7(ish) year old purebred (not registered) Belgian mare for sale. Approx. 15.2 hands, very stocky, well built, and an easy keeper. She stands for the farrier, loads and ties. Rhiannon is broke to ride and knows the basics, but is still a little green. She needs an experienced rider that will work with her to bring her to her fullest potential. As she is not overly huge, she would be suitable for SCA use as well as driving or pleasure riding. She has a very comfortable trot and will canter under saddle. She is an intelligent horse and has the potential to be a good mount for someone willing to work with her. I have ridden this mare a couple of times and she has an easy mouth and is responsive to pressure. She is located in Shreveport, LA
