But what is it that they like to say? Oh yeah, "Where
there's smoke..."

Some G.L.O.R.Y. names have been talked about as
possible additions to the Professional Girl Wrestling
Association's roster.

We reported in a past issue that Awesome Anne and her
daughter Charisma were scheduled to travel over from
Great Britain to take part in a PGWA event. That
happened earlier this month.

Last issue we told you that K.C. Kelly might be
stepping through the ropes for the North Carolina
group.

Now we hear that G.L.O.R.Y. Girls GeeStar and Nicole
Starr may be showing up at PGWA...along with the girl
that everyone loves to hate, "The Fabulous Firebird"
Phoenix. Nothing is ever certain until the names are
signed on the dotted line, remember. But if we had to
guess, we'd lay our money on the fact that you'll see
these competitive ladies in PGWA action sooner rather
than later.

In what has turned into an almost nightly ritual on
the G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board...blonde bombshell, Web
model and indy wrestling star Tracii Taylor has been
having some not-so-innocent conversations with NEPW
wrestling star Brock Landers.

The long-distance "love connection" started taking
shape after Brock and his NEPW cohorts--T-Bonz,
Sienna, Damian, Bill Ding (Bill Ding!), and others--
crashed onto the G.L.O.R.Y. Board out of the blue a
few weeks ago.

It seemed that Tracii was immediately smitten with
Brock's witty repartee and sense of humor. But when
she saw a video clip that was posted on the NEPW Web
site of Brock wrestling in his shiny tights...the
G.L.O.R.Y. beauty *really* seemed to take an interest
in the Northeastern wrestler.

We have to believe that the pair have hooked-up on
some private email exchanges or chat conversations by
now. Based on how they've teased with each other in
public on the message board, we can only imagine how
steamy the conversations are one-on-one!

So what now? Will Tracii travel to New England Pro
Wrestling territory? Or will Brock Landers run to find
Tracii? Perhaps they'll meet halfway.

And can this all lead to a professional relationship?
Mixed tag teams are a common occurrence these days.
Maybe a team of Tracii Taylor and Brock Landers--"The
Playmate And The Playboy"--would be a force to be
taken seriously. Foxy and Joe Rules might have some
concerns in this regard. So might Ariel and Johnny
Angel.

And what would the NEPW's resident tough girl, Sienna,
have to say about all this? Would she look at
Ms. Taylor as a rival trying to elbow her way into
*her" NEPW territory? Could the two ladies coexist?
Could Brock's heart stand the strain of such a
situation? Could I think of any other crazy
questions to exploit this whole thing?!!!

Only time will tell where this "Love Connection" is
heading...

Within in the next few days, G.L.O.R.Y. will be
brining the fans of the site something new and
exciting. A brand new division will join our site:
"Legends Of The Ring"!

We're going to be bringing you profiles and news
about the ladies who put Women's Wrestling "on the
map" and paved the way for today's female workers.

The reason for the new division? Actually, the idea
came to John The WebMaster after reading a few
messages posted between fans in the PGWA Yahoo! Group.
It seems that many of the legendary ladies of the
sport have purposely remained distant in recent years.

Why? Well, many of them feel as though women's
wrestling has deteriorated to a side show of Jello
matches, T&A displays and "puppies"...all to the
detriment of the actual athleticism and hard work that
had been put-in by the pioneers of the sport who
fought so hard for respectability from male promoters.

Feeling that this situation was unfortunate, The
WebMaster thought that there had to be a way to get
the legends of the sport the recognition they
deserved....while also showing them that many of the
current ladies are working hard and NOT falling into
the "T&A treadmill" pushed by the major promotions.

And so, the idea of the "Legends Of The Ring" Division
was born.

We hope to bring career info and pictures of as many
of the top female legends as possible to G.L.O.R.Y.
We'll also be bringing you info about the ladies
today...current photos, what they've been doing since
leaving the ring and their thoughts on the state of
the business today.

We'll also try to encourage the lady legends to
interact with fans and the current G.L.O.R.Y. Girls on
the site's message board. What a wealth of information
and advice these legends of the sport have to offer!

The hope is that the fans AND the current G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls can learn more about the legendary ladies and
the origins of the sport, interact with them and get
to appreciate what happened to "pave the way" for
today's current wrestlers.

We'd like to see the legendary ladies get to
know more about the hard workers that are a part of
the G.L.O.R.Y. family. Perhaps their perceptions of
the current state of the sport may be altered somewhat
as they learn that many of the indy girls have a lot
more to offer than the "puppies" that seem to be the
focus of the major wrestling federations.

The Legends Of The Ring Division will be debuting on
G.L.O.R.Y. within the next week to ten days. And we
think you'll enjoy learning more about our very first
lady...a TRUE LEGEND of the sport!

It looks like some indy groups are committed to going
all-out in promoting the ladies within their
organizations.

ACW, Atlas Championship Wrestling, is forming in Maine
and is planning to hold their first show before the
end of this year. The promotion is owned by former
WWF Superstar Tony Atlas, and it's promising to have
at LEAST one quality woman's match on every card. Not
catfighting, bra-and-panties matches, or spanking
exhibitions...but good, hard-fought, quality women's
wrestling.

WOW, Women Of Wrestling, looks like they are coming
back for a second season of action. The group, which
is headed-up by David McLane an based in
Englewood, CA, has successfully blended the
athleticism of the ladies of the ring with the glamour
and high-profile of Hollywood.

The group sponsors the Women's Wrestling Academy,
which is a training ground for future WOW stars. Run
by Josh Milton, Selina Majors (Bambi) and Thug (Peggy
Lee), WWA says that all trainees will get a try-out
with the Women Of Wrestling organization.

FWA-Virgina is yet another group which is seeking to
actively promote a ladies division. The organization

There has been no shortage of feuds in
G.L.O.R.Y.-Land. As more ladies join the site, it
seems that the combat between fellow G.L.O.R.Y. Ladies
is becoming more and more common.

Take, for instance, the recent battle between Lady
Vendetta and Mia Martinez. The slam-bang affair was a
mix of technical, old-school and down-n-dirty
brawling. Both ladies bounced each other all over the
ring with little regard for rules...although Lady V.
seemed to have the upper hand in the rule-breaking
department. Although Mia took the loss this time, we
hear she'd like nothing more than to get her blonde
enemy into the ring again...and SOON!

Mercedes and Lady Victoria have not been seeing eye
to eye lately. After what was supposed to be a
"training match" in Victoria's private gym got way out
of hand, the two women are said to want nothing more
than to get each other in a ring for a real, public
battle.

We hear that Mercedes is livid that Victoria turned
their training match into a clinic on how to cheat...
with Mercedes being the target of the questionable
tactics. Lady Victoria, we're told, is fuming that
the younger wrestler out-brawled her and embarrassed
her in her own facility. We hear that Lady V. has been
on a tear lately as she's seemed more vicious than
ever in taking apart opponents that she's been booked
against.

Is there a promoter out there willing to bring these
two together so that they can settle their differences
in front of the fans?

Down in the West Virginia region, the blondes have
been going at it as Sahara, Sasha and Tiffani Monroe
continue to war. A recent tag-team match in which the
Tiffani/Sasha team decimated Sahara's partner Flayre
seems to have been a major catalyst in this feud.
Sahara, coming off of a way-too-long medical leave
from  the ring, is looking for revenge.

But in the meantime, insiders and fans of Tiffani and
Sasha wonder how long these two can remain a viable
team. After all, neither woman is known for being very
loyal...except when their own interests are at stake.
Some say it's only a matter of time before Tiffani and
Sasha are at each other's throats rather than their
competition!

Can it be true?

Joe Rules--the New Jersey wrestler who prides himself
on how he is able to "defeat any girl" so long as she
doesn't cheat--joining forces with The Crazy Mexican--
the wacky masked wrestler who has YET to defeat our cute
little Ariel in the many matches they've had?

Although not confirmed (hmmmm...guess that's why it's
called a "rumor"), we've heard that Rules and Crazy
have been in contact to discuss forming a team that
would take on any female duo in the business. They are
considering issuing an open challenge to all ladies,
so long as the following stipulations are agreed to:

1) The combined weight of the ladies must be less than
the poundage that Joe Rules himself carries to the
ring.

2) The match must be a best two out of three falls...
unless the Rules/Crazy team scores the first pinfall.

3) Either Kenny Casanova or Devin Sturgis, both of
whom they consider fair and impartial personalities
when it comes to the subject of women in wrestling(!),
must be the referee for the match.

Can it happen? Will it happen? Who knows with this
pair. We'll keep you informed if we hear anything...

Some people have suggested that the Belvidere Ladies
Of Wrestling (BLOW) should split from their parent
group, Belvidere Championship Wrestling (BCW), to form
their own organization. Fans of the BLOW Ladies have
been upset that the group seems to get little support
from the men running BCW. Nothing has been done with
the ladies on the BCW Web site front, and recent shows
have featured little BLOW action.

We don't know how plausible the suggestion of a BLOW
spin-off is...or even if it is workable. But we do
know that BLOW and BCW, although both are officially
"Backyard Wrestling" groups, tended to run
professional-type operations that ranked on the same
level with some indy organizations and far above the
level of the majority of backyard groups.

Seeing BLOW split-off into their own "females-only"
organization would be a dream come true for many
fans of the ladies. If not, fans can only hope that
BCW decision-makers will utilize the talents of the
BLOW women and promote them more extensively.

support of the ladies.

It's not always easy to get to shows, but when there

can make it...go ahead and show your support in
person.

Cheer for the ladies. Scream. Let the other fans know
that the ladies have their supporters, too! And hey:
Don't be afraid to go up to the promoter after the
show and let him know (nicely!) that you bought a
ticket because you enjoy the ladies. Believe me,
they'll appreciate the feedback. And if a few people
tell them the same thing, they'll think hard about
making the ladies a bigger part of their shows.

Just a brief word about the submission feature on the
G.L.O.R.Y. Site. It has been upgraded recently to
allow for shows that have more than one G.L.O.R.Y.
Girl participating. (Previously, it would only display
one name and picture per show.)

When you submit show info now, use the pulldown boxes
on the submission form and choose the names of all the
G.L.O.R.Y. ladies who will be appearing INCLUDING
YOURSELF (if you are a G.L.O.R.Y. Girl making her own
show submission, that is).

Note that the names and pictures will appear on the
Upcoming Appearances page in the order that you submit
them.

This new process will make getting your show info onto
the site a LOT quicker and a lot more inclusive for
cards with multiple G.L.O.R.Y. Girls appearing.

As excited as we are about bringing new ladies onto
the site for you, we also have to report about ladies
who are leaving. And one of those ladies is Colleen.

Colleen has been one of the most popular G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls...even winning a G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Award just a
few months ago. Recently, Colleen left her "home base"
of Maryland Championship Wrestling and rumors began to
swirl that she was actually leaving the business.

We recently contacted Colleen and found that she was
in fact, taking herself out of the wrestling business.
The reason? Simply the fact that she didn't have the
time to devote to it. Not surprising in our eyes.
Colleen was always a G.L.O.R.Y. Girl who did things
100% or not at all. And right now, Colleen has decided
that she wanted to devote more time to her personal
life and her family.

Although we're sorry to see her leave, we wish Colleen
the best of luck in whatever she decides to pursue in
the future. And of course, if she ever does get back
into this crazy business...she is always welcome to
jump right back into the "G.L.O.R.Y. Arena"!

==> Violet Flame Takes Over Picture Of The Day!
==>

Well, it seems that what comes around goes around.

It was just a couple of months ago that Phoenix
hijacked the G.L.O.R.Y. Picture Of The Day and
demanded full editorial control over its presentation.
Her demands were the result of a match that she had
with Alexis Laree. If G.L.O.R.Y. fans wanted to see
the match photos, she insisted on writing the daily
picture descriptions herself. In a move that caused
some controversy among site fans, The WebMaster
relinquished control to Phoenix for the sake of
bringing the match pics to the fans.

The situation comes full-circle starting tomorrow as
Violet Flame has taken over writing the Picture Of The
Day descriptions for the next week.

Her recent matches against Phoenix during Canada's
national exposition were wild, to say the least. We
had heard about the action, but were unable to get our
hands on any pictures. It seems that Phoenix had
control of many of the official pictures taken during
the event...and she wasn't about to let us bring them
to you.

Luckily, G.L.O.R.Y. was able to track down some photos
from one of the Violet Flame/Phoenix matches that
took place when they teamed with their male partners
for a mixed tag match.

Far be it from THIS WebMaster to be revenge-minded,
but the first thing I did was contact Ms. Flame and
ask her if she was interested in taking over the
Picture Of The Day duties for that particular series.
She agreed immediately! It seems Violet was as
turned-off by Phoenix's twisted account of her match
with Alexis Laree as most all the other G.L.O.R.Y.
fans were.

To follow Violet Flame's guest hosting of the
G.L.O.R.Y. POD all this week, simply head into the
site and click the "Picture Of The Day" menu item. Or

==> Sugar Becomes Genesis

G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Sugar has become a little less sweet
and has changed her name to Genesis.

Why the change? It seems that Sugar has a whole new
attitude in the ring. She's been training...and she'll
soon be making the jump from ringside manager to
in-the-ring competitor. With the new attitude, this
lady has become more rough, more rowdy and more nasty.

Yes, Sugar is gone and a new beginning is at hand for
Genesis. A beginning that promises to be far more
violent than anything seen from this young lady so
far.

Watch for the Sugar/Genesis name change and profile
changes soon on the G.L.O.R.Y. site. Until then...

==> Erotica D'Vine Injury Update.
==>

Erotica D'Vine had been out of action for much of
September after receiving an injury during a nasty
eight man tag-team match that took place at APW's
100th show event.

The match pitted Erotica's team of Danny Ray,
Scott McComas, Punchy McGee, and Devon Cruise against
the team of Kid Kash, Ricky Morton, Chris Hamrick, and
Jack Miller.

Erotica D'Vine was injured when she held onto Miller
from the ring apron as she awaited Ray to nail him
with a forearm. D'Vine, unfortunately, lost her grip
on Miller and her teammate smashed Erotica instead!
Amid the cheers of the 300 fans who enjoyed seeing the
blonde vixen taking the rough shot, Ms. D'Vine hit the
floor hard and received a neck injury.

Diagnosed with what doctors told her was a "stinger",
Erotica was told to remain away from wrestling rings
for at least three weeks.

We're happy to report that Erotica has gotten through
the three weeks and is back to normal. She tells us
that she's looking forward to an October full of
action. To see more of Erotica D'Vine...

A new Yahoo! Group devoted to the ladies who wrestle
for the PGWA has been formed and it's taking-off
quickly. Only a month in existence, the group has
already logged over 100 members.

The group, moderated by wrestling insider Shiai Mata,
reports on the latest news and rumors regarding the
PGWA women, the PGWA organization, and other ladies
involved in the wrestling business. Intelligent
discussions, polls, debates and great features

==> Alexis Laree Heading To PGWA?

Rumors abound that Alexis Laree has her sights set on
the championship of the PGWA. The group, which is
called "home" by many of the toughest ladies of the
sport, features Leilani Kai, Lexie Fyfe, Pippa L'Vinn,
Diane Von Hoffman and Mia Martinez.

Some think "The Goddess Of Wrestling" is biting-off
more than she can chew. The feeling of many is that
Laree is certainly a talented young lady...but her
chances of beating the likes of Kai and Von Hoffman
are remote. The experience factor, insiders contend,
is just too much to overcome.

Others say that there may be some resentment among the
many veterans of PGWA also. After all, they've put
years into their careers. The ladies who have been
toiling away at this sport for some time might feel as
though Laree...a relative "rookie" to the ring...is
trying to accomplish too much, too soon. In other
words, some feel as though Ms. Laree has not yet fully
"paid her dues". Or so the thinking goes among some.

Still others have whispered that Alexis Laree's
meteoric rise has sparked some plain, old-fashioned
jealousy. Although no one will say it out loud, some
apparently are waiting for the opportunity to get
the beautiful Ms. Laree into the ring just to work her
over and teach her that the road to the top in this
business is a long and hard one.

A case in point is the working-over that Lexie Fyfe
gave to Laree in a recent Florida match...one that we
showed you this past weekend in G.L.O.R.Y.'s Picture
Of The Day. Even a cursory look at those pictures will
show that Fyfe was not so much looking for the win as
much as she was looking to dish out some punishment to
the brunette grappler.

Unfortunately for Fyfe, she apparently was more
interested is working over Alexis than she was in
simply gaining the win. Passing up a few opportunities
to pin the brunette challenger so that she could
instead dish-out further abuse, Lexie was surprised in
the end as Laree was able to pull out the upset win.

The established ladies in this sport are certainly not
going to stand aside and give an "easy pass" to
someone who they feel wants to jump past them on the
ladder to the top.

If Alexis Laree does have her mind set on traveling to
PGWA-Land, she had better be prepared for ring action
the likes of which she has yet to see in her career.

==> Awesome Anne And Charisma Friction Continues.

We hear from across the ocean that the UK's Awesome
Anne and daughter Charisma continue to have "issues".

Those of you who followed the grudge match between
these two recently on G.L.O.R.Y.'s Picture Of The Day
know that it was a tough and nasty fight.

Anne was unsuccessful at trying to pry a submission
out of the spunky Charisma, although she finally
pinned the girl after a particularly brutal battle.
Not getting that submission has been a thorn in the
veteran grappler's side.

Charisma, in the meantime, has let it be known that
her mother went way over the line in their match.
The youngster has told others that she felt her mother
wouldn't have beaten her at all if it weren't for some
questionable tactics. An eye rake, hairpulls and
vicious slams onto a rather thin mat certainly qualify
as questionable tactics to some...if not outright
rulebreaking to others.

Word is that Charisma is looking for a rematch...a
rematch to be held in a ring with a referee present.
Anne is supposedly resistant to the proposal and she's
told acquaintances that there's no need for a ring or
ref...she's happy to take on Charisma anytime,
anywhere.

This family feud is far from settled...

==> Candi And Allison Danger Working Together?

File this one under "HARD TO BELIEVE"...but word is
that two of the most mortal enemies in the wrestling
business today, "High Profile" Candi and Allison
Danger, have hooked-up to form an alliance to take
over the Premier Wrestling Federation (PWF).

In a recent tag match, Allison apparently turned on
her tag team partner and helped Candi and Dylan Night
to win the match. Fans in attendance were, to say the
least, shocked!

They couldn't believe that fan favorite Allison would
form an alliance with her blonde nemesis. It was
unimaginable.

We don't know what's going on for sure. There is just
too much "back room" wheeling, dealing and negotiating
to know what's fact and what's fiction. But we have
heard that these two ladies are FAR from allies.

Sources close to PWF tell us that locker room
personnel have spent more time pulling Candi and
Allison apart from potential fight situations than any
kind of planning or organizing which you would expect
from a newly formed alliance.

Can Candi and Allison Danger actually coexist on the
same team? The jury is still out on this one. We think
the fireworks have just begun.

4) LATE FLASH: Laree/Fyfe Battle For PGWA Gold!
===============================================

We just received word that Alexis Laree and Lexie Fyfe
did meet recently for PGWA Gold in a recent match in
Winston-Salem, NC. (Earlier in this issue we reported
that Ms. Laree was, in fact, eyeing the PGWA
championship.)

Here's a report of the match from PGWA's Shiai Mata...

"The championship match took place on Thursday night
in Winston Salem, North Carolina under the auspices of
the Professional Girl Wrestling Association.

This was more than just another title defense for
Lexie, however. This was a bona fide "Grudge Match"
between these two!  Their rivalry was sparked several
weeks ago, when both Fyfe and Laree faced one another
for the newly-created Ladies Championship in the
Florida Championship Wrestling promotion. In what can
only be considered an upset, Alexis beat the Foxy Lady
for that belt (although Lexie is scarcely willing to
credit her opponent's skill in that victory, insisting
instead that it was bad officiating which cost her the
match).

Ever since that fateful night, Lexie has been anxious
to get Alexis back in the ring again, intent on
proving, beyond a shadow of a doubt, who the better
wrestler is!  And Laree has been just as eager to
fight the Foxy Lady again. After having beaten her for
the FCW belt, Laree was convinced that she can now take
down Fyfe for the PGWA crown as well!

Special Events was able to bring these two champion
athletes together for a "Grudge Match."  Referee John
Horton was the official in charge, and the first thing
he did was to present Lexie with a contract that put
the PGWA belt on the line. She signed it with no
hesitation at all.

Alexis was supremely confident before the match. She
figured that she had Lexie's number now, and that this
Thursday night in North Carolina was going to be a
repeat of that night in Florida, with a brand new
title belt to wrap around her waist!

The two wasted no time in getting down to business,
and that was to make the other submit or be pinned.
It's difficult to adequately explain all of the
non-stop action, except to say that it was brutal for
both wrestlers! In the opening minutes of the match,
Alexis demonstrated why she is one of the most
exciting young stars in the sport today...and one of
the smartest!  She had definitely done her homework,
and she put together an arsenal of moves that
frequently had Lexie in serious trouble! As the match
wore on, however, Fyfe was able to put her veteran
experience to work, and she began to figure out how to
counter many of Laree's moves. Still, Alexis was far
from finished, and this match blazed away with the
advantage seesawing back and forth!

In the end, Lexie managed to summon up the strength to
execute a vicious Bulldog, which left Laree dazed on
the mat and helpless to prevent the pin. Referee
Horton presented Lexie with her PGWA belt, and then he
had to assist Laree...who was suffering from a
possible shoulder injury...from the ring."

Here we go with some quick updates, news and
thoughts about the G.L.O.R.Y. site...

And the site move continues. And continues...and
continues...

Sorry for the time it's taking in getting it all
together folks. Three things have caused the delay...

First, as I've been re-working the site, I've seen
a lot of things that can be done differently and more efficiently. So
I've been making the changes
accordingly. Yes, it means a delay in getting it all
going...but it will pay off in the long run in my
being able to keep the site updated faster and better.

Second, the fact that my computer did a super
"crash 'n burn" 10 days ago didn't help. Luckily, no
info was lost. But it did take time to get back up and
running and getting everything restored.

Third, The WebMaster and Mrs. WebMaster took some time
to visit the lovely Jersey Shore. No computers, no
email, no CD disks, no Windows, no voting scandals...

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Even a webmaster needs a few days now and then to get
recharged!

But now it's back to work and, yes, G.L.O.R.Y. will be
"ready to rock" on its new server home soon.

August G.L.O.R.Y. voting. And the final totals will be

Upon returning from that previously mentioned
vacation, I was confronted by a 76 page voter log. You
read right: 76 PAGES!

So if you followed the standings towards the end of
the month, be ready for a final result that could be
vastly different from what you saw on the voting
totals page.

I'm still weeding out the last of the multiple votes,
so we're not final yet. But there are a lot of votes
that will have to be hacked from over a dozen girls.

I like to look at it this way: The down side of
multiple votes is that they are a pain to monitor.
In fact, I'm working on a new system to help cut down
on the excess voting. But the plus side for the
G.L.O.R.Y. ladies is that it shows how enthusiastic
their fans are! (You gotta look at the bright side of
things when you're staring at Page 67 of a voting
statistics log...)

We send a "G.L.O.R.Y. Farewell" to a couple of ladies
whose profiles will not be included in the "new"
G.L.O.R.Y. when the site re-debuts.

Miss Robinson and Rio, two ladies who participated in
Georgia's UWA, are no longer involved in the
organization.

Miss Robinson in particular will be missed. One of the
first backyard ladies on the site, Miss R. is a former
G.L.O.R.Y. Girl winner whose profile and picture
page have been two of the more popular destinations
for site visitors. The attractive blonde manager and
wrestler certainly had the looks, charisma and
attitude to go on to the indy world if she had chosen
to pursue that path. But it was not to be.

Not at the present time anyway. Who knows what the
future may hold for Miss Robinson though?

part of our site and wish them the best of luck

==> Precious Lucy Injury Update
==>

As most of you know, Precious Lucy had been unable to
wrestle for much of August due to a knee injury she
received during a mid-month match. She's been itching
to get back into the ring but has had to wait on the
results of medical tests and an "A-OK" from her
doctor.

An update just hours ago from Lucy herself informs us
that the news is not only good...it's GREAT!

It seems that Lucy has NO permanent damage to her
knee. According to the doctors, the knee has no bone
or ligament injury. Lucy did sustain an injury to the
meniscus (whatever that is) and a slight tear to a
muscle near her knee. Both of those injuries simply
need a little time and they will heal on their own.

Lucy should be back in action by mid-September. Until
then, our favorite Canadian wrestler will still stay
active as she's been booked as a guest referee for a
number of upcoming matches.

Glad to hear the good news Lucy! We can't wait to see
you getting HARDCORE again! :-)

==> Princess Jade Fund Raiser Total & Future Craziness

Princess Jade reports that her fund raising event in
July which found her entombed in concrete raised a
total of over $3,000 for the Children's Hospital in
Indiana, PA.

Those of you that followed the late-July "stunt" know
that it was no easy task. Jade went through a heck of
an ordeal as she was cooped up in a tiny enclosure not
much bigger than a coffin for 48 straight hours.

"It's the least I can do to help the children,"
Princess Jade told us. "They have to go through a lot
more than 48 hours with the medical problems that they
face every day. I'm just happy that I could do
something that helps them."

And Princess Jade isn't finished yet. Next year, she
says that she's considering being "frozen alive"(!) in
a block of ice during another fund raising effort for
the Children's Hospital.

I hope Princess Jade remembers to wear a sweater...

==> Tiffani Monroe Steps Into The Ring!

You heard right: One of G.L.O.R.Y.'s most-popular
managers is making her in-ring debut September 8th
in West Virginia.

Tiffani Monroe will "don the tights" for her
first-ever wrestling match...and what a debut it will
be! Ms. Monroe has signed-on to be involved in an
ALL-LADIES BATTLE ROYAL.

Has Tiffani made a mistake? Only time will tell.
Choosing to be in a battle royal as a first match is
definitely a gutsy move. But the Nevada Cowgirl is
confident that she'll do well in the heat of her
debut battle.

This match is certain to be a highlight of
Championship Pro Wrestling's September 8th card at
the Triple B Arena in Berkley Springs, WV. If you are
near that area, make it a point to catch Ms. Tiffani
Monroe in her debut ring match!

==> Violet Flame Jumps At Chance To Battle Phoenix!

The G.L.O.R.Y. Girl that everyone loves to HATE,
Phoenix, was recently booked on a tour of Canada over
a several week period under the banner of the
Apocalypse Wrestling Federation--one of the most
popular organizations in the Great White North.

At the time, a suitable opponent for the fiery Phoenix
had yet to be found...so she stepped into a managing
role and aided the tag-team of Joey Knight and Robin
Knightwing. The team had been on a fast-track to the
top. That is, until Phoenix entered the picture.

It seems that Phoenix had her own ideas about how the
team should operate, and within a short time she had
turned the former tag-team partners into mortal
enemies.

And how did Violet Flame--the G.L.O.R.Y. Girl that
everyone loves to LOVE--enter into this picture? Let's
have Violet tell you in her own words. She can explain
it a lot better than I can. Here's exactly what she
had to say in a recent conversation we had about her
Canadian experience:

"Here's the story on how I ended up on that 'last
minute' Canadian tour, John.

You see, Joey Knight and Robin Knightwing were a hot
tag-team up in Canada--until Phoenix came along. She
befriended the duo, but she really got into Joey's
head...convincing him that he was the star of the team
and that he shouldn't have to share the glory with
Robin.

So, on the very first day of the CNE Tournament, Joey
turned on Robin with Phoenix's help. Robin was
heartbroken, but he knew he had to even the score--so
he called me.

He warned me that this girl was devious, strong,
nasty and skilled. He knew I've seen that all before
and he was confident that I could help him. Since I'd
already seen Phoenix's bad-mouthing of the other
G.L.O.R.Y. wrestlers from the time she got involved
with the site, I told him that I was already familiar
with Phoenix's tactics. I GLADLY jumped at Robin's
offer and got on the next flight to Canada to join
him.

Together, we defeated Joey and Phoenix twice in mixed-
tags and once in a 6-person tag...before they were
able to pull-out a victory against us in a final
mixed-tag match where they used a liberal helping of
double-teams and other underhanded tactics.

We got the last laugh though, when I managed Robin
and his partner Sparkling James Champagne to victory
over Joey and Boris Urkoff...managed by Phoenix.

I must say that I enjoyed stepping into the ring
against Phoenix. I felt as though I had all the other
G.L.O.R.Y. wrestlers backing me up in there as I
locked-up with that blowhard. I just wish we didn't
lose that final tag match. I would have loved to
send her back home with a string of losses on her
record.

I'm sure she'll blame the losses on her tag partners.
I know that already. So Phoenix...anytime you want a
singles match: You know how to get in contact with me.
You name the place, the date, the time. I'll be there.
I'm waiting to get you one-on-one, woman-to-woman,
just YOU and ME in the ring.

But to tell you the truth, I'm not going to hold my
breath waiting for my phone to ring on that one!"

commentary! Violet said it all. It's pretty obvious
that we haven't heard the last about Phoenix and
Violet Flame...

3) G.L.O.R.Y. Rumors

So much for our American perception of English ladies
being "proper". Awesome Anne and daughter Charisma may
be forcing us to change that long-standing belief!

We hear that trouble---rather than tea--is brewing
over in the UK lately between The Smiling Assassins.
Indications are that tensions between Anne and
Charisma have been rising recently. And as always,
there's two sides to the story.

Apparently, Awesome Anne has been ticked-off that her
daughter and tag partner Charisma has been costing
them victories in recent matches. Admittedly, Charisma
has been the victim of much of the pinning and
submitting action in their tag matches. But, in her
defense, the 17 year-old youngster is still new to the
wrestling business. Opponents realize this--and they
target the inexperienced girl for abuse as they keep
her in the ring while they tag out multiple times,
along with sneaking in illegal double-teams whenever
they can. They know that these tactics would be MUCH
tougher to try against the larger and more-experienced
Anne. Charisma, while being far more skilled than most
wrestlers close to her age, unfortunately finds
herself on the short end of the action against more
seasoned opponents.

Another opinion comes from a UK wrestling insider who
has a different theory...

"Anne has been at the top of the grappling game for
quite a few years now," the anonymous source told us.
"When Charisma came into the pro ranks, her mum wasn't
too thrilled with the idea--but she went along with
it. Charisma made an immediate impact with wrestling
fans who saw her in action. Not only is she energetic
and skilled in the ring, she also is 'an eyeful' as
you Americans like to say. The male fans obviously
paid attention to her right away. All that attention
focused on Charisma didn't sit too well with Anne. A
few of us saw this coming a long time ago."

Could it just be that Awesome Anne is feeling a bit
jealous of her daughter's newly found celebrity
status? Perhaps...

In Anne's defense, some say that she has in fact been
carrying much of The Smiling Assassins load on her
strong shoulders. They say that Charisma seems at
times to be somewhat "star struck" by her popularity
and spends more time worrying about her ring image
than in actual pro training.

As we said earlier: two sides to every story.

One thing for certain is that Awesomme Anne and
Charisma have been training in what looks to be like
a rougher style than usual. Past action photos of the
wrestling duo show them smiling, laughing and
generally having a good workout. But recently taken
photos paint a different picture. Anne seems to be a
little rougher in her tactics...and she certainly
doesn't seem to be holding back at all in punishing
her daughter on the mat when she has the opportunity.

==> "Stormy Times" Ahead For Joe Rules?

The usual joking banter between Amanda Storm and Joe
Rules has taken a more serious turn in recent days...
or so it seems to THIS webmaster.

The BlakWidow and Rules have met on numerous
occassions to do battle in the ring. Accounts of their
exploits have been posted to the G.L.O.R.Y. Message
Board many times. The pair obviously enjoy testing
each other's physical prowess AND mic skills when they
meet.

But lately, there seems to have been a change.

Ms. Storm's usual fun and light-hearted posts have
taken on a more serious tone. She seems to feel that
because she's seen success in the pro ring, she's not
being taken seriously as a submission wrestler. There
seems to be a growing realization on her part that the
verbal and written "jousting" that she's been doing
with Joe Rules has cast her in a less-than-serious
light.

For his part, Rules has let it be known that he
feels he's been a big reason for Amanda Storm's
popularity.

"Come on!" Rules said to The WebMaster in a recent
chat. "Storm was nowhere until I started hauling my
butt up to New England to meet her for matches.
Suddenly she's getting all kinds of attention and
publicity. Why? Because I got her noticed. Do you
think she'd be selling so many copies of her BlakWidow
book if it wasn't for me getting her noticed?"

"As easy as I made her," the rotund villain continued,
"I can BREAK her. And I don't mean just publicity and
career-wise. I can break her in the ring, on the mat,
pro-style, submission style, arm wrestling, oil
wrestling, mud wrestling, checkers, Yahtzee..."

Rules was on a roll and continued with a long-winded
list of contests which are too numerous (and boring)
to mention here. But his final comment bears
reporting:

"Whatever it is, whatever she chooses...I can beat her
at it because I'm JUST PLAIN BETTER THAN HER."

Perhaps Rules really means it. Or perhaps he's just
playing-out his character to the hilt. But the way I
see it, it doesn't matter. If he's serious, Amanda has
too much pride to let Joe Rules get away with comments
like that. If he's just playing out his gimmick, he's
STILL in hot water with Storm because she seems to
have a growing distaste for Rules' clowning.

Either way, I see a rocky road ahead in this
Storm/Rules situation.

==> LAST MINUTE NEWS FLASH: A Violet/K.C. Kelly Feud?
==>

You read earlier in this issue about the recent action
Violet Flame had in her Canadian Tour against Phoenix.
Well, we've just learned that another offshoot of
Violet's trip may be an emerging feud with none other
than Buffalo's K.C. Kelly.

The way we understand it, Violet agreed to meet with
K.C. for a day-long training and practice session
at a Buffalo, NY wrestling facility during one of the
"off days" of her Canadian jaunt. Since most of
Violet's gigs were just across the border from
Buffalo, it was a perfect opportunity for the two
popular G.L.O.R.Y. Girls to meet.

Unfortunately, Ms. Flame had to cancel at the last
minute when she was asked to fill-in for another
touring wrestler who couldn't make a show. Seems like
a reasonable situation. But K.C. Kelly is not quite so
certain.

Word out of Western New York is that K.C. is livid
about Violet's last-minute cancellation. In fact, we
hear that she thinks Violet Flame's cancellation was
rooted in something much different than a fill-in for
a fellow wrestler.

"Yeah, right," Ms. Kelly was quoted as saying by
another local wrestler. "She had to pull out of our
training match for a fill-in. Okay. If that's what she
wants to tell everyone."

The source we heard from claims that K.C. Kelly REALLY
thinks the reason for Violet Flame's pull-out was a
case of nerves. Seems she's convinced that Violet
heard about K.C.'s rough, tough, old-school reputation
and just plain got scared to meet her in the ring.

The two ladies will both be on November's Wild West
Wrestling card in Denver, CO...although they aren't
scheduled to face each other. But we hear that
Ms. Kelly is looking forward to getting Violet in the
ring before or after the actual show to--as Judge
Mills Lane would say--"Get it on!".

Seems that K.C. Kelly wants a piece of Violet Flame
bad. What will happen when these two ladies meet? We
don't know...but it's certain to be an event of
interest to every G.L.O.R.Y. fan. We'll keep you
posted on this  explosive situation.

Here we go with some quick updates, news and
thoughts about the G.L.O.R.Y. site...


==> Yikes! Big changes here at G.L.O.R.Y.

We were informed last week that we have exceeded the
bandwidth limit on our hosting server. The good news
is that THAT means the site is more popular than ever.
The bad news is that we not only have to move to the
next level hosting plan (translation: MORE $$$!), but
we also have to physically move the site to a brand
new server home.

UGH! DOUBLE UGH!

But since it has to be done, The WebMaster has decided
that he might just as well bite the bullet and do a
total re-programming of the site. Will it be painful?
Yes. Will there be glitches? Definitely! Will it mean
that there will be a delay in getting new G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls added to the site? For sure.

But in the long run, we'll be in much better shape.
Systems that worked when we had 10 or 20 girls on the
site have started to become hard to work with now that
we have 60 ladies. And we will only get busier
(I hope) in the future. So...a little short-term pain
now, but a lot of long-term gain in the future.

So bear with us as we make this transition. Okay?

Since our last issue, four new ladies have joined us
here on G.L.O.R.Y....

* Allison Danger is tearing-up the Northeast and
Mid-Atlantic regions as she leads her man, Rapid Fire
Maldanado, onto victory after victory. But now that
she's stepping into the ring on a more regular basis,
her feud with "High Profile's" Candi has really
heated-up. These two are intent on ripping each other
apart.

* Awesome Anne and Charisma--G.L.O.R.Y.'s first mother
and daughter team--are set to wrestle in September in
Great Britain. And in November, they are scheduled to
be a part of the big WWW card in Denver, CO.

* Another lady scheduled to appear in Denver this
November is our new G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Lady Vendetta. The
blonde vixen has said she will do whatever she has to
do to defend her newly announced Cruiserweight title.
(You can read more about that in the next section.)

Welcome all our new G.L.O.R.Y. Girls. Feel free to

is planning their inaugural event for late-November,
has been quickly adding the top names in the women's
wrestling world to their roster...

an all-women's wrestling organization out of Denver,
Colorado, are proud to announce they have selected
Lady Vendetta as the new Cruiserweight Champion of
Wild West Wrestling. The Directors made their choice
based on Lady Vendetta's extremely talented wrestling
abilities which she has consistently exhibited in
her 9 years as a professional wrestler. Wild West
Wrestling welcomes Lady Vendetta and feels she will be
the perfect individual to defend this title with a
zeal and aggressiveness that has become her
trademark."

girls in a mixture of pro and "not-so-pro" action.
Along with the regular matches, you will also see a
Bra & Panties Match, a Bikini Tug-O-War, a Foxy Boxing
Match and an all-out, everybody-in Pudding Battle
Royal!

Some of the girls participating in the event were
Alexis Laree, Tara, and MCW's "Blonde Bombshell"
Candie.

The cost of the video tape is $15 plus $4.95 shipping

contacted G.L.O.R.Y. with an interest in booking
ladies for the promotion. They would prefer to use
ladies who are in their area so that they can be a
regular part of TXW cards. They need heels and
babyfaces--so everyone is eligible in that regard!

I'll give you a direct quote so that you can see where
they're coming from:

"All of the boys we will be using will be talented and
I need women that have real talent. This is not a T&A
show, so if they can't work I don't need them."

Pretty blunt. But hey--they know what they want!

further west! We've just learned that Violet Flame has
moved out of the Phoenix, AZ area and is now living in
California.

That may be very good news to G.L.O.R.Y. fans.
Although we don't know exactly where in the state
Ms. Flame has settled in, the Cali wrestling scene
should be more active and offer more opportunities to
Violet.

PS: No word yet on whether Nightshayde stayed in the
desert or made the trip to The Golden State. :-)



==> It looks like the foe of nearly every G.L.O.R.Y.
Girl has gotten himself into trouble. "Extreme T&A"
Devin Sturgis has been dumped from KYDA Pro Wrestling.
That is what's being reported on the KYDA site as of
today. We don't know any details other than what's
being reported on the site, but this can only be good
news to the ladies of KYDA and to all G.L.O.R.Y. Girls
in general. Now that he's out of the picture, perhaps
his "anti-women in wrestling" ranting will end.

3) G.L.O.R.Y. Rumors
====================

==> G.L.O.R.Y. has heard from a fellow worker that
Pandora--who was recently reported to have retired
from the business--has been spotted in training at a
gym close to her home. We contacted Pandora about the
report and she confirmed that she was, in fact,
visiting the gym. When we asked her if this meant we
could consider her to be in training for a return to
the ring, we received an emphatic: "No comment."

Does this mean that Pandora is getting back into the
game? We can't say for sure. After all, she may just
be working-out to stay in shape or for rehabilitation
of an injury. Still, it does make one wonder...

We've always felt that Pandora was a star in the
making before bad luck with an injury late last year
threw a monkey-wrench into her career plans. She
certainly has "the look" that gets attention in this
business. If she *is* getting back into shape and
training with the intent of entering the ring again,
we're sure that you'll be hearing a lot more about

==> We reported in our last issue that Destiny's
Diamond and THE VIXEN (tagging as the Gothic Angels)
would be teaming-up in Denver for a Wild West
Wrestling Tag Championship Match slated to take place
in November. Who their opponents will be is still a
mystery. But there is a rumor floating around that
they may be challenged by two of the most-popular
ladies on the G.L.O.R.Y. site. We have no idea if it
will be a couple of ladies who have worked together
before, or whether it will be a newly-formed team.
When WE hear more, YOU'LL hear more.



==> K.C. Kelly to take on tough competition in the
Mid-Atlantic region?

We're getting word that K.C. Kelly is itching to get
back to the ring soon...VERY soon. The sexy and
scrappy blonde--who has piqued the interest of many
G.L.O.R.Y. fans since her recent "un-retirement"--is
said to be eyeing the competition down in the red-hot
Mid-Atlantic region. Virginia, North Carolina and
Maryland indy rings are currently the home of some of
the toughest ladies in the business. So much for Ms.
Kelly "easing back" into the ring!

The question is: Is K.C. Kelly that good or is she
showing a bit of over-confidence here? No doubt the
lady is tough. But is she prepared to step-up to that
level of competition so soon? The K.C. Kelly of a
couple of years ago could surely hold her own...but
"ring rust" sometimes takes a while to shake. Our
current series running in G.L.O.R.Y.'s "Pictures Of
The Day" seems to bear that out as K.C. looks to be
having more than a little trouble in a recent
anything-goes training match.

Some have speculated privately that if K.C. isn't
careful about choosing her first few comeback
opponents, a K.C. Kelly "re-retirement" may be soon to
follow.

Rumors have also been swirling that claim
several G.L.O.R.Y. Girls have been more than a
little "P.O.'ed" about the attention paid to the
comeback blonde. Seems like a case of "what have
you done lately?" mixed with a dash of plain 'ol
female jealousy. It's not much of a stretch to see
why some ladies would like to get K.C. into the
ring one-on-one.

So WHO will K.C. Kelly's first opponent be? WHEN will
her first match take place? WILL she be traveling into
the Mid-Atlantic firestorm of competition? We'll let
you know as soon as something breaks...

1) Thanks To The "Early Birds!"

A big "Thank You" goes out to all of you who
signed-up to receive the G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling
Newsletter! (Pretty imaginative title, huh?)

Like the G.L.O.R.Y. Site itself, this newsletter
is a work in progress. It will definitely be
changing and growing as time passes.

And remember: It's only our first try at this!
I'll be learning how to do things better--what
works, what doesn't work, etc. And you can help
in that regard. Make sure you get in touch with
your ideas and thoughts. Tell me what you liked
and what you didn't like. What you want to see
more of and what you aren't interested in. That's
what will make this newsletter valuable: YOUR
INPUT!

2) G.L.O.R.Y. Site News

Here we go with some quick updates, news and
thoughts about the G.L.O.R.Y. site...

==> "Time, keeps flowing like a river.
      To the sea..." --Alan Parson's Project

Well, every time The WebMaster thinks he's
getting caught-up, something else that takes a
little more time enters the picture (this
newsletter, for example!) So, we need to start
looking at making a couple of adjustments in the
near future. Don't be alarmed if you visit one
day and see certain sections of the site
"disappear".

First to go may very well be the "Match Results"
section of the site. I'm sure you've noticed that
it hasn't been updated for a few months. Early
in G.L.O.R.Y.'s existence, there was time to do
the write-ups. But as the site has grown and more
ladies have been requesting to join, that time
has disappeared! (Where does it all go?)

Also, the "Girl Of The Month" feature is one that
hasn't been activated yet, but one that I'd like
to get to SOON. Not to be confused with the
monthly voting, the "Girl Of The Month" feature
was/is intended to shine the spotlight on a
different G.L.O.R.Y. lady every month...going a
little more in-depth into their personality,
career, history, etc. Expect this section to be
up and running soon.

The question is: What do YOU want to see added
(within reason) and what wouldn't you mind seeing
dropped? Would dropping the results section from
G.L.O.R.Y. upset any of you? Maybe you are not
all that interested in having a "Girl Of The
Month" spotlight section/interview? Perhaps
having a caption/description with each "Picture
Of The Day" isn't important to you and you only
care about the picture itself? Or maybe you don't
even care about having a POD at all?!

This is where you can help. Drop a quick email
to me at GloryWrestling@... and let me
know what you think. Be honest and tell me your
thoughts. I don't really know what you want and
don't want unless I hear from you. I value the
opinions of the people that write-in to me from
this newsletter list. Why? Because you took the
time to sign-up and read this. That tells me that
you are dedicated fans of the ladies and the
site. So to me, your opinions are by far the most
valuable. :-)

==> The Message Board has been pretty active
lately.  First, there was the nearly minute-by-
minute coverage of Princess Jade's concrete
entombment last weekend. Then there's the
controversy concerning indy promotions and
workers, the re-ignited Phoenix/Alexis feud, the
merits of the city of Pittsburgh, even opinions
on the length of Kendra's hair! There always
seems to be something happening in there. Make
sure you check it out often...and contribute
often! That's what makes a site interesting--the
community of people and fans that get involved.
Don't be shy about posting your ideas, thoughts
and opinions. So long as you are decent and
polite, you won't be picked-on. I promise. If you
are picked-on, let me know. I'll send Joe Rules
over to the offending party's house in an evening
gown and have him nail 'em with "The Joe Elbow".

==> The recent influx of four new ladies on the
same day was a first for G.L.O.R.Y....but,
believe it or not, we STILL have a backlog! There
are a number of ladies who are soon to be added.

- Awesome Anne and Charisma from the U.K. (our
   first overseas G.L.O.R.Y. Girls).
- West Coast wrestling star Savvy.
- Jenny "Looney" Lane who was featured on the
   Discovery Channel's "The Inside Secrets Of Pro
   Wrestling School" documentary.

==> Then, there are the ladies who have agreed to
come on the site, but we're waiting for their
profile info to come to us: Lexie Fyfe, Athena,
Valerie Valentine, Sin-D, PCW's Ivy, Miss Laura,
Amber Holly and the rest of the BLOW Girls. If
you know or work shows with any of these ladies,
maybe you can put in a good word for G.L.O.R.Y.
and maybe "nudge them a little" to get back to us
with their info. Perhaps I should be more
aggressive in contacting them again ...but I
don't want to be a pain in their butt. But a
reminder from a fellow worker or a fan might do
the trick. ;-)

3) Rhonda "The Monster Ripper" Sing Dies
========================================

Sad news I received recently from Jim Divito. He
contacted me to say that lady wrestling legend
Rhonda "The Monster Ripper" Sing passed away
recently.

According to Jim, Rhonda was nothing like her
"in the ring" personality. While performing, she
was the classic, old-style, big-girl villain. In
private, she was a very sweet, caring and fun
young lady.

Rhonda was only 40 years old when she passed
away. We send our condolences to her family and
friends.

Watch for Rhonda in a G.L.O.R.Y. "Picture Of The
Day" next week.

4) GLOW Returning?

This news came in on the G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board
just as our newsletter was about to go out into
cyber-space. No time right now to do checking on
it...but it comes to us from Shiai (a VERY
reliable source when it comes to news of the
ladies wrestling scene), so I put a lot of faith
in this...

GORGEOUS LADY OF WRESTLING ACQUIRES COMPANY

"Farmer's Daughter" Hopes seed sown in 90's will
reap bountiful harvest.

Los Angeles, CA--Ursula Hayden, who portrayed the
well scrubbed, wholesome Babe, The Farmer's
Daughter on the smash G.L.O.W. (Gorgeous Ladies
Of Wrestling) television series has announced she
has purchased the company for an undisclosed
price. G.L.O.W. pioneered the woman's wrestling
genre, and did so with a unique blend of action,
comedy sketches and music videos. If the G.L.O.W.
name has a familiar ring to non- wrestling fans,
it is probably because G.L.O.W. was featured in
People Magazine, Married...With Children, Phil
Donahue, and David Letterman.

G.L.O.W. had broad national appeal and was a
ratings winner that generated strong revenues.
Ms. Hayden becomes the first female owner of a
wrestling company that spotlights female
performers.

"Male dominance really hindered G.L.O.W., just as
it impedes other businesses" Hayden said today.
"G.L.O.W. was especially vulnerable and impacted
because the women were perceived and packaged not
as the athletes they were, but as sex objects. My
mission is to change that."

"It was interesting that when G.L.O.W. was
programmed by a female P.D., as it was on WPIX in
New York, the show ran at noon on Saturdays.
G.L.O.W. became a huge hit there because young
girls perceived the G.L.O.W. women as superheroes
and role models. 70% of our fan mail from the New
York area came from girls 8-14."

"Of course, in some other markets, male P.D.'s
decided because G.L.O.W. featured female
wrestlers, it should run at 2 in the morning",
Hayden continued. "With very few young girls, who
were our target audience, able to watch at that
the hour, the show did not do well. This was no
surprise to me."

G.L.O.W. cast members Hollywood, Melody Trouble
Vixen (MTV), Lightning, The Housewives, Godiva,
Johnny C., and Daisy have all signed with
Hayden's company. In addition Hayden plans open
casting calls in Los Angeles for new G.L.O.W.
performers. Hayden's plans include a G.L.O.W.
reunion tour, website (www.glowgirls.tv),
television show and licensing program.

G.L.O.W is currently in negotiations with two
cable television networks. Star Quality Products
of Minneapolis has been selected as the G.L.O.W.
licensing agent.

"It's a new era for the Gorgeous Ladies Of
Wrestling" Hayden said before slipping into her
trademark Farmer's Daughter Southern drawl.
"I plum did good, didn't Ah? Ain't too shabby for
a farm girl in the big city, right, pa?"

5) G.L.O.R.Y. Rumors
===================

==> What's up in MCW land? The ladies division
has really been getting turned upside-down with
the arrival of Alexis Laree, and word is that
there are some problems brewing. As Maryland
Championship Wrestling has grown, so has the
attention paid to the ladies. More are coming in
to join this hot promotion. We hear that another
G.L.O.R.Y. Girl may soon be joining the fray. The
question is: Where does that leave the "veteran"
MCW divas Colleen, Candie and Tara?

MCW has a women's match on nearly every card, but
they rarely have more than one. As new ladies
start flooding into this hot promotion, something
has got to give. Either: a) MCW top brass have to
start adding more ladies matches to the shows, or
b) the ladies roster will have to be pared-down,
or c) all the ladies will have to learn to work
together and share ring time.

Which way it will turn out is anyone's guess at
this point. But if I had to choose, I'd day that
"c" is the LEAST likely to occur.

==> Shiai reported on the G.L.O.R.Y. Message
Board recently that Pandora had retired from the
business. Needless to say, the WebMaster was
surprised to read that! A quick contact with the
blonde wrestler to confirm the report was in
order. After chatting with Pandora, I found that
she actually has been away from the ring for a
while...but she's seriously considering getting
back into the game. So the bad news is that
Pandora still is, in fact, "retired". But my
feeling is that she's itching to get back to
the ring wars sooner rather than later.

==> Sometimes when you really want to find out
the latest scoop on your favorite G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls, the best thing to do is join their
official Yahoo! Club (if they have one). Many of
the ladies visit regularly for chats or to read
and post messages. This is where you'll find a
lot of the "behind the scenes" and personal info
about the girls as they tend to "let their hair
down" in a more relaxed and comfortable
atmosphere away from the ring and the wrestling
news sites. Right now, Precious Lucy, Violet
Flame and Catt Fanelli have clubs devoted to
them. And there's a club for all the "Divas Of
SCW". If there are any other Yahoo! Clubs out
there devoted to any of our G.L.O.R.Y. Girls, let
me know so that they can be included in our links
section.

==> More rumors about the upcoming all-ladies
show being planned by Colorado's Wild West
Wrestling are filtering in. Apparently, Destiny's
Diamond and former G.L.O.R.Y. Girl THE VIXEN,
using the name of "The Gothic Angels", have been
"declared" the Tag Team Champions. There are
rumblings that this is not sitting well with the
other ladies slated to wrestle for the promotion.

Some say that this was a "union made out of
opportunity" by the newly-edgey blonde wrestler
and the Louisiana redhead. That may not be far
from the truth. For months, Destiny's Diamond and
THE VIXEN have been sparring across cyber-space
with threats about what they were going to do to
each other when they met in the ring one-on-one.
Now, suddenly, they are teaming-up and are
awarded a tag team title?

The questions are:
- Why the sudden TV/DD alliance?
- What interest does the promoter of WWW have in
   suddenly bringing together these two former
   enemies and literally handing them the tag
   belts?
- What makes WWW think that these two will even
   stay together long enough to be able to defend
   the championship--much less work together as a
   team?

My guess is that whoever these two ladies face
will have a distinct advantage. And I will go so
far as to predict that the challengers--whoever
they are going to be--will take the belts on
the first try due to Diamond's and THE
VIXEN'S inability to put aside their personal
differences.
