Greetings All,

With much regret, I am putting Alex and Robbie back into the Second Wind Adoption program (http://www.crossedsabers.com) (this is the organization where I got them).

So...... If anyone out there is interested in a very good dressage horse that does the games, or a big spanish handful that also does the games, please contact me asap.

I'm pretty sure their adoption fees will be the same ($400 each) and there is a $25 application fee, but still, you would be getting a horse worth quite a bit more than that ! Please visit the Crossed Sabers website for more information on adoption requirements.

Here's the "low down" on them:
Robbie (Robber Baron) is a three time Grand Prix Champion, trained in high level dressage. He is, to put it simply, INCREDIBLE. He is a 1994 model, 17 hands tall, bay, with a beautiful carriage and a very nice head and soft eye. Perfect form, wonderful manners. He is trained in our events. (Everything except mounted combat) Comes to call, perfect ground manners. Because he is so well trained, and extremely responsive, I would not recommend him for a beginner, but would be great with intermediate and advanced. His adoption contract forbids high jumping, but dressage, etc is just fine and dandy :-)
Alex (Brandy Alexander) is a Spanish Norman (3/4 Andalusian x 1/4 Percheron cross), and is trained in english, knows how to do the piaffee and passage, but needs conditioning to be able to maintain either. Alex is for an experienced, confident rider only. He requires a gentle but firm hand. He is 16.3 hands tall, a beautiful flea bitten grey, with the Andalusian carriage and attitude. While not as tall as Robbie, Alex is a big boy, and can carry a heavy rider, as long as that rider knows what he (or in his case preferably she) is doing. He has a lot of bone, and wears a size four shoe on his not oversized for him feet.

Both will wear full barding, Alex will also wear full armor. Robbie currently will wear the headgear (sorry, brain freeze) Both trailer well, though it does take feed and a quiet hand to load Robbie. Alex will load in a volkswagon bug if you show him feed :-)

Pictures of both can be seen on my site at http://www/pinewoodcreations.com , and I will be setting up pages for each of them tommorrow with more pictures.

Thank you for your attention, and please feel free to pass this information on......
Deborah
