Greetings,

I am writing from the Shire of Oakheart, Kingdom of Calontir. Our
St.George event will be having equestrian activities as noted below.
We would be honored for any and all interested persons to take up our
challenge and help us dispense of this pesky dragon once and for
all. Besides equestrian a consort tourney will be held, more
fighting to be announced later. Hands on A&S competitions. Plenty
of Archery. Also an inn will be available for lunch and dinner.
Site opens Friday May 9th at 5pm and closes Sunday May 11t at noon.
Site fees are $6.00 for 13 and up, $4.oo for 12-6 and 5 and under are
free. $3.00 Non-Member Sur Charge. Merchants are free, bring your
table. Lots of trees and great places to camp.



The date is fast approaching to gather together and celebrate brave
St. George and his besting of that horrible dragon. A tentative
schedule is included here for the equestrian activities, which as
always is subject to change depending on number of riders, weather
and the ever present hiccup. Authorizations may or may not be
available. Lord Madoc will be the Equestrian Marshall in Charge.

EQUESTRIAN SCHEDULE -

Inspections and (possible) authorizations first thing Saturday
morning.

First Challenge: Dragon (Pig) Sticking. You have 2 passes to injure
said foul beast

Second Challenge: Charge the Dragon (Quintain) This is you
opportunity to show everyone your skill with a lance and inflict a
mortal wound as the dragon flies through the air

Final Challenge: Dragon Target (Mounted Archery) You will have six
arrows to finish off this horrible monster

Champions will be named for each challenge and one warrior named
champion over all.
