1) 91 shows featuring the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls!
===========================================

Is the female indy wrestling scene hot? Consider this:

Going into this weekend, G.L.O.R.Y. had 91 shows
listed which involved the ladies on this site in
wrestling action or managing. And that's the total of
shows just out into mid-Spring. You know many, many
more shows will be posted as we get further into 2003.

Click the G.L.O.R.Y. site's "Shows & Appearances"
buton on a regular basis to catch any shows near you
which involve the G.L.O.R.Y. Girls. Remember: it's
great to support them on the site...but supporting
them in person is just as important! Let your local
promoter know that you enjoyed seeing the girls at his
show and that you will come back for more wrestling
excitement if he continues to use your favorite
G.L.O.R.Y. ladies.

And when you see a G.L.O.R.Y. Girl live at a show,
introduce yourself at intermission and let her know
that you recognize her from the G.L.O.R.Y. site! Not
only will she get a kick out of meeting you (as many,
MANY G.L.O.R.Y. fans have reported), but any
non-G.L.O.R.Y. lady who might be on the show may
be persuaded to join the site when she sees how much
attention our G.L.O.R.Y. Girls get. :)

2) Lady Victoria, Louise Lockwood star in new mag...
====================================================

With the demise of Fighting Females Magazine last year,
many wrestling fans were left in a lurch. But fear
not! A new magazine called "Ladies In Combat" is set to
make its debut in the next month or so.

The magazine will cover the women's wrestling scene in
both the USA and the UK.

Prominently featured in the first issue will be
G.L.O.R.Y. Girls Lady Victoria and Louise Lockwood...
and it's very likely that other ladies from the site
will also be covered in the coming months.

Look for the magazine to be available soon.

3) This Week on Diva Talk: Trinity!
===================================

Diva Talk, sponsored by No DQ Wrestling and G.L.O.R.Y.
Wrestling continues to bring you interviews with the
best and most-interesting women on the indy scene.

Host Chris Halen has already had interviews with
G.L.O.R.Y. Champion Macaela Mercedes, as well as two
other G.L.O.R.Y. Girls: Fyre and Melissa Coates.

This week's interview is with G.L.O.R.Y.'s Trinity!

A portion of the interview was broadcast throughout
Western New York State, Ontario and world-wide across
the Internet during the No DQ Wrestling show this past
Saturday afternoon. Trinity--who did stunt work for
the current blockbuster movie, Daredevil--spoke with
Chris about her career, wrestling, how she got
involved in the sport and more.

4) Macaela Mercedes, Melissa Coates at OVW.
==========================================

Two G.L.O.R.Y. Girls--Macaela Mercedes and Melissa
Coates--spent the past week at Ohio Valley Wrestling
(OVW) training and showing their stuff to WWE scouts.

Although we don't have details yet about all that went
on down at OVW, The WebMaster was able to catch Macaela
for a quick phone chat early in the week to see how it
was going. Macaela reported that the days were long,
often starting late-morning and continuing until dinner
time. But she also mentioned that she was enjoying the
experience and was learning a lot. Macaela reported
that of the fifty wrestlers in attendance, only *four*
were women.

An online chat I had with Melissa Coates confirmed much
of what Macaela mentioned. Long days of training were
the norm. Melissa also mentioned that she was learning
a lot and enjoying the experience. Other than Macaela,
Melissa said that the two other ladies were not
familiar. One lady was from Texas...apparently a
body builder or fitness girl...although not a BIG girl.
The fourth lady was from Australia. Whether she was
*originally* from Australia or currently living there
was not clear.

Both Macaela and Melissa should be returning home this
weekend...and perhaps we can hear more about their
OVW experience on G.L.O.R.Y.

We are in the process of setting up a G.L.O.R.Y. Chat
Room...would Macaela and Melissa be willing to
chat with G.L.O.R.Y. Fans about this past week in a
scheduled chat? Possibly. We're working on it and will
report on the G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board in the next few
days if we are able to get it together.

5) Kendra's Diary: Behind the scenes at CRUSH.
==============================================

Kendra is back at her desk writing in her journal, and
G.L.O.R.Y. has the exclusive for you!

Kendra's Diary--the popular site feature which has
allowed G.L.O.R.Y. Fans to follow along with Kendra on
her journey from valet to full-fledged wrestler--has
just been updated with the spunky blonde's account of
her weekend at CRUSH.

Leena from Fargo (Kendra's CRUSH character) relates
details about backstage happenings at the show, her
"comedy of errors" trip to Minneapolis and more. Once
Leena is through, Kendra is back to tell about her
upcoming bookings and pending wedding.

Pending wedding?!

6) Eric Shaffer Folder at our Yahoo! Group.
===========================================

The first folder of new G.L.O.R.Y. Photographer
pictures has been added to the G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling
Yahoo! Group. Eric Shaffer filled his folder with new
action pics from the Killer Babes vs. Tracy Brooks &
Cindy Rogers match. (And if you want to know how
intense the action was, just take a look at Eric's
picture of April Hunter and Nikki Roxx pinning Tracy
into the corner by jamming their boots into her
throat!)

We're giving you fair warning: DON'T WAIT TOO LONG TO
CHECK OUT THESE PICTURES! They will be rotated on a
regular basis as Eric snaps new stuff for us. So "out
with the old and in with the new" will be the course
of action when it comes to the Yahoo! Group Photos.

G.L.O.R.Y. Photographers H.G. Kosteck and Danielle
D'Adamo have also agreed to post their work in our
Yahoo! Group. Watch for their folders to be filled
soon. We're in the process of contacting other
G.L.O.R.Y. Photogs about setting up their own folders
also. We'll tell you about them as it happens.

Note: The photographer folders are NOT taking the place
of G.L.O.R.Y.'s regular Photographers Gallery. They
are merely a supplement to the gallery for those times
when the G.L.O.R.Y. Photogs have action to bring you...
but The WebMaster is not able to update their gallery
pages.

The Yahoo! Group photo section should become a regular
stop on your normal Web surfing schedule.

7) New G.L.O.R.Y. Girls coming this week...
===========================================

The BAD news is that The Ol' WebMaster can't report
on any new G.L.O.R.Y. Girl additions from this past
week. Sorry...too much other stuff going on behind the
scenes.

But, the GOOD news is, there will be new G.L.O.R.Y.
Girls coming on board this week. How many? Geeez. I
would really be putting myself on the spot if I throw
a number out there and don't hit it. I know how you
folks hold me to this kind of thing!

So let's say: Two.

Two new G.L.O.R.Y. Girl profiles this coming week...
but you wouldn't you mind if I went over that number,
would you? :)

You know where to find the profiles when our new
G.L.O.R.Y. Girls arrive, right? Just look for the
announcements on the G.L.O.R.Y. home page...which, by
the way, should *always* be your entry page when you
visit the site. One glance at the home page news items
will tell you what is happening throughout the site.

8) Site Of The Week: Wrestling Clothesline!
===========================================

Okay folks. Make a visit to the Wrestling Clothesline
site when you have a chance. Just make sure you leave
yourself enough time...because it won't be a short,
five-minute stop!

This is my kind of site. Lots of news. Interviews.
Entertaining info.

Looking for fancy-shmancy graphics? Forget it! Won't
find 'em here. And I *DON'T* mean that as a knock on
the WC site. On the contrary, I mean that as a total
compliment.

Many times, you'll come across sites on the
Net that look beautiful. Full screen graphics. Nice
art design. Flash animation. That's great...for the
first few minutes. But after you get past the glitzy
graphics...well, as Clara Peller used to say..."Where's
the beef?!"

Wrestling Clothesline has news and columns devoted to
the indy scene, and they pay plenty of attention to the
women's division. They also have a great feature called
"10 Questions With..." where various wrestling
personalities answer (what else?) 10 questions about
themselves, their career or the business in general.
Quite a few G.L.O.R.Y. Girls have been the subject of
"10 Questions with..."

And at the time this newsletter is going out, WC has
a tribute to Mr. Rogers on their front page. Maybe I'm
just a softy...but I think that's nice.
